I met a man at a wedding a few weeks ago who used to attend The Grove in the 90's. Of course when I found out about it I asked him. He said it's a big frat boy BBQ with some theater at the end.

I live within two hours drive of the Grove. It's common to meet people here who have worked at the Grove. None of them have ever witnessed anything unusual and I don't think the ones I met were just holding back. One waitress did tell me that any conversation between wait staff and patrons was kept to a strict 15 second time limit or something like that.
