    Default Pet Reincarnation

Late last December I lost one of the best friends I will ever know, my family's beloved dog Boomer. We got him as a puppy when I was just 9 years old. Over the years we developed an extremely close bond. When we lost him in December, we were all devastated. A couple months later, while speaking with my mom over the phone, she told me that she had already put a deposit down on a new puppy. This came as a surprise because it was way sooner than we had originally planned. I personally was not completely through my grieving process yet. My mom explained that my youngest brother Declan missed having a dog and that our home seemed empty without Boomer. Also, she had made the decision to get another male of the same breed, a Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier. With all this happening so fast, a thought occurred to me; Perhaps this was all happening so fast for a very special reason. Perhaps Boomer was coming home. So for the next couple months I meditated on this idea and did my best to "call" Boomer home. I even discussed it with my mom who I rarely share this kind of stuff with. Come April 24th this year, it was time to pick up the puppy, who we decided to name Finnegan, and I was lucky enough to be back home on this date. When I first looked into Finnegan's eyes I could feel Boomer's energy coming through. This did not completely convince me though because, since I was anticipating Boomer's reincarnation, of course it could all just be in my head. Once we got home though, we noticed he likes to nap in the same spot on the kitchen floor as Boomer did. Not only that he seemed to act like Boomer, with few exceptions. The biggest kicker of them all though, was that when the vet came for a check up, he noted that Finnegan's left knee had some weak ligament tissue, not from an injury or anything, but his genetics. This was confirmation for me because, when Boomer was a puppy, he tore a ligament in the very same knee and had bad arthritis in it for his entire life. Finnegan even sits the same way Boomer used to with his left leg kicked out to the side to relieve the pressure on it. It makes me tear up just thinking about how profound and real this is.

Has anyone else on here experienced anything similar to this with their pets?

As far as i have learned, If pets experience love and care they will reincarnate within that family unit. People who have experienced NDE have often said that their pets were on the other side with family members.

For the simple reason that you asked, I have no reason to doubt you received.

    Enjoy your friends company.

Well I don't have any experience on the matter of pet reincarnation, but I have a Chihuahua mix female, Lilu; and she is crazy obssesed with being arround me: From time to time she seems to be "pushed" by some invisible hand, one time it even knocked her of the sofa. Another time she was flipped very slowly while assleep from one side to the other. She is very nervous most of the time and she behaves like she absolutely has to be at my side like my shadow, sometimes it's kind of annoying because she can trip me. Love her so. My little bodyguard I call her.

By the way, congratulations for such a beautiful puppy, you are lucky to have Finnegan in your life.

I read where some pets large and small meet up with their love one and carry on. I found comfort in that knowledge. I’ve included the link below. Shortly after, I experienced it first hand in this repost:

My neighbor, Barbara had a dog named, Mikie. As part of his training, she’d walk him around the circle driveway, and also he’d accompanied her with the chores like empty trash and care for the horses. Always the same trot from both of them, and same hand positions with the leash.

One morning, Barbara emptied the trash and came around the circle. Only this time, she walked with an invisible leash, the same hand positions as always. And Mikie? He was trotting right by her side only in his light-body. I blinked a couple of times, still in doubt.

That afternoon, Barbara dug a deep hole with the farm equipment next to the horse fence. Then she walked the circle alone with a wrapped up bundle. She lowered herself into the knee deep hole, and gently laid her Mikie to rest.

From the light came two dogs of mine. One was a collie named Mimi who had died three years previously from an infection, and the other was a box named Sam who had died two years before after being hit by a car. The dogs came running and jumped on me and kissed my face with their tongues. Their tongues weren't wet, and I felt no weight when they jumped on me.  The dogs seemed to glow from a light that was inside them.”

I had a dog, she died in december 2007, but I still miss her. Strange how strong a bond we can have with our pets.
I still hope her reincarnation will come back to me, but i wouldn't know how to find her.

I dont have a digital foto of her but this one comes very close.

Observer, all you have to do is believe really and the universe will take care of the rest. You might want to check out the links Onawah posted. They've really helped me to understand the human/pet bond a lot better. It really is quite beautiful.

PS. I hope you do get to experience the joy of being reunited with your furry friend.

    Yes ! Yes ! Yes ! i get a big yes !

Wow you are a rare one my friend ! enjoy this beautiful souls life all over again .. you must have been the very best of friends for this to happen.. and perhaps Finnegan needs to teach you something Boomer didnt get through last time ; 0 )

My dog was my best friend , i would have married her but the family would not have approved ( lol ) her family that is ... my family would not be the least bothered or shocked by this ( even more lol )

But seriously , Dogs and animals in general i believe are higher up the evolutionary scale than us ... look at them , they are honest , telepathic , only ever work on instinct , have no fear ( unless abused ) and are bottomless pits of love and affection. This to me is a very advance being .. more so than us. We have lots to learn from them.

I learned from my Dog the following

    unconditional love
    richeousness
    instinct
    playfullness and exersise
toilet training ( my dog went to our toilet when the back door was closed lol )
    LOYALTY ! ! !
    patience
    caring

I miss my puppy . . . you are blessed to have another life together , make every day count .. and heal that knee with love from YOUR heart ; 0 )

Been about 6 years now since Bubba and Fuzzy left this reality. Incredible emotional connection. I shed at least a tear or two whenever I think of them, which happens almost every day. I had a dream that Fuzzy was back and I woke up in tears. Wish I could find him, or he could find me.

But maybe they are waiting for me in their reality.Attachment 21543

We started a new tradition on a cold drizzly January morning back in 2000, when I awoke to find my old dog friend Murphy of 15 years stiff and cold in her bed. After burying her in a hole wet with rain and tears, and informing close family members, we headed down to the nearest SPCA dog pound, because it turned out Monkey had been waiting for us. She was the only dog not mindlessly barking, just sat there looking at us like: "Please take me home now". Turned out it was just in time too, as she was at the end of her adoption window, and was scheduled to be put down in just a couple of days.

Since then we've said goodbye to another, and come right back home with another who also needed to be taken home. Both of our newer ones came from abusive homes.

Now at 14, it's very close to the time to say goodbye to Monkey. We're likely going to have to put her to sleep soon because her cancerous tumors are becoming so out of control she's actually starting to gag and choke on them. Hopefully that can wait until we move into our new house out in the country next month, so she can be buried at home. After that, it's going to be time to find out who our next family member is, patiently waiting for us to come and take them home.

I don't doubt that dogs reincarnate any more than I do humans, and if the same one needs to come back to the same family then that's what needs to happen. That's also really cool!!! Then again, if we are all truly one spirit in the larger sense of things, then a new dog all together is simply another aspect of that one continuous spirit. Either way is absolutely perfect, as the Universe has a way of giving us ALL, man and animal alike, exactly what is needed.

    Have fun with Boomer/Finnegan ShamanicShredder.

    Cheers,
    Fred

Your best friends in life are the ones you don't plan for.

On another note, does anyone think a cat soul can be incarnated in a dog? I swear my little beagle pup acts like a kitty! He swats with his paws and tosses his prey into the air and just plays with it before eating(recently the cicadas). It's adorable and quite humorous at the same time.

Quote Question to Metatron: Pets often become family members, like children to their caretakers. And when they pass over, the caretakers are quite devastated. Can the same soul essence of the pet reincarnate immediately, if the owner obtains a new pet?

AA-Metatron: The 'personality meld' of the pet is in essence a unique part of the human caretaker, a personality fragment. When a pet physically dies the meld-fragment consciousness will absolutely remain close-by in etheric planes to continue in connection to the human.

The human is often able to sense, even see or feel the essence of the pet after it passes over, or even if it runs away or is lost. The owner can communicate with the meld personality essence, and it will indeed 'reincarnate', re-enter the body of a new pet. This is best if the new pet is obtained within 2-3 weeks of the passing, and is the same breed as the previous pet. In a short time the distinct personality traits & characteristics of the previous pet will clearly re-emerge in the new body, and the relationship and support will continue.

In the event the new pet is a different breed and or a different astrological pattern, the similarities may not be as immediately apparent, but the meld-essence and support will be the same source. This is important to understand.
That's where i was looking for

Been about 6 years now since Bubba and Fuzzy left this reality. Incredible emotional connection. I shed at least a tear or two whenever I think of them, which happens almost every day. I had a dream that Fuzzy was back and I woke up in tears. Wish I could find him, or he could find me.

But maybe they are waiting for me in their reality.
Sounds a lot like I feel about my dog, rmauersr. I haven't dreamed as much about anyone as my dog (that I remember).

I felt like I betrayed the one who loved me unconditionally, it was a long time ago and I was ignorant and selfish.
I wasn't there when my dad brought him to the shelter and he told 'Wolfie' to go with the Kennel assistant. They might have put him to sleep.

I hope that I can meet him again someday (whatever form he may be in) and make up for my mistakes.

Over Easter I lost my little dog. He had been very ill and I would not have had him suffer any more than he did. I always felt that he had found me, and I adopted him when he needed a home. He was the sweetest little dog and I miss him dreadfully. When people ask me if I will have another dog I reply that I am not planning to, but if one finds me and needs a home, who knows, I'll probably have another one after all. So, if you cannot decide just wait and see, maybe he/she will find you.

    PS Finnegan is adorable!

From what I've been reading online I think it could definitely be possible. Your Beagle sounds very cute. Does he by any chance act differently around cats than other dogs?

Benimal, it was very uplifting to read about your experience with your dog. In June of 2018, I posted about the awful experience of losing our beloved cat, Fluke.

Now, I'd like to tell a happy tale of what I believe is being reunited with Fluke. Yesterday morning, our daughter brought home a 3 months old kitty that a friend of a friend was moving away and wanted to give to the Humane Society. Our daughter agreed to bring the kitty home. The kitty initially hid in one of our bedroom. After about 30 minutes our daughter found him hiding in a room and brought him out, I started petting him and we bonded instantly. He exhibited all the behaviors that Fluke had. These are all the behaviors that Fluke used to do that the new kitty repeated:
    • Lay down by my feet - Fluke is the only cat I've known who did this
    • Lay in front of the refrigerator (the original refrigerator push out warm air whenever the compressor ran, which Fluke enjoyed. Our new fridge doesn't push out warm air anymore)
    • Lay on top of the couch backrest in the family room
    • Play catch my finger through the bottom of a door
    • Play catch my hand through the bottom corner of a bedspread
    • Really vigorously scooping up the litter, often spilling it onto the floor
    • Sprint fast across the floor
    • Run for cover and hide under the bed when a doorbell rings
    • Loves to sleep next to me, wherever I happened to be
    • Often follows me around the house, much like a dog would do
    • Obeys verbal commands from me to get off the table
    • His gait is the same as Fluke's (sort of like what a lion would do)
    • He moves his tail constantly, I've never seen other cat do this
All of the above behaviors were exhibited within 24 hours of the kitty arriving at our house. I've heard that initially new kitty is stressed upon entering a new residence and often hides the first day. My wife rescued Fluke in the middle of September of 2007. Yesterday was middle of September. Whenever I look into the kitty's eyes, I feel the old energy/spirit of Fluke. Fluke always had the intelligent, inquisitive look in his eyes.
