Well i've just learned some of Handels music. I kept away from his most

famous works, a bit to pompous and religious for me.......

Is it that time already , i have to be up early in the morning for work, Yawn !!!!!

This is another by Bach, made famous in the UK in the eighties as a backdrop to a cigar add. Thats how alot of these
classics have been used in the media age. I knew the tune and looked it up and found it was a masterpiece of Baroqu music..

A more familier version certainly for me would be classical Guitar..

    Good night Steve....

This piece I first heard when I saw Stanley Kubrick's Barry Lyndon.
It is my absolute favorite...top of the list.
    Can't hear it often enough.

Thanks Ulli I almost put up the Barry Lyndon version which is 4 mins long and more atmopheric , but i plumped for the more soothing version....

Carmen Burana is like most of the music on this thread I have heard it in different contexts, advertising, films and in our local carnival setting so its been

interesting to find out how classic they are and put them with their original composers.....

    Cheers Steve..
