She is also a freelance book editor and a human rights activist who advocates for Iran’s independence and the right of Iranians to self-determination. The book is unavailable. There was only a limited first run printing and not enough of that to make it into second hand stores or the usual book archival libraries.

It's interesting to think about this topic in light of what Sarah Adams shares in her work. I wonder sometimes, with all the focus on "critical thinking" if that's a bit too narrow. I think it may be more valuable to have deep contextual thinking, in fact, I'm not sure one can think critically in the absence of how did Goethe attributed to have said, "the experience of 3000 years", deep contextual thinking.

For example, when Sarah Adams talks about terrorists, and I think she is a rock solid source of information, does she understand the historical contexts of this going back 50 years, 100 years, and even centuries. The various frames shift the nuance of understanding.

If the CIA was involved in the hijacking of the Iranian People's movement and made deals with Khomeni back in 1979. (A coup within a coup). And if Iran, Iraq and Syria made deals with each other on the pipeline running in the region, as mentioned here. Then, the convoluted historical back channels sets up more nuance that even some of the most well informed may find difficult think about.

If one also takes into consideration how China has historically used disinformation as a means to expand it's own empire.

Not to mention the relationship of all of this with drug cartels, who have leap-frogged their previous masters to become players in their own right.

And the red-thread of CIA and other background, behind the scenes, intelligence agencies co-mingled throughout it all.

To give even a fraction of this consideration when thinking in terms of current events unfolding among almost countless factions, it almost demands deep contextual thinking.
