Its gone from smelling funny to sounds like a robot himself now. Echoing one of the comments lets hope he does 'authenticating' with a select all traffic lights not a biometric q-code stored in your brain ...exaggerated for humour... Hoping for something unobtrusive.

I think he just means excluding/filtering all the bot and AI traffic from Twitter. In other words, only humans can post. Surely a good thing?

Yes, it has been said it might just mean some unobtrusive captcha, I am holding out hope, but I don't assume so. His other hobbies include wanting to put a chip in peoples brains so I will brace myself just in case it's centred around tracking, but if it's not anything like that then I'm very happy about that

Who anointed Musk the messiah, savior and arbitrator of left/right, right/wrong, good/bad ... ? Is what we are witnessing simply an expression and substitution of one tyrannical oligarch for another?

My gut feeling is that Musk is a part of the problem and definitely not the solution. Twitter will now be welcoming back the movers and shakers and 'influencers' that were expelled or have moved onto other platforms like Gettr Gab etc.

It'll be marketed as to bring back the 'freedom of speech' but the reality is to quash it's competition. Musk isn't a billionaire by accident he is a part of the cabal that wishes to control and subjugate.

Venting anger via social media means less people take to streets - Bread and Circuses n'all that.

serpentza is someone who I used to follow on youtube while he was living in China (he no longer does). He is insightful and worth listening to.

A summary of this video: Elon Musk's second biggest market for Tesla cars is China, and China may have access to raw materials that will help him with making more batteries. Therefore, it follows that Elon Musk may be leaned on to use twitter in ways that benefit the CCP.

Elon Musk's morals will surely be tested hard over the coming months!

IMO, this will make or break the man.

With so much unrest in that country and possibilities of more catastrophic flooding, I think Musk would do well to just get out of there, as so many

How many become billionaires and then invest their wealth in the media corporations? To name a few:

• Jeff Bezos - He started Amazon in 1994 and attended his first Bilderberg Meeting in 2011. In 2013 he bought the Washington Post from Donald Graham. Graham and his parents Phil and Catherine Graham are all Bilderberg regulars. During Bezos ownership WaPo published numerous fake stories driven by the globalist agenda about Russia trying to take down the U.S. power grid and a list of 200 news sites that are "in cahoots" with Russia.
  
  
• Carlos Slim Helú - from 2010 to 2013, he was listed as the wealthiest man in the world. He kept ailing lending the ailing New York Times large sums of money and eventually became it's largest share holder. If "fake news" can kill, the Times is probably histories greatest fake news murderer. It published numerous fake stories authored by Judith Miller about Iraq having biological weapon, which helped get the Bush Administration to launch the 2003 war in Iraq. The NY Times isn't the only organization responsible for the murder of about a million Iraqis, but it is certainly one of them.
  
  
• Ted Turner - made massive amounts of money in the 1960s and 70s in advertising. In 1978 he founded CNN, which is probably the CIA's greatest Operation Mockingbird asset.

So, it seems for some billionaires, that if they have been allowed to make lots of money, they have to return the favor but supporting media outlets that lie to the public about how globalist concerns are stealing away the wealth of nations. Perhaps in the 20th century, making money was an important priority for media companies, but now, disinformation is the higher priority, which you can only do if you have the public trust, which many media moguls are happy to do and squander their reputation away. These billionaires are basically the sugar daddies for liars.

So, since September 2021, Musk has been the world's wealthiest person. Hard to believe since I know no one who owns a Tesla. But unlike other young billionaires (Bezos, Gates (well, now he is 66), Page, Brin), Musk has a certain charisma, he's an outsider, a rebel, smokes pot on-air with Joe Rogan (let me guess the CIA masterminded that idea). He is exactly who the secret dark powers-that-be should select to promote as "the billionaire you can trust."

So it Musk going to allow Twitter users freedom of speech, or is he going to censor information under the pretext of protecting the public? I do think he will remove many of the censorship restrictions and, at least for a while, permit much more freedom of speech.

However, I don't think censoring stories about government and corporate criminality, and about globalist agendas, is the only one at play here.

- It's about getting you to express your true feelings about what is wrong with the world. This way, those who are putting forward these criminal agendas can collect data about how the populace is responding, seeing how much more criminality they can tolerate, know when to ramp up or back off their attacks against humanity, figure out what language is being used and find ways to rebrand last weeks evil agenda.

- It's about dividing the world and pitting different groups of people against each other, especially "the left" and "the right". I think the idea was to divide the world between "liberal"/censored/"protected" social media like Facebook and Twitter and drive truthers, anti-globalists and conservatives (all lumped together as "the far right wing") onto Gab, Gettr and other places. But that didn't really happen that well. People still value their friendships and family relations even if they have a different ideological outlook. Perhaps if Twitter loosens the reigns of censorship, that divide will now happen?

Regardless, I am extremely skeptical that Musk is buying Twitter just because he loves humanity and wants to set it free!

Perhaps Musk is not buying Twitter out of love of free speech and humanity, but the newly minted US Ministry of Truth is taking no chances. They seem to be stoutly supporting the "safe speech" rather than free speech on media platforms.

I think many good people here, are so conditioned to suspecting evil in the wealthy, that they overlook the well meaning people.

I knew a brilliant engineer and inventor, he didn't care about money, because he knew that his creativity was all that's needed. The likes of billionaires like Gates and Bezos grift and monopolize desperately to create more wealth for themselves. IMO Musk is the former.
