That music sounds like the William Tell overture...

Love it when he says, "What, is it a million dollar cow?" in response to the outrageous cost of a little six ounce steak.

I'm with him that the greed in this world has surpassed all reasonable limits. No one deserves 1000% profit for anything!

I've played with these motors myself. They are a puzzle. I remember when I was studying for my electrician's exam, I compiled a list of fifty different motors and their characteristics. I also went deep into the motor/generator effect and the mathematics behind it. I knew way more about electrical equipment than any other electrician. That's why I am the king of troubleshooting!

On the frequency side, electricians know nothing about frequency. This is because in the world there are really only two or three frequencies in extensive use - 60, 50, 24. Never been involved with the 24 Hz systems. I did some work in Timmins Ontario a decade ago, retrofitting the lighting in an ore processing plant. We changed out the ballasts in the lights with electronic ballasts pumping 240 volts at 50,000 Hz! Each ballast could power two lights so we were instructed to just run two single conductors free air to the second light with no protection (conduit or other means). I refused to do it because in my training this was unsafe. The boss was a good friend of mine and he had an electronics background. He took me aside and ran the math by me to explain why 240V @ 50,000Hz has virtually no current in it and is therefore safe. It took a while to get it through my head and bypass my extensive training and study - but he was right. At high frequency the current is in the milliamp range or less and is almost perfectly safe to handle.

As a matter of fact, I would not believe his argument or the math until he finally just walked over and grabbed two ends of a live ballast and held the bare wires in his hand for about ten seconds without any deleterious effect. Strange...
