Looking to share an experience I had today and your thoughts.
Were he comes to meditation and visions I am very much a novice it's something I've only been doing nearly two months by myself with no training.I very much do and listen to what feels right.
What happened today was quite extraordinary.
For the first time on starting a 25 min meditation which is about my limit at this time.I asked for guidance and a vision of past lives from my guardian.
What came through towards the end was a moving picture of a colonial British solider in full uniform in great detail including such details as embossed brace buttons.this soldier was situated in a rocky terriain of sand and small rocks .he bent over and picked up and inspected I crudely made arrow but with a vicious arrow head made of metal barbed and serated.this lasted but moments but the detail was extraordinary.shortly after I finished the mediation and felt quite high.
What happened next is were I really could use some advice.not five seconds later my mum phoned up.so I explained what just happened.
She became excited and told me I had just seen my grandad in the army in his five year tour of India.I had no idea he had even Been there as he had died fifty years ago before I was born.this has and always will be a difficult thing for my mum to talk about as she still carries the scars of the lose but this got her so excited she opened up.she is digging into her archives and gathering the old documents and pictures for me to look at.
Could it be possible or just coincidence

these are the pictures that my mum passed on.this is exactly and vividly were I was in my vision minus the banner.
I find this whole episode very humbling and exciting at the same time.got a large trunck to go through over easter ,wonder what else might be found.

I am sorry I missed this thread from back in 2011, (so much to read and learn and so little time). Wow that is an amazing opening post Kiwielf and it raises more questions in relation to the related Synchronicities thread. It makes me wonder if for example:
When you have a new born say sea turtle do they have a knowledge which is encoded in their DNA or is it possibly derived from a collective subconscious that they need to get to the ocean to avoid being prey to seagulls? I mean the theory suggests evolution is a result in a species due a subconscious consensus, and so why could not the survival instincts be such a download of sorts to?

Is this mandela effect and synchronicities and other extra normal events actual our collective subsconscious trying to awaken the conscious mind to a broader sense of reality? An application of the idea of Jing and Yang and I cheng in a sense collective subsconsious trying to create balance between the use of both hemi spheres of the mind?
And also by extension a means of assisting in the deconstruction of our current paradigm and facilitating the co creation by humanity of a new paradigm?

So I also wonder does this also mean that the right hemisphere of the mind is a connection to not only the collective subconsicous but also by extension to love and the soul?

Sorry I might have gone off on a bit of tangent.

This is a creepy coincidence; the licence plate of the car, now in a museum in Vienna, in which Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie were travelling in when they were assassinated in Sarajevo. This event has been said to have been the spark that led to World War One.

The plate is A111118.

The word “coincidence” means “happening together”. To the Creator, or the Ultimate Computer Program if you prefer that metaphor, anything anywhere anywhen happens at the same time at the same place and in the same dimension. However, Creation’s program is made in such a way that the creatures themselves never notice this eternal, omnipresent and unique coincidence.
Occasionally however the Program has a glitch or the Creator a little distraction. That is when these strange things happen, but for the Creator Themselves it is just a coincidence.
