I ran into a long-lost friend in a car park the other day, and had her over for a visit last night.
Such fun catching up after 25 years.
So mow she has just registered to become a member of Avalon, and I can't wait to have her
move into one of the available cottages in our Village.

Hi Lynnlynn, and a big Welcome Hug.

Hope you like your new digs:

Just saw this piece about a long dead poet’s home collapsing.
    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...near-roof.html

Among other things, Francis Thompson wrote a poem to a single snowflake; I dedicate it to anyone who is still snowed under in late March. When one in many is enough, how many is perhaps too many?
    Quote To A Snowflake

What heart could have thought you? --
    Past our devisal
    (O filigree petal!)
    Fashioned so purely,
    Fragilely, surely,
    From what Paradisal
    Imagineless metal,
    Too costly for cost?
    Who hammered you, wrought you,
    From argentine vapor? --
    "God was my shaper.
    Passing surmisal,
    He hammered, He wrought me,
    From curled silver vapor,
To lust of His mind --
Thou could'st not have thought me!
    So purely, so palely,
    Tinily, surely,
    Mightily, frailly,
    Insculped and embossed,
    With His hammer of wind,
    And His graver of frost."
    Francis Thompson
I’m just wondering what a poem called “To a Loose Brick” might read like…

    Update:
Uh oh, shouldn't have posted that - just seen my first three (3) snowflakes of the winter, the rest is (unnecessary) rain.

edit to add...okay, I have now watched this enough times that I am laughing. Just wait until the next time the girls laugh at my little ole happy dance...they will get a big dose of this one!

    Yeah it's ridiculous isn't it?
I can't watch it without getting the giggles.

Here's what I do not understand...

These young and new multi-billionaires of the internet and many other 'new' very wealthy people call themselves philanthropists.

Such as Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook and Sergey Brin, Larry Page of Google and on and on...their are many now.

They are quite intelligent and seemingly rather empathic.

With their access to general knowledge of deeply hidden history and technology and natural medicine and other matters around the world, would it not follow that they would do something clandestinely, simply because they are able, basically under the radar of the negative-controlling political and financial powers and $intensely$ help bring free energy and eco-earth advanced technology to the world en-masse and pronto to feed and heal and upgrade humanity's ability to get on board with helping these changes come to fruition?

This could and would re-direct it all in the blink of an eye in an un-stoppable way, wouldn't it?

Many other multi-millionaires with good hearts in the entertainment industries would surely come together and help as this gained quick momentum, and it would, imho.

Would it help for us 'common' folk to continually broadcast this, in a, well, loving but direct way?

Aren't things that are non-ethical breaking down right before our eyes?

Isn't it time, as never before, to step this up?

    Greetings,

Wife and I have visited her cousins there many times....we like the Mayaguez area ...while on that side of the island go see Rincon great surfing eating....Aricebo may be open...observatory.....
The other side of the island has the old fort....El Morro...and Old San Juan is nice...the new part..of San Juan, not so much...
when we get there we first go to Luquillo to the kiosks of different food vendors...and get our fill of lobster and crab empanadas, meat pies, ....and of course the EL Yunque rain forest is a must see...
Hope you have a great time...
p.s. don't forget the officially designated UFO highway...yes, they see so many down there ...there's a place you can sit and watch for them...
    Blessings
    end of line.

In the "2Cellos" video, the kids' reaction reminds me of the story of Buddha assembling the monks to allow a living successor to be found, and the instantaneous (zen) reaction of one monk smiling. Of course, it's staged in the video, but the director conveyed the same kind of message: the genuine, authentic, reaction and interaction to the experience (faster and more direct than an intellectual response) - in spite of cultural norms, protocol, programming, and mind.
