    Sad news.

After almost 2 years of running the server on 100-500 mbit upload speed it is going to close permanently due to me moving to a new house after divorce where i no longer have fiber optic internet. Upload speed will go down to 1.7mbit wich is not enough to run this server. Server will go down around the 11th of this month.

Maybe, in about a year, i will move to a place with fiber optic internet again and it will be possible to run the server once more.

So long and thanks for all the cheese

A Tesla science museum is being created:

    Quote Saving Tesla's Last Laboratory

    Reviving Wardenclyffe
In 1903, construction was nearly complete on Tesla’s wireless transmitting tower at Wardenclyffe. Built directly behind his stately brick laboratory, the tower soared nearly twenty stories high and was a technological wonder designed to transmit energy and information around the globe. But the project was shut down in 1903 due to a lack of funds, and in 1917 the tower was dismantled and sold for scrap metal. Wardenclyffe was also sold, and the laboratory building and grounds were used for commercial business until 1987, when the last company ceased business operations there. Wardenclyffe was unused for almost twenty years, until the property drew the interest of board members of a science museum in nearby Shoreham-Wading River High School. The museum needed more room for its growing programs, and the board was looking for larger off-campus space when Wardenclyffe was thought of as a potential future home. Amazingly, the last remaining laboratory of one of history’s greatest scientists was standing vacant in the neighborhood. Although the 16-acre site was suffering from neglect, the brick laboratory still existed, along with the base of Tesla’s famous tower.

    Continuing the Dream
The school museum board decided to create Friends of Science East, Inc. (FSE), an offshoot organization with a dedicated mission: to preserve Wardenclyffe and develop it into a science and education center that continues Tesla’s legacy of technological innovation and humanitarianism. FSE immediately set about gaining support. They collaborated with representatives from Brookhaven Town, Suffolk County, New York State, and Shoreham Village, and garnered the support of various fraternal, civic, and business groups. As the journey to save Wardenclyffe gained momentum, FSE obtained approval to do business as the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe, or TSC@W for short.

    Funding Success!
But the fight to save Wardenclyffe couldn’t continue without financial support. Help came in August 2012, when internet cartoonist Matt Inman (TheOatmeal.com) was drawn into the effort, and together with TSC@W launched an online campaign to raise awareness and funds. The campaign was an unprecedented success, galvanizing the public and ultimately raising $1.37 million. The cause was boosted further by a matching grant and $1 million donation from Tesla Motors™ CEO Elon Musk. Finally, in May 2013, the organization that began as a small school science board succeeded in buying Wardenclyffe.

    Initial Site Cleanup: Phase I
Over the following months, TSCW organized a team of volunteers who systematically cleaned the grounds as the first phase of a huge restoration effort. Immediately after purchasing the property, TSCW began securing the site and its buildings to safeguard the historic elements on the property. Volunteer crews worked hard to uncover the hidden parts of the tower base, clean loading docks, perform preparatory landscaping on the entire site, weed to eliminate invasive vegetation, chip wood, collect metal from around the site, clear out the guard house, install floodlights, and much more.

    Statue Preparation
In preparation for the dedication of a Tesla Statue, a gift to TSCW from the People’s Republic of Serbia, several contractors, with the help of many volunteers, cleared an overgrown area between the tower base and the street, raised the ground, built a foundation and fenced-in area, laid electrical services, erected light poles, laid decorative stones; and reseeded and mulched the tower base.

    Statue Dedication
With the new Tesla statue and monument and the significant beautification near the historic tower base and laboratory building, the site of the future Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe quickly became an attractive landmark in Shoreham, New York. The statue was dedicated by Serbian President Tomislav Nikolić in a ceremony that was attended by over 300 supporters from around the world. For their efforts in Wardenclyffe’s restoration, our volunteers were named People of the Year 2013 by the local press.

    Grounds Cleanup: Phase II
From 2013 to early 2016 we held regular cleanup work sessions that transformed the overgrown former industrial site into an accessible campus. Since then, the focus has shifted to preparing for the restoration of the historic laboratory, laying the groundwork for a master plan for the entire campus, and an overarching fundraising strategy, including a much-needed renovation of the website and outreach via various campaigns. With the steady help from volunteers as well as from hired contractors during 2014 and 2015, much of the invasive growth on the main campus has been controlled. Large parts of the campus, including Tesla’s historic laboratory and nearby tower base, are now visible from outside the perimeter fence. Up until this point, the TSCW Board had been operating off-site. Their move to a headquarters on the Wardenclyffe grounds marked the beginning of the next and crucial phase of establishing the Tesla Science Center at Wardenclyffe.

    Restoring the Laboratory
Since Wardenclyffe was purchased and saved, thanks to the generous support of tens of thousands of donors worldwide, we have made significant progress toward preserving the laboratory building and reclaiming the grounds from decades of decay.

    National Register Listing
In 2018, the property was listed on the National Register of Historic Places, commemorating the historical significance of both its architecture and of its relationship to Tesla’s most ambitious project.

I found some interesting material from 'Professor Simon' on Tesla and possible scalar weapons.

Professor Simon (not a real professor) has a lot of well researched and clearly thought out 10 to 15 minute videos, which he expands when 'insiders' add corrections or more detail. I also enjoy his stuff because he is interested in mysteries, but doesn't fly off into the conspirasphere to explain them.

    Here's the relevant video:

If you have a genuine interest in recent historical mysteries (especially those of a technical nature) you'll probably enjoy his channel.

Question Re: The scientific works of the greatest inventor of all times: Nikola Tesla - AVAILABLE.

Weird and Extremely Odd that NOBODY made a real voice recording of Nikola Tesla speaking public ... as he was interviewed so many times and gave multiple public lectures! AND him being the real farther of radio! ... I can tell/sense so much when some one speaks, it is a gift I have and I desperately want to hear his voice! ... I hope someone that was close to him has family-lines who are alive and MAY have an audio recording of him.

    cheers,
    John

It is so difficult to put into words an idea as fantastic as Tesla's own inventions.

For, despite his prodigious intellect, and despite his humanitarian goals, his greatest inventions threatened the status quo of the industrialists and the elite establishment.

It is this conceived threat that is the fantastic idea. An idea so terrible, a lifestyle so revolutionary, a society so invigorated, that it threatens the future profit and control of the gatekeepers. Business as usual was at stake and the idea had to be and was throttled in its infancy. The idea was cancelled so thoroughly that not a hint of it has remained in the public square.

What is the idea that never saw the light of day?
That a man, or woman, would use their intellect and dedicate their lives, with no concern for reward or profit, to the betterment of society and the uplifting of the human condition.

That entire nations would do the same, or for that matter should the entire world act accordingly was never entertained. In fact it has always been considered a matter of national policy to render its citizens in some way powerless to chart the course of their own lives. The people have always found themselves on the receiving end of draconian measures that limit their freedom and choices in the name of national security.

It is to the corporations that governments kowtow. These fictional entities have been bestowed with super-human rights and privileges forever beyond the individual's purview. Corporations are profit driven and devoid of morality, deferring to ethical considerations to moderate their horrendous business strategies. A corporation's motto can be summed up as: 'competition is an evil that must be destroyed, and people are merely mouths and wallets'.

These operating principles that dominate the world of money are anathema to the great idea. They are the antithesis to the thesis of the great idea. Where the corporate motto rules, the great idea cannot even be expressed. Not because the words are hard, but because the concept is impossible to superpose over this 'bottom-line' world.

There is another way. There is a way of life that precludes the concept of money and power and control. We can learn to share. To share not only the resources of the world but the collective thoughts, ideas and inventions as well. No individual is an island unto themselves, and so no individual holds exclusive rights to their thoughts. All individuals are the product of the collective and cannot and do not exist without support from the collective.

There is no room for profit any more than there is need for war. That is a fallacy perpetrated on the masses to perpetuate the scarcity model of modern economics, which drives the greed and the fear to monopolize and leverage for economic gain.

There is a great idea so threatening to our world leaders that the mere hint of it has to be eradicated from public discourse and most importantly the public's psyche.
And yet when we are threatened, when we have had all we can abide, we call upon our brothers and sisters to unite. And we take to the streets in solidarity and common cause.
That is the great idea! But of course since the world of profit rules, the great idea is perverted and seems...radical and disruptive.

We could unite. We could live united in common cause, for the good of all.
We could look out after one another.
We do not have to live like this, in scarcity and suffering and poverty.

Take away the corporations and the governments and the money, and you still have all the people and all the resources of an entire planet! Take away the profit and the rule makers and the interest on debt and you still have the wealth of an entire planet!

There is a great idea whose time has long been nigh. It is only but a change of heart away.

We can turn this thing around over night any time we wish with just a thought.

    Can you think it?
Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend. Bruce Lee

Free will can only be as free as the mind that conceives it.

    • Nikola Tesla's Assistant Talks About Work in the 1880s: Restored Video and Audio:

Before becoming Nikola Tesla's lab assistant in 1888, Charles Scott worked several jobs in the electricity field. In this video recorded in 1933, he describes those experiences. This video has been colorized, speed-adjusted and restored with audio enhancements for clarity.

In 1888, Charles Scott joined the engineering staff of the Westinghouse Company, Pittsburgh, PA. He was assigned to assist the legendary engineer-inventor, Nikola Tesla, in developmental work on Tesla’s AC motor. The Westinghouse Company had purchased the patent rights to Tesla’s motor in May, 1888 and arranged for the inventor to continue his work at the Pittsburgh plant. Scott later wrote that the Tesla motor in its simple form required two alternating currents, differing in phase, and sustaining a relation similar to the two driving rods of a locomotive which are set at 90 degrees so that, when one is at its inactive position, the other exerts maximum effort. Their initial efforts to modify the motor to operate from a single-phase system proved unsuccessful, resulting in the decision to develop a two-phase system. By 1892 Westinghouse reported that it could build Tesla motors with ratings of 1–1000 hp.
Am still waiting for anyone to find a real authentic audio where you can hear Nikola Tesla speaking (like giving a lecture or being interviewed) ... and it is not crazy to assume that maybe someone will eventually find such a recording ... film footage would be even more impressive!

Why were trunks belonging to genius inventor Nikola Tesla confiscated in 1943? Did they contain the plans for nearly free worldwide electricity, massive death rays, and other inventions out of the future? A new investigation driven by declassified CIA documents suggests a secret history of bitter rivalries, government conspiracies, Cold War and WW2 spycraft, extra-terrestrial communication, and amazing achievements of a truly gifted man – Nikola Tesla."

    The "lost" interview
Interesting words. It (watched about a third) sounds fantastical and not credible, but I have not read Tesla. From reading of his ventures and apparent successes, I had a more reserved tenor in mind. All those utterances (being polite here) seem contrary to my take on the man. I dipped into the comments, after going there to find sources, and a lot of folks were asking for backup. I’ve not yet perused the channel’s contents, but 8.75m subs (40k+ views today) might be motive for making things up.

So this referenced post (thank you, Icare) woke me up in a certain way. When I said I hadn’t read him, I recognized a lifelong blind spot — not seeking out the published word of many more than I did. People who’s (whose?) work I was studying. Memory of being a loner at uni comes to mind, HS was chill because I was an athlete, oilfield drilling rigs were a problem because everybody was basically an athlete.

Anyways, to tribute Nic, here is a comment there that I find intriguing:

    @TheRotnflesh
“This man was like Einstein in his mind: He could picture anything and, rather than be an object of his thoughts, his thoughts emcompassed the whole picture. He saw the Earth as one harmonic construct whose form is held together by its smaller constructs. Man, itself, is one of those celestial constructs. The term "Energy, vibration, and frequency" has to do with the magnitude of the construct being observed. Harmonies are made by smaller harmonies and those by smaller harmonies; there is no dissonance in nature, only unobserved harmonies. Larger harmonies would break up smaller harmonies and vise versa.

    Johnnycomelately,
I've done a little research and found that this interview is probably/possibly part of a play called "Tesla or the adaptation of an angel" by a playwright called Stevan Pesic.

I tried to find the script but was unable to do so, so I have no way of knowingg whether it was really in said play.

Whether it was or not, it's still an interesting interview, I think.

Like you, I would also like to read some original Tesla texts.

Thank you, Icare, for this lead. Interesting writeup on the author.

I searched the title, and found this different YT vid about it. It gives a bit more info on the work, mentioning that it was a radio play before being made a stage play and then two movies (2001 and 2014, iirc). I place just the link, because the majority is a similar reading, and extra related info can be found in the comments.

I didn’t go far into the 179 comments and found the below pasted comment, which had 5 replies. For any math hobbiests/geniuses (am not one, tho am aware of the historical ~simplification of the relevant math from quaternions to what is used today), the reference to Eric P. Dollard may be worth looking into.

Anyone looking to understanding this phenomenon, please research Eric P. Dollard. He has done a fabulous job at preserving the lessons and formulas lost to capitalism. I'm so glad many are waking up to the fallacies within our current mathematics which are hidden in old papers and pre 1900's electrical engineering books. God Speed!
