The Star of Bethlehem: Can Science Explain What it Really Was?



Could the Star of Bethlehem have been caused by a "great conjunction" of the bright planets Venus and Jupiter?

For centuries, astronomers have looked to the historical record in search of evidence for what could explain the Star of Bethlehem. Scholars have been discussing potential causes since at least the 13th century. Perhaps it was a supernova, a comet, a solar flare or an alignment of planets. Or, alternatively, maybe it never happened at all.

The story of the Star of Bethlehem appears only in the Book of Matthew. The gospel tells us that a bright star appeared in the eastern sky when Jesus was born, famously seen by a group of wise men. These biblical "Magi," sometimes called kings, now adorn nativity scenes around the world.



Astronomers have determined recently that on June 17, 2 B.C., the planets had come so close they would have almost appeared
as one object, similar to the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn in 2020.

On February 9, a small spacecraft began an unprecedented journey through space — getting closer to the Sun than any other man-made object has before. The Solar Orbiter has been traveling through space for nearly a year, and on December 27, it made the first rest stop of its journey: A brief flyby of Venus that will fuel the second half of the spacecraft’s trip. In another video posted to Twitter from Edo@Ezstezz, the person writes it looked like the lights were over Circa in downtown Las Vegas.

Another video posted to the @ContactTour1 Twitter feed shows the lights from someone recording in the southeast part of the valley looking northwest.



Stephen Demeter emailed Mystery Wire photographs from the far southern part of the valley. He wrote, “We took these pics last night around 8:00 pm (Monday). We are in the Club at Madeira Canyon and look north to the airport and the strip.”




Wednesday afternoon, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) did respond, writing the lights seen from the Las Vegas valley were “flares from the NW military ranges.”

UFO Encounter at Blackjack Campground

In July of 1982, eleven friends from the entertainment industry went camping at Blackjack Campground in a remote area on Catalina Island, off the coast of southern California. Around sunset a thick fog rolled in. Shortly later, the UFOs arrived. Three unidentified glowing objects approached silently and hovered in front of the witnesses. As the eleven people struggled to understand what they were seeing, the temperature dropped dramatically. Somebody noticed that their watches had all stopped. Someone else discovered that their flashlights weren't working. Nor were their cameras.

Then the show began. Beams of brilliant light flashed between the objects. Before long, one of the objects released other craft, which soon approached the witnesses. So begins an encounter which would change the lives of eleven people forever (names of the more well-known have been changed). It's a multiple witness UFO encounter involving multiple strange effects both electromagnetic and physiological. Catalina Island is located in a UFO hotspot, as many other encounters have occurred on the Island and in the surrounding area.

Einstein-Oppenheimer Draft





This six-page document entitled, "Relationships With Inhabitants of Celestial Bodies", is the first document to use the phrase "Extraterrestrial Biological Entities" or EBEs. It says the presence of unidentified spacecraft is accepted as de facto by the military - and this is dated June 1947. It deals with the subjects that you would expect competent scientists to deal with - i.e. where do they come from, what does the law say about it, what should we do in the event of colonization and/or integration of peoples, and why are they here?


The document suggests that in the event that EBE's desire to settle here on earth there will be "profound change in traditional concepts" of law and the possible need for a new "Law Among Planetary Peoples."

There is also propositions concerning the necessary creation of a "Cosmic International law" that would protect the rights of all celestial states to lay claim on otherwise unclaimed solar territories.

Finally, the document addresses the presence of celestial astroplanes in our atmosphere as a result of actions of military experiments with fission and fusion devices of warfare.

The authors of this document encourage consideration of our potential future situation and safety due to our present and past actions in space.

March 2, 2021: The Hubble Space Telescope snapped this image of the spiral galaxy NGC 4826, which can be found 17 million light-years away from Earth. The galaxy, which lies in the constellation of Coma Berenices (Berenice's Hair), is often called the "black eye" galaxy because of the dark band of dust and gas sweeping across it, which can be seen in this image.
