It was France that scupperd the MAI treaty back in 2000. The relief was only temporary however, as the treaty was rebranded as GAT4 (I think) and implemented with the assistance of the puppet Blair.

Bravo France for standing up to this treaty, let's hope it won't just be deferred and renamed like MAI.

I'll believe that someone is TRULY standing up to the USA when a country, or countries, kick the US military off their land. I'm not holding my breath.

    Joseph Farrell's take:

We are playing a virtual reality game, of duality. In the game of choices, align your choices with your ideals. Everything is whole, complete and perfect. Even yourself. Love is the power to change/create.

What we feel about America lately (at least the people that are thinking a little), is that Europeans have been too kind with America. Europe and America have holded very close relations for quite a while now, and we feel like America has done nothing else than profiting of Europeans.

Americans have been in a power trip for quite a while now, while profiting a lot of European economy since the second world war, all we've received in exchange is American veto for all the decisions Europe wanted to take internationaly.

While Europeans have helped America to develop a lot in the last 60 years, America has done nothing more than trying to block and overpower us, thus staying close allies since Europe remains the biggest power of the world so far.

So I think most Europeans are tired of America's attitude, always putting itself on the show for the good part and trying to hide behind us for the bad part.

Russia is probably not better, maybe a little Jaleous of Europe-America's relionships, but I think it's time for Europeans to turn the other way around towards Russia whose politics seems much more meaningfull.

Maybe this shift is the reason why England is on the brink of leaving Europe?

By the way, I begin working in a Russian company on monday As a logistic employee, I hope it will turn all right.
