Incredible! Astronomers See Moon-Forming Disk Around a Newly Forming Planet





Planetary formation is a complicated, multilayered process. Even with the influx of data on exoplanets, there are still only two known planets that are not yet fully formed. Known as PDS 70b and PDS 70c, the two planets, which were originally found by the Very Large Telescope, are some of the best objects we have to flesh out our planetary formation models. And now, one of them has been confirmed to have a moon-forming disk around it.

Moon formation is even less well understood than planetary formation at this point. Even the origins of our own Moon are still up for debate ...

These orange unidentified flying objects were recorded in the sky above Lake Tapps. a reservoir in Pierce County, Washington. Filmed on 24th July 2021.

Eyewitnesses (Father and son):

We were walking on the street and we suddenly stopped just to see at least eight objects floating through the sky, this event lasted for just about over four minutes."

I look up in the sky and there's a bunch of spaceships. I swear to God, there were five to seven, and I don't know why I didn't try to take a picture of it. I just looked at it. I was sitting on a rock, and I was like, "What in the hell is that?' I was trying to figure it out, and they went away. And then they came back. They came back in a different formation than the one they were in previously. I was like, 'Those are f-cking aliens.' They were spaceships."

Theorists are in a frenzy over “fractons” – bizarre, but potentially useful, hypothetical particles that can only move in combination with one another.





Your desk is made up of individual, distinct atoms, but from far away its surface appears smooth. This simple idea is at the core of all our models of the physical world. We can describe what’s happening overall without getting bogged down in the complicated interactions between every atom and electron.

So when a new theoretical state of matter was discovered whose microscopic features stubbornly persist at all scales, many physicists refused to believe in its existence.

Fractons are quasiparticles — particle-like entities that emerge out of complicated interactions between many elementary particles inside a material. But fractons are bizarre even compared to other exotic quasiparticles, because they are totally immobile or able to move only in a limited way. There’s nothing in their environment that stops fractons from moving; rather it’s an inherent property of theirs.

“When I first heard about fractons, I said there’s no way this could be true, because it completely defies my prejudice of how systems behave,” said Nathan Seiberg, a theoretical physicist at the Institute for Advanced Study in Princeton, New Jersey. “But I was wrong. I realized I had been living in denial.”
