Thanks for this. Even when she did her sitcom, Roseanne was a hero for me and her humor was extremely subversive, at least where I came from. Grew up in a household with an authoritarian figure who absolutely hated Roseanne, who couldn't stand sarcasm, who couldn't appreciate the fact that Roseanne was a woman who showed her love to her children by adapting to their needs. She helped me overcome the MK-ULTRA mind control that was being enforced at the household level.
