I didn't SEE it vanish, it just did. I look up from my iPad, and no spoon. Couldn't find it either. I'll ask my husband if he took it away. It was a unique spoon so if it's in the drawer where it belongs, I'll find it.

A few nights ago, I came in the bedroom, saw a metal screw lying on my side of the bed. Picked it up, put it on the bedside table. Then I sat down. Felt a metal lump under me, stood up, nothing there. Nothing.

I think the matrix is glitching lol.
Aw Mike! I'm going to try again with my eyes closed.

And yes, hubby took the spoon away. That just leaves the time weirdness with the screw...
    Gertude, is that you?
I don't think so... <looking sideways, askance at Selkie shimmering into her seal form... >

Just a little anecdote here if I might be permitted.

I spent my entire life working construction. I grew-up in a general contracting family. So, I'm no stranger to the cruder side of reality, it goes with the territory.

Often, in years past, when I might go out to a bar looking for a date, I would make sure I had a screw in my pocket. It was my silly way of breaking the ice. I would gently place the screw in some lovely vixens hand and ask her, "wanna?"

Perhaps, Sierra, your husband was leaving you a subtle hint.

You had me busting a gut. No, my husband is not the most subtle guy when he's randy, but it doesn't bother me in the least because he is also a funny, polite, and romantic man.

    Dear All,

I realized that this thread might be needed. Or, if not needed, at least it might be fun.

Here's how to bend spoons (and forks!). I am serious.

You 'talk' to the spoon (telepathically), and enlist its support. There reaches a point when the spoon says "Okay, do it now". You then apply the slightest pressure, and it kind of melts, like soft wax. But there's just a window of a second or so. If you miss it, it won't work after that. Once you get that knack, it's very easy.

    Ok to use an interpreter?

So, the key isn't forcing, imposing your will on an object..but to harmonize with it's field/structure?

This brings me to another question: I believe that everything has a consciousness..so crystals/stones etc. are "alive" at some level..but it's hard to picture the same with knives,or forks, or other household appliances..how should I visualize to make this kind of connection..to everything?

It's not 'visualization' /imagery in the way that you might suppose. That is, you don’t form an image in your mind/self and then impose that view/form – whatever it may be – on the object/subject of your attention.

You must connect first, on the object/subject’s own terms, then relate, then re-imagine.

It is more a question of receptivity; of ‘feeling’ what the object/subject really is about. What it’s made of, in its own terms, in its own description as your own mind ‘feels’ or senses this. Follow that, just flow with it, however it seems to you. Trust your own experience.

And, yes, some of this may feel ‘flukey’, unexpected or curious. Just go with it. Drop your preconceived notions of what the object is about or what it is composed of and simply listen…. Listen and feel what it is telling you, without prejudice (pre-judgment).

Link into that. Drop your own ideas. Reach and learn.

When you have established some true rapport – and you will ‘know’ this – your entire body will confirm, relax, lock onto the signal – however you want to describe this – but you will know, then you can gently manipulate this energy field. At that point, you can visualize/feel your preferred outcome.

It is subtle work. But no less powerful for being so.

    Cheers,

    Selene

Our instructor asked the students to talk to the spoon in the same way you would give a command your dog. Say "bend" when the spoon got warm from rubbing.

I'm sorry; I've neglected to answer this in more detail.

Yes, everything has a consciousness, a personal field, an energy signature.

Everything you can experience here is ‘alive’. Truly.

What is wonderful is that the spectrum, the range of aliveness, is so far beyond our ordinary expectation or experience. What we need to do is listen and learn more carefully.

Everything is truly new. There is always more.

    Cheers,

    Selene

"how should I visualize to make this kind of connection..to everything?"

My current practice is whole body awareness. Because I’m holographic every part of me works together rather than only visualization from mind and/or pineal.

I find it works best when I'm not in mind in those nano-seconds of experience. The mind trips me up into non-belief and anchors me in this reality that we've been entrained to believe and live.

The whole body senses, feelings, knows. I pay attention to all it’s sensations and signals; stay open and in the flow. From another perspective, everything is ‘my’ world and I am everything. Which is why whole body, the seen and unseen fields work in unison with 'out there'.

I’m open to the cues and move with intention all at the same time rather than in linear fashion. It takes practice. It’s a work in progress.

And then the mystery of how 1000 ton stones can be stacked high in a pyramid structure, next to several other 1000 ton stones which fit together where you cannot even slide a piece of paper between them, and they are perfectly smooth, goes away. Not done with chisels and fork lifts, that's for sure.

I think maybe this is one thing about the pyramids that is not too mysterious. When you see what a hundred kilos can do to a sofa in a hundred seconds, you would expect thousands of tons sitting for thousands of years on a given stone to have left their imprint.

Which leads me to an intriguing thought. Why is the spoon classically chosen as the utensil to bend? Is it a symbolically suggesting that one needs to be 'spoon' fed into mysticism?

Forgive me for replying to my own post but I have another thought.

Perhaps spoon bending is a reflection of going beyond spoon feeding to no longer needing to be fed (lies), symbolized by the bent spoon.

The dispelling of illusions whether they be ones created by the MSM or ?

The world looks quite different (bent spoon) when what was once thought of as the truth is finally seen as a mirage designed to deceive.

At the recent Avalon meetup, new member moosette took us by surprise by psychically 'sticking' a dime to a smooth (and very vertical) door. That generated a high degree of interest and excitement from everyone who witnessed it — and a high degree of skepticism from our in-house physicist Intranuclear, which was hilarious.

Various folks tried to replicate the feat, the most successful being Sunray, who did it with a penny (which is apparently a little more difficult as it's easier with a coin containing silver). That stayed on the door, seemingly suspended by nothing at all, defying gravity all on its own, for hours.

Others have photos of moosette's dime, but here's my photo of Sunray's penny. The bottle of water is just to show which way is up (and down!).

And here's one of moosette's bent spoons:

    * I'd originally intended to offer a fun spoon-bending tutorial, but for that, we needed spoons. So I borrowed a bunch from the café downstairs, but was busted when security came up to our room — smiling broadly! — asking me please to have them all back.

So that's where moosette stuck her dime to the wall instead. She later quietly bent her own spoon twice, while we were all talking about something else. (I had one, too, but failed to bend it at all: my excuse was that I was too tired by then, as it was the morning of the meetup Day 3. )

    Neat thread!

I totally endorse the Bill Ryan spoon bending method. A few months ago, my wife and I were sitting around home bored and decided to try spoon bending. Not sure why, but it’s what came to mind.

She is a surgeon by trade, and a very meticulous, logical, sort of person, so with her leading the process, we spent a half hour or so trying to heat the metal in the spoons using our thoughts. Not very effective, but if anything should have worked, it ought to have been that.

I suggested before putting our silverware away to ask the spoon if it would like to change its shape for us, and if so, to let us know when. We didn’t have any luck for quite a while again, so we more or less gave up. A little bit later, I felt like my spoon was ready, so I went over to the counter and pretty much effortlessly bent it into a little square shape. She didn’t have any luck, but kept trying for another few days! It was quite amusing, considering her rationality.

It’s worked for me the other couple times I tried since then. It’s a very short period when it will bend, and when it does, it’s like the consistency of warm plastic - almost - just without the heat.
