Sky News host Caleb Bond has taken aim at the “totalitarianism” of a Brazilian Supreme Court judge ordering an investigation into X owner Elon Musk.

Elon Musk faces an investigation over his refusal to take down some accounts on X.

“It’s totalitarianism,” Mr Bond said.

“It’s the same as controlling the media – social media is another form of media.

“When the government starts dictating what can and cannot be said, you have no free speech – when you have no free speech, you have no other rights.”

Here's Freddie Sayers from UnHerd outlining his company's recent travails with a government funded group called the Global Disinformation Index (GDI) and some background on Claire Melford - a founder of said organisation - with her own WEF bio, along with a Daniel Rogers who previously worked in the US intelligence complex. GDI is redefining disinformation as "adversarial narrative", and they employ both a human and AI methodology to intercept sites that they deem to be 'dangerous'. It's impacted on UnHerd's advertising revenue. Really the GDI is a British company and is effectively a fact-checker on steroids.
