Venus opposition to Moon Activates the Neptune/Node Square
    https://angstoic.com/2020/12/venus-opposing-the-moon/

"So, this NEPTUNE squaring the NODES is really turning our affairs into nightmarish situations and now, with VENUS opposing the MOON, highlighting where we’re most vulnerable to dogmatic hypocrisy and delusion; prone to suffering from our own little ‘reality’ projections and filters, as well as from the choices and actions of those who are similarly under the influence.

The Moon and Venus completes the perfect T-Square along the Nodal Axis, currently squared by Neptune.
It can easily turn already shaky relationships into a freaking mess.

The emotional uneasiness turns those who are most sensitive almost belligerently defensive, especially when they assume that others are out to get them. Messy disputes, both at work and at play abound, and over what, who knows?

Just in time for the usual holiday fare – not -, you may feel a weird inner resistance against too much social or work gatherings. This reluctance to parté is caused by a passive or unconscious hypersensitivity to other people’s crap, which intensifies the level of stress and inner tension.

If others’ psychic garbage seeps into your ‘aura’ and thoughts at an unconscious level, this has the potential to mess with your general well-being. Forget sleeping. Unless you pick up on what’s going on and take action to shut out or release any intrusive energies, you could end up feeling psychically attacked, and that’s going to feel awful and twisted for days.

Focusing on your meditation or other forms of self-therapy is most ideal, especially leading into Wednesday’s Full Moon…"

    CANCER FULL MOON

    https://angstoic.com/2020/12/cosmic-...cer-full-moon/

"The next two lunations, featuring Chiron (squaring the Cancer Full Moon) and Pluto (conjunct the Capricorn New Moon) are very telling, stirring new questions which will dominate some of the major themes of 2021.

Jupiter/Saturn in Aquarius is asking: What stories about our intersubjective reality have become outdated and untenable in this moment of awakening to the possibilities of the quantum field? Uranus squaring from Taurus will continue to challenge any official narratives coming from the status quo with support from Mars as he finally moves out of Aries.

Chiron squaring this Cancer Full Moon is asking: What is the wound story that you need to release in order to take the leap into 4th-dimensional quantum awareness?"

    "Greetings Fellow Travellers,

With the Cancer Full Moon on the penultimate day of the year, 2020 ends much as it began. Like bookends, these bright lunations repeat a stern, sobering message that we must examine our whimsical, infantile attachments and bravely step up to meet a new set of duties and responsibilities to society.

Yet, this has been a difficult year and many of us are exhausted, left uncertain as to where our societies are leading us. We question many things, but mainly whether our needs will be supported and if indeed, as mature adults, we will have anything of value to contribute.

If the Moon rules Cancer, the sign of her dominion, then it stands to reason that we might feel more sensitive and vulnerable to everything around us, clutching for the safety and emotionally nurturing elements in our world. Generally, the Moon’s monthly entry into Cancer - the crowning phase of her own cycle - activates our instinctive need to let our hearts be drawn to that place, those things, people who nourish us with the warmth and tender nurturance we need. It’s what defines our humanness, our connection to the primordial matrix, the motherliness and the sweet-smelling bosom of her loving providence.

However, with Venus on the South Node squaring Neptune, It can easily turn already shaky relationships into a frightful mess. Any degree of emotional uneasiness turns those who are most delicate and susceptible to annoyances to act defensively, almost belligerently, especially when they assume that others are out to get them. Messy disputes, both at work and at play abound, and over what... who knows?

Some conflict of interests is always to be expected around Full Moon time. It is a time when we are faced with the disparity between our instinctive, unconscious needs and our more conscious, decisive selves. We see a soul torn by inner/outer conflict playing out, projected in our present-life dramas, our most intimate interactions with others, in which we often see ourselves alternating roles. Full Moons coincide with flashes of intense awareness, when energies pull apart and we are often required to make critical decisions of the most personal kind.

On this Cancer Full Moon, take some time out, contemplate the way forward for you. Focusing on your meditation or other forms of self-therapy is most ideal. Decisions made or abjectly avoided can have long-lasting consequences. How will you choose?

Be guided only by your inner light and intuition.

Trust it to show you the way, always

    through the fog of uncertainty or confusion;

    past the alluring sway and swagger of sweet temptation;

beyond the challenges of obstacle or enmity of foe

that life does often throw to test you in your way.

Feel your emotions follow gently, just behind you,

assuring that you're held, if should you stray.

Just learn to listen to your inner voice.

    It is your sacred spirit calling;

    your divine built-in GPS,

    keeping you always on track,

guiding you, without fail or distraction,

    helping you travel surely, safely,

every step forward closer to your true destiny.

Blessings to you, and thank you for an amazing year xx"

    SATURN/JUPITER v URANUS 2021: Snapping point
    https://angstoic.com/2021/01/saturn-...napping-point/

"Almost immediately, 2021 manifests as a series of relentless upheavals. Social and political systems that have prevailed for centuries, now on the verge of sudden collapse, become replaced by uncertainty and disturbance.

This is the spirit of the collective – what the people of today want on some level (whether conscious or not), especially the younger generations. All antiquated systems, established roles, fixed relations, age-old prejudices and ignorances become swept away. New structures become obsolescent before they are allowed to ossify.

Our transition from the Earth medium into the Air means that all which is solid is evaporating into air. It will not be easy to live in such a turbulent world, and it will become even harder to govern it.

Despite all the tension and chaos this year, the awakened being, both individual and collective must step up and make every sacrifice, risk every danger to adjust to a world in transition. There’s no opting out nor means for escape. The inner revolutionary knows that nothing – no morality, religion nor law that has come before can continue to stand in a divided field unless it is versatile enough to accommodate humanity’s need for constant change."

MARS squares with SATURN (Jan. 13)
    https://angstoic.com/2021/01/mars-sq...saturn-jan-13/

"By this time next week, the tone is completely bonkers. What’s the opposite of peace? You may already sense a sullen anger brewing as ambitions are thwarted, spirits dampened, struggles in relating to others, especially in partnerships and marriage.

It’s true, all this excessive austerity and self-discipline has interfered with the usually silly holiday merriments, and the pent-up frustration, delays and sexual tension are likely to manifest in physical hardship, violence, accidents, and broken bones, as MARS squares with SATURN in a fixed sign (Jan 13).

Something about the dirty, harsh and insensitive way these two malefics usually punk it out with one another when they’re cross that kinda has me worried, and I’m not one to worry.

Mars entering Taurus is a stubborn bull heading for Aquarius’ high-voltage electrified fence. Along with all the other transits (see last bus episode), I can see why they saved all the fireworks from last week and how they might ‘appropriate’ them.

    Stay supertuned…"

The Rebirth of the Sacred ‘Inner Parent’ – Capricorn New Moon at 23°13′
    https://angstoic.com/2021/01/latest-...ree+Newsletter

    "Greetings Fellow Travellers,

In just the first weeks of 2021, we begin to see how our lives, both personal and social, are immediately entreated to great upheavals and disruptions. Just as promised by the markers of our sociopolitical reality, Jupiter and Saturn entering Aquarius (Dec 2020), great change and reform are underway. Also, as we anticipate for later this month, squares to these from Mars and Uranus warn of strongly resistant energies to change, innovation and restructuring.

Although these may be experienced as a willful and destructive refusal to accept the inevitable, we must brace ourselves. For change must come and though it is never pleasant nor easy to make any transition from old to new, it is upon us now to come together and prepare ourselves for what lies ahead. In the dark of this moon, the coming lunation is an augury for a necessary death, which must occur before any new growth can take place.

On this Capricorn New Moon, a conjunction to the Hadean underworld ruler, Pluto, implies and conjures a moment of complete, cathartic metamorphosis. Our world must face its dark side and make the choice for a new life or death. Collectively, albeit symbolically, there is a need but also a mortifying fear to face and acceptance of a certain death of an old world order.

Pluto in Capricorn (2008-2024) says it is time to reconstruct the image of our patriarchy – the father as the spiritual guide to our evolutionary process as children to humanity – to integrate the masculine and feminine within and without and to reunite them into a divine oneness. This not only brings us face to face with our own limitations and mortality but with the possibility of constructing a higher consciousness as co-creators of our physical universe and beyond. The legacy we leave now and for future generations rests largely on how maturely and responsibly we all step up as parents, grandparents, respected elders and brave custodians of a dawning new age.

Hence, the great initiation augured here by this Hadean New Moon confronts us with the death of the old parent archetype, the clearing out of old systems and the inauguration into something completely new. The challenge here is to take up our spiritual heritage and to incorporate the higher consciousness (Sun) with the lower energies of the unconscious (Moon), and to recognise them not as opposite polarities, but as complementary forces which resonate as one into our everyday awareness. If Capricorn is about authority and control then under this Sun/Moon union, we must work out how and where to focus our intention on becoming whole. Any newfound authority must be based on wholehearted autonomy, rather than authoritarianism and control.

At the entrance of this Cosmic Initiation, now approaching the cusp of Capricorn/Aquarius, we are lined up, ready to become baptised into the commencement of a new evolutionary cycle. Pluto in Capricorn signifies our struggles between an emerging new order and the preservation of traditional, entrenched economic and social structures.

The ‘old guard’, as it were, alone attempts to curate and commandeer this process by enforcing implementation of a new political and social system necessary to bring the Age of Aquarius underway. In the transition, we let go of old hierarchical structures and make way for a greater egalitarianism, transparency, cooperative innovation and global responsibility to take over.

The collective challenges upon us now are in finding ways to develop a revolutionary new approach to how we form a constructive, more collaborative world government, one that takes better care of our planet Earth, and to reach for a better understanding of how to harness the autonomous power of the stars. It is time for creating a cosmic interdependence for all people rather than continuing to squabble over the inequities of ‘independence’ through our dependency on the scarcity of material matters and secular affairs, as governed by the limitations of ‘old-school’ ruling individuals and nations, which historically have only created division and wars among us.

Here, we see the shadow side of Capricorn, which is strongly authoritarian, harsh and hypercritical, rear its ugly head. It is guarded, untrusting and afraid to give away any of its power. Consequently, it is quick to act against any suspected usurping of power or position. Without true social conscience and emotional maturity, Capricorn resorts to the unyielding execution of rules and regulations in order to maintain its rule. It quickly becomes a tyrannical dictator.

Hence, the New Moon in Capricorn threatens to burden us with a stern, harsh sense of guilt and social responsibility, as if the weight of the world is on our shoulders. We are forced to take matters very seriously indeed, as if possessed by a driving force toward stability and maintaining the status quo at all costs, toward seeking outward respectability and for getting things right in order to deserve approval. The New Moon’s square to Eris in Aries creates a monumental battle of this messianic mission from Capricorn to save the world from the auspices of death and insurrection, creating an archetypal scapegoat, either within the family, community or in the world at large.

Those who become our scapegoat for simply refusing to play along with the rules become blamed for all the ills of the world because they dare to go against the accepted conventions of society. In a moment of objectivity, we may see how this New Moon produces a stultifying and emotionally repressive atmosphere, one characterised by the terror of life vs death, scarcity of material goods, physical connectedness, threat of disease, impossible duty, or a deprivation of some kind. This deprivation may be emotional, intellectual, or physical,
and there is little heartfelt closeness in this lunation.

The preoccupation with social duty, preserving wealth, status and control only distances us from the affairs of the heart. This leaves us cold and neglectful to our family and makes our emotional connectedness to our community uncomfortable in preference to upholding the economic order and materialistic values. Yet, as we shall learn in the months ahead, these are barely worthwhile markers for the wholistic achievement of progress and success. To be coldly controlling, judgmental, fearful of expressing any emotion and overly cautious to trust life itself leaves us out of touch with any human emotions. This only generates shameful feelings about expressing any form of instinctive personal autonomy unless we play along with the strict boundaries and rules outlined by the prevailing patriarchal forces.

In the prelude to the great Aquarian lunations at the end of January and February and to the phenomenal alignments of the March Equinox (Astral New Year), this powerful lunation serves as a final warning that our healing must follow only after we can secure the material foundations for the preservation of life that has been laid down and carried out dutifully and diligently by all. Once this compliance to rules and structures has been achieved to some degree of success (and it can only come from within each of us) there will be a greater readiness to trust life and journey inside oneself.

And so, both internally and externally, there is a full-scale reconstruction of the parental archetype underway. As everywhere around you, somewhere within, the ‘inner voice of the paternal self’ is dying and becoming reborn. Those doubts and fears instilled in you through childhood must now be brought up to the surface to be explored. Any residual notions of a coldly rejecting archetypal parent are being rooted out and replaced by a new sense of self-worth and personal autonomy. On this intensely potent New Moon (Jan 13), we are called to develop the mastery of self-love. This will drive and generate a new, wholly steadier foundation for true emotional trust and freely spontaneous expression of our feelings in our world, providing us with a stable, responsible and more intrinsically authoritative approach to our currently unsettled situation.

On this New Moon, it is time to repose, collect your thoughts and innermost feelings and examine deeply in which areaa of your life you are experiencing this phenomenal urge for the resurrection of your inner parent

Blessings, and may you have an amazing New Moon x"

    Uranus goes Direct at 06°♉43′
    January 14, 2021
    https://angstoic.com/2020/01/uranus-goes-direct/

"Uranus – ruler of the skies, of new horizons, original ideas, of unconventionality and freedom from constraints is finally turning direct!
This wildly unpredictable force, responsible for breakthroughs and rebellions – both of scientific and ‘natural’ causes – has been stationing since late last year, intensifying his ‘awakening’ effect on all of us throughout the holidays and this current eclipse period.

Uranus turned Retrograde (Rx) on August 16, 2020. The retrogradation of any planet generally indicates that its principles are interiorised, with more subjective, internalised motifs. This is the second time Uranus has retrograded in Taurus since entering the fixed/earth sign on March 6, 2019. Uranus in Taurus is considered by astrologers to be in the sign of its fall (highest detriment), since rapid, progressive change is not a concept easily accommodated by the steadfast, most fundamentally conservative of signs. They do however share the commonality of obstinance and a determination to have their way, which is not necessarily an easy or positive trait."

Birth of a New Revolutionary Spirit – THE FORTNIGHT AHEAD (Jan 19-31)
ASTROLOGY OF NOW, The Week Ahead
    https://angstoic.com/2021/01/birth-o...ree+Newsletter

"Given the cosmic context, it would be hard to argue that our trajectory in affecting profoundly great reform into our lives has picked up considerable urgency in just these tumultuous past 2-3 weeks. As the Sun leaves Capricorn to enter Aquarius (Jan 19), both rulers Saturn and Uranus are now direct and heading for their first of three significant squares in 2021. It now appears that ‘Great Change’ is quite ominous, and I will endeavour to commence the discussion through the course of this generously intensive article.

To this effect, and in the prelude to the Leo Full Moon (Jan 28), we will see several planets come to lock horns through a series of challenging dynamic aspects to one another in the early degrees of fixed signs.

Also, most notably, Neptune tightens the square to the Lunar Nodes by Jan 24, indicating that we are likely to feel ultra-sensitive to everything and everyone around us. True empathy wears thin during this period, all humanity seems thin-skinned, highly vulnerable, slightly naive and easily fooled. The semi-square from Saturn (Jan 20) sees us feeling unsupported and misunderstood, even despondent. One might easily feel alone even in a crowd of their own peers. Puzzled by what’s going on; feeling creepily deceived constantly by those who should know better than to take us for a ride, perhaps it’s wisest to self-isolate. The semisquare from the Sun (Jan 23) only highlights how much our cherished visions for tomorrow now seem faint and out of touch with the current circumstances, so much so that in the tumult we may react ineptly, even in our own areas of expertise. It is indeed time to change tack, reconstitute our vision, as a Sun/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius takes form (Jan 24).

Jupiter’s square to Uranus also brings warning that we are squandering away too much of our good energy on nonsense, searching for meaning down the most absurdly twisted rabbit holes of convoluted theories. An approaching Mars will only agitate those reactionaries to act in ways which are misled, negative and destructive. The Jupiter/Saturn squares make the world more on edge. What it needs now is more positive revolutionaries, and if something needs to change for us to get more into the flow with what’s really going on, the key is definitely in the way we’re operating.

    Enter Saturn…

The likelihood is that Saturn’s dominance in scientifically progressive Aquarius will apply a severely sobering, if somewhat depressive, effect on wild Uranian and Neptunian abstractions. Some healthy scepticism is necessary. Uranus, whose Taurean viewpoint on life is fundamentally reactionary in nature, oftentimes rooted in a backwards-looking perception of a ‘return to a Golden Age’. Neptune, dignified in Pisces, attempts to unify, but under the Saturn’s scrutiny, any nebulous evasiveness is also about to receive a harsh ‘coming down to earth’.

    Jan 20
We may see the Mars/Uranian combination, responsible for a lot of the current dissent and insurrection, resistant to any force of discipline. It is wise to brace ourselves for any turn of events, and wherever your investments, be prepared for the worst possible outcome.

Of course, with so much agitation against the machine of progress, the prevailing Aquarius/Uranian energy asserts that there’s no predicting what might happen next. Anything goes, but one thing is certain – there will be no turning back the clock now. Those who pine for a return to the romanticised glories of a bygone ‘gilded age’, when things seemed more controlled, more structured and stable, will only come to realise that such a thing came only at the greatest expense to our freedom and ultimately to justice.

In fact, when one looks closely at our past, they will objectively discover that it is filled with tales of toil and suffering for all humans, largely due to their incredible ignorance about nearly everything. What appeared to be controlled and predictable can only be attributed to our conditioned fears and limitations around movement and growth, both mental and physical. Individuals were held steadfast to a system which imposed a wholesale resignation to unwritten factors like their inherent family lot, karmic patterns that were cast in stone, limiting social advantages, and the untimely and cruel auspices of death itself.

In truth, past humans lived in a world of little or no light. Justice was cruel and there was relatively little freedom. Freedom is our innate power to choose. Without choices, our individual capacity to enjoy the present moment (life) becomes diminished.

When our innate individual need for freedom is restricted, denied or misused, the result is always some kind of grief. Behind grief is always the immutable law of nature, serving to deliver justice. Justice is benevolent, constantly striving to preserve the inherent balance and harmony of the universe. Any abuse of freedom creates injustice.

Where there is injustice in nature, there is always violence.

Whether this violence is experienced physically, verbally, psychologically or emotionally, any human who is denied their fundamental liberty to be free, the ultimate outcome is always violence. To disrespect or deprive another’s right to be free is the greatest violence of all. There are many causes for violence, but violence which comes from injustice ultimately leads us to either a negative reactionary state of mutiny and insurrection or in a more positive state, a revolutionary release. When we look to the past, the limitation of choices available to humans meant that their entire personal identity was forcibly reduced to comply with strictly defined parameters, both socially reinforced and self-imposed. Limitations on freedom of speech and movement were shrouded by dark concepts of forbidden thoughts, emotions and physical acts. To rail against this implied that you would face a violent and untimely death.

Hence, prior to today’s humanism, where the individual will is celebrated, there was never any real ‘Golden Age’ as such – even for the ‘privileged elite’. Everyone had to comply by the will of exterior expectations and play their role accordingly, or suffer the consequences. Overwhelmingly, all human beings alive today emerge out of a history of immense restrictions, repressions and horrid brutality, thanks largely to the harsh 3D limitations of Saturn’s strict limitations of time and the gravity of physical matter.

Much of it was grimly endured as a protective guard against the substantive insecurities of life, and due to foreboding fears, grief and a widespread ignorance to science in favour of religion, humans formed a personality complex that was typically superstitious, afraid to fully relax and inwardly insecure to the degree of contracting untimely nervous collapse, emotional disease, physical death and decay. This was the world of Saturn.

    Enter Uranus…

Well, not until 1781, actually, when the first of these ‘invisible’ planets was discovered by William Herschel using a revolutionary new invention called the telescope. The late 18th century was indeed a time when ‘revolutions’ were in vogue (American, French, Industrial, Scientific etc). Of course, as we also discovered, revolutionary change, whilst it had the effect of accelerating the pace of human consciousness exponentially, isn’t always pleasant or easily admitted. In fact, sudden change was largely shocking and unwelcomingly disruptive to the Saturnian, fear-based structure.

Until we finally worked out how to integrate revolutionary changes more readily into our lives, say, as in those speedily administered tech-upgrades, made almost daily to our hand-held devices via wireless networks, we still stand to be disturbed and have our lives necessarily disrupted from the confounded recurring upgrades. Naturally, at some point, the ‘revolutions’, which now appear to occur not century to century, or decade to decade, or even yearly, but several times a week, have some degree of impact to our individual human nervous systems. If not able to keep up with the pace, these begin to play upon our health – mind, body and spirit. It stands to reason then that these convulsions are going to have a widespread effect on the greater social order.

We see these collapses now rampant, not just in poorly-managed systems of government and other institutions, whose existing infrastructure isn’t equipped to readily adapt to sudden innovations and unprecedented disasters, but in our own personal lives where we remain resistant to accepting even the slightest changes to our predisposed habits, practical skills and espoused belief systems, however, we may cherish them to stay predictable.

In the course of today’s great reformation, this moment brings us one thing: the opportunity to become rapidly aware that it is time to end this infatuation we have with clinging to false realities which, for the most part, we inflict upon one another due to our obsession with passing off unproven concepts as something which may helpful or soothing.

Whether our erroneous beliefs and half-baked laws spawn from our continued adherence to monotheistic religions, archaic constitutions or misinformed conclusions that we read on Twitter on the bus ride home, we can no longer assume to believe anything we hear as gospel or truth. When we pledge our adherence to the words of a biblical prophet, a supreme monarch, an authoritarian dictator, president, or public celebrity who is the anointed influencer of some intersubjective entity, to subscribe to any ideology which is exclusive and divisive only perpetuates injustice and deprives us of our human dignity and fundamental freedom.

Just as the ancients failed to stabilise their empires due to their inability to support the arbitrary existence of the gods of Olympus, or of ancient Egypt, or of Babylon, so too now we suffer the collapse and the humiliation of our holy cows. Not one of the hypotheses of past ‘Golden Ages’ seems any more probable than any other because they ultimately lie outside the region of the probable knowledge of today. Therefore there is no reason to consider any of them, other than to agree that these beliefs existed only in the absence of science, as a subsidy to what we could not know, at most serving to expose the enormous limitations of humanity’s endeavour to understand the greater forces of nature that were and still are largely seen to be ‘supernatural’.

If our lives need meaning so that we may go on living, then we are awakening, en masse, to the fact that we, as humans, tend to distort and manipulate what we often fail to comprehend in order to make it mean just about anything, just to appease ourselves.

Here, at this Jupiter/Uranus moment, we get a glimpse at how many of our difficulties in life arise when we haplessly attempt to solve serious problems by applying enduring superstitious attitudes and magical, wishful thinking. We see how, for the most part, our adherence to nonsense ultimately fails to work because it only perpetuates the suffering. We also see the toxicity behind those who dogmatically propagate false negatives as ‘truths’. They are not helpful or soothing, they are downright dangerous and culpable of causing great injury and harm. These are the lessons imposed throughout 2021, and in particular, made even starker by the recurring squares between Saturn and Uranus.

The first of these squares is heavily accentuated over the next two weeks, not least by the aligning inner planets which intensify egoic drives and desires, and by the triggering effects of the Sun & Moon’s dynamic aspects which, in the more critical phases of their synodic cycle (full/new moons) make the tension especially more personal.

The Trouble with Squares (90 degree aspects)

    Jan 21
Any square aspect between two or more planets suggests tension or challenges which necessitate some neurological adaptation before any resolution can be achieved. They generally indicate blockages within our individual psyche which prevent or refuse to accept things ‘as they are’, due to our tendency to persist with preferred or established patterns and pathways of behaviour. Hence, any significant squares pose immense hurdles and lessons that cannot be avoided – impending collisions or crises that must be confronted and, as frustrating as they are, continue to thwart and hinder our desired needs and intentions until their inherent lesson is grasped.

When squares involve the outer or more slower-moving planets, they generally imply individual tensions that are shared commonly throughout many other members of society. These are symbolised in both the known socio-political trends and beliefs (Saturn, Jupiter) and the yet unknown (Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Eris), which appear random, wild and wholly unmanageable due to their unpredictability.

When triggered, or activated by the inner planets and by critical phases on the lunation cycle, they highlight internal psychological problem areas – areas where we seem stuck, or unwilling to accept elements which conflict with our established ways. In an attempt to restructure our inner understanding, circumstances pose serious tensions in our mentality or emotions – a process which is vitally necessary in order for growth and progress to take place. These are especially difficult when squares take place with planets in fixed signs.

I will address the recurring Saturn/Uranus squares of 2021 in our next cosmic bus episode, and endeavour to unpack the significance of incremental changes as the year progresses. For now, let’s look at the current tensions as indicated by multiple squares occurring between planets in the two fixed signs of Taurus-Aquarius:

    Taurus vs Aquarius (Fixed Square)
Taurus is an earth sign, heavily invested or ‘attached’ in the physical assurances of materialism, steeped in established traditions and conservative attitudes while Aquarius, being an air sign is highly detached, strongly futuristic and progressive in ideas and concerned with egalitarian fellowship, communalism and group experience.

Thus, while the tension generated by squaring planets between these two fixed signs is easy to discern, conflicts encountered here serve to expose us with the materialistic and physical problems of society and how to allow everybody else to enjoy the same liberty of thought and action without compromising our own.

Taurus is rather possessive of its wares, so the tension posed against the accumulation of property and wealth by the egalitarian-minded Aquarius often thrusts us into enormous ideological conflicts concerning how to evenly dole out the land and its rich, buttery spoils of economic and commercial successes, as well as fairly distributing practical information and scientific knowledge so as to benefit everyone.

Here, we distinctly see how those more progressive-minded individuals and business enterprises, in particular, those whose models of governance and administration have made the flying leap by adapting more speedily, integrating radical innovations and employing cutting edge development via the latest infotech and biotech; through the use of extensive networking systems, computer algorithms, robotics and AI. As always, those who are most progressively adapted to the world of science and innovation are most poised to revolutionise the material world. The goliaths not only remain unregulated, but they now have the power to regulate and limit others, including governments and world leaders at the flick of a switch.

In the frenetic pace of innovation, we see the pushback by traditionalists, fundamentalists and those who seek to live a simple, uncomplicated life – one which seeks to be closer to nature, and with Uranus in Taurus is more interested in reverting to isolationist policies, return to a fabled ‘Golden Age’ or the wishful development of earth-based communities. These, in the ‘hippy sense’, seem unconventional but are nonetheless more intent to provide a solid and secure basis for living through self-sufficiency and ability to demonstrate an intuitive understanding of the earth and the progressive management of its physical resources.

Perhaps the lessons of the Taurus/Aquarius square lie somewhere in the integration and compromise between these two seemingly disparate values.

    The Great Leap Forward:

In the initial tensions posed by the Jupiter/Saturn’s dawning into the Aquarian Age, the conflict exposed by the January squares to both Mars and Uranus in Taurus highlight our need to resolve the dualities between our ideological and materialistic needs and abrupt separatist notions between two seemingly disparate tribes. These differences begin as irreconcilable, but must move beyond the lower analytical mind and reach that point where our awareness of unity is constantly realised – the point of consciousness of our dilemma. We will see this over the coming fortnight as the Sun enters Aquarius (Jan 19) and comes into alignment with these outer-planet squares.

Uranus and Saturn, being co-rulers of Aquarius are caught in a difficult polarity of energy interchanges, yet they present a vitalising force in the evolutionary struggle. As planetary rulers, they also indicate that the glorious ‘vision’ of Aquarius will not be achieved overnight, and in the early stages of this year, perhaps triggered by the Mars conjunction to Uranus (Jan 20), launch us into a tumultuous two-year period of resistance against progressivism and streamlined regulation of new-tech modernity.

These resistances, which come from every sector of every community, also act as counterbalances between too rapid a movement forward, or an insistence on denying change. Arguably though, they present the safest passage forward that can be achieved by humanity, especially when considering the depth of changes which are being conceived to offset dire global socio-economic problems due to pandemics and authoritarian governments and CEO’s. These include areas yet unpublicised, such as genetic development or mutations within the species, the awakening of areas of the brain, as well as collective social adjustments and planetary changes to climate control and the ‘fixing’ of economic vectors like the digitalisation of world currencies.

In an extremely complex year ahead on planet Earth, regulation and development will need to be carefully overseen by the planetary consciousness of Gaia herself. The natural balances are extremely fragile, and by our continued defiance and willful ignorance to ‘how things really are’, humanity’s unchecked negative habits and resistance to better care is seriously affecting our best efforts towards achieving true progress. We need to become wiser, more intuitively kind to one another in order to survive in a world of interdependence.

We must look towards the conflicts that are occurring in the difficult Taurus/Aquarius square, both in a personal and at a global level as a signal to be more practical and inventive. Perhaps this is also a call to consider the different methods of supporting not just ourselves in the most fundamental way – by finding solutions for revolutionising how the masses might be fed – producing and distributing healthy, organic foods in more sustainable ways. The current means of nourishing humankind may lead us to inadvertently ‘extinctify’ many other species, and if we do not raise the urgency to modify our consumer patterns, even cause great scarcity and starvation to many of our kind.

This one matter becomes of critical importance by the closing of 2021 and its the final instalment of these Saturn/Uranus squares. Hence, we can see how we, the people, are in for a series of life-transforming ‘revolutions’ and ‘system upgrades’.

Blessings, and may you have an amazing fortnight xx"

Bull in the China Shop: The FULL MOON at 09°06′ Leo
    Thursday, January 28, 19:15 UTC
    https://angstoic.com/2021/01/bull-in...ree+Newsletter

"What do you get when you have the Moon opposite the Sun/Jupiter/Saturn in square to Mars/Uranus, all in fixed signs?

Not much flexibility, that’s for sure…

This Full Moon takes basic archetypal principals – energies that are endemic to the way we structure and experience our lives and pits them up against one another in a rigid, complex dynamic which is, in itself, stressful and inclined to force an event.

Under a fixed T-square, there is a notable lack of adaptability or willingness to deviate from established patterns enough to compromise our interests. Hence, rather than seeing ourselves objectively as entities caught up in rigid patterns of behaviour – ego-drives and the emotional complexes which house them are more likely to break rather than bend under any pressure to succumb to necessary changes.

The Aquarius/Uranus dominance of this lunation implies that there will be much emphasis on freedom and equality. When these are thrust against the self-centred Leo Moon – a largely unconscious need for attention and appreciation; to feel ‘special’ about something and to have fun – we immediately sense the tension as unfriendly, even hostile and threatening to something held as very precious. In today’s emerging awakening of our individual sovereignty and humanistic self-importance, the individual seeks greater command over its own needs and desires and develops either resistance or resentment to being told that he/she must “fit in”.

We are, however, very much a part of a social order, a community or at least a family system which is made up of a set of tribal or customary expectations. Whether these are written in laws or culturally implied, we are expected to be somewhat compliant and respectful to the needs and wishes of those around us.

When the prevailing order, as set by the Aquarian Sun on the Jupiter/Saturn, is determined to remind us of values which are more about equanimous sharing and equilateral respect, the instinctive Leo Moon feels confronted and must either come to acknowledge these or feel left out in the cold by the seeming indifference. Those less-evolved types who cling tightly to their mistaken belief in their own hype or possess voracious susceptibility to flattery, react in most demanding ways.

Of course, we all feel this, since ‘the prevailing order’ is usually one which contradicts our own personal views and doesn’t cede to egotism without some degree of give-and-take. Here, the systemic problems of one-upmanship, control-dramas and undue competitiveness generate instances and episodes in which one or more parties are unwilling to go through the necessary self-effacement and compromise that a Full Moon often brings.

Egos are fragile things, and in a fixed Sun/Moon opposition, they are more likely to break apart than bend a little in an attempt to see eye to eye. The danger here comes from the square to Mars and Uranus which, under the normally placid sign of Taurus, can become unreasonably resistant to movement and change. This can be expressed as bullying or passive-aggressive behaviour. Under too much stress, planets in Taurus will shut down and refuse to budge. By its nature, Taurus is neither enamoured with the principles of ‘equanimous sharing’ or with ‘drama-queen displays’ around her rich, abundant paddock which she insists is hers and hers alone to commandeer as she pleases.

Taurus’ ruler, Venus, is enmeshed in a dark, compulsive union with Pluto who will stop at nothing to possess everything that adds status, wealth, power and control in any relationship. Hence, it only complicates the matter of fixity around ownership and control and Pluto’s corrosive nature is that it can destroy the soul of anything it tries to devour.

There are mitigating factors, for the Moon’s trine to Chiron in Aries lends an element of soothing empathy to all those who feel slighted or ‘wounded’, teaching them how to stand up for themselves and assert their individuality. Yet, this can only spark the fire of those who feel they deserve more. Whether they feel they are in the in-crowd or an outsider, it only emboldens the spirit towards some sort of resistance or a staunch determination to liberate oneself from any restrictions or expectations that do not pander to the individual’s need to feel loved and appreciated for their own ‘specialness’. The default is to have a temper tantrum, take one’s toys and recede back to one’s own sandbox, and the social complications these cause are too many to be listed here.

Overall, this lunation, heavily activated by the Mars/Uranus (intervention) and Jupiter/Uranus (lucky breaks) midpoints, unlocks the release valve to any built-up pressures stored in the body, mind and spirit, generating a precipitous moment of sudden, reactionary liberation, insurrection and even revolutionary storms. This may be triggered either internally (awakenings) or as a result of external pressures in one’s sociopolitical arena (upsets and disruptions).

There are many factors in our current lives which contribute to this dynamic....

Blessings, and may you have an amazing Full Moon xx "

Revolution#5 – For Those About To Snap: THE WEEK AHEAD
    (Feb 1-7)
    https://angstoic.com/2021/02/revolut...ree+Newsletter

"So… our Sun continues his epic hero’s journey around the zodiac, now in Aquarius. There will be many twists and turns along his luminous path through February, a month which will see many more revolutionary changes and reforms take place, both within and all around.

Of course, there will be much resistance and objection along the way too, for there are many who despise change, especially when under questionable or disagreeable terms. Leading into Thursday’s Last Quarter Moon, for instance, we are faced with further ‘fixed’ crises – the Scorpio Moon takes on the whole Aquarian stellium as she opposes Mars in Taurus.

Aquarius is an air sign, which means that it’s best to be more objective, stand back and view things from a broader perspective rather than just responding rashly or emotionally. For some of you fixed sign people (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio Aquarius), there’s a real war going on inside your psyche because in order to align with the presiding Aquarian qualities (objectivity, fairness, equanimity, humanitarian values, a common vision for the future, etc.) you must acknowledge, accept and manage powerful feelings and emotions, express them somehow without either denying them or being condemned by them. Here, the real revolutionary spirit takes hold because many will not be told what to do or how to handle their lives any more.

In the name of true growth and individuation, some of us have to move beyond a place of feeling stuck within the old constraints of materialism and authoritarian profiteering. Humanity is indeed stuck in limbo because of residual feelings of greed, control and power which, this week, take over and threaten to kill all those things we love (♀ ☌ ♄/♇). Until we conquer our ruthless obsessions, we cannot foster the kind of humanism that produces the innovative scientists, thinkers, or reformers who will help to ease the suffering on earth.

Mars’ square from Taurus means that our most conservative side will persist in holding its ground. This is made ever more obstinate with Uranus also in that fixed-earth sign. The socioeconomic obstacles and difficulties posed by these fixed squares become more extreme throughout February, as does the inner loneliness and sense of social alienation, much of it provoked by rebellious, resurgent energies manifesting as all kinds of irritability seeking release in our relationships.

At worst, we might feel it as a banishment. At best, it is can be seen as the perfect time to tear down defences and rejoin the human race. This may be easy to say because, for many, the road ahead is filled with either increased restrictions or blind insurrection and kicking against the pricks. Many, still resonating on their lower common instincts, are feeling increasingly shut down, disenfranchised and ready to rumble, as is the earth under their feet.

Mercury’s retrograde back over Aquarius will reveal where we might have reached a dead end in our own progress, or moved too fast and are now suffering reversals. There may be communication breakdowns, network collapses or system setbacks due to our unwillingness to ‘upgrade our operating systems’ or ‘get with the times’. Like a long wait in a dentist’s office or being stalled in some airport lounge for days, there’s the frustrating sense of having purchased our ticket but never quite getting off the ground. Patience is running out.

Mentally, the chronic, nagging issues (yes, let’s blame the pandemic) develop into upsets with how life is being officially managed. Incessant administrative and ethical dilemmas show how the Saturn/Jupiter (reach limit–> set new law/regulation) syndrome contributes to an ever-quivering mess in the mundane trade/economic system. Coupled with deprivation for freedom, this Aquarius stellium can indicate a continual battle to preserve mental health since people are less likely to listen and to connect with one another. For many, it is a sign that just ahead we each may have some personal “cross to bear”, one that – if not carried independently – becomes an unwilled obstacle to achieving relationship or communal ends (♀ □ ♅).

The Aquarian Sun asks that we work on developing our ability to view situations in a more detached or objective way. By Thursday’s Last Quarter Moon, the Aquarius Sun squaring the Scorpio Moon will reveal who is responding in a very cool, objective and detached way to those who need deep, tender emotional support. We may fail to realise just how touchy, triggered and vindictive those whom we are denying can become. These are indeed two sides of our psyche that this week must be addressed in a reasonable, objective and fair manner. It is never healthy to denigrate any part of ourselves, especially those highlighted by the critical quarter-Moon which is so vital to health, relationships, and emotional well-being.

The Aquarian Sun is in the sign of his detriment, so his customarily centralised source of authority and creativity tends to get dispersed equally among the herd, group, party regime, even audience.

Both Saturn and Uranus are the rulers of Aquarius, neither more true than the other. As the two giants approach their first major clash for 2021 (♄ □ ♅, Feb 17), the perverse Aquarian complexities become only magnified, thanks to the epic, mythic animosity its two ruling archetypes hold toward each other. Uranus, father of Saturn (Kronos), banished all his children to the underworld. Saturn later emerges to not only castrate his father but steal away his throne in revenge – a psychological engram which repeats as an inner conflict between the visionary ideals (Uranus) and hardcore reality (Saturn) in every Aquarian. Saturn himself would be warned that the same fate would come upon his own, as did indeed had when his own son Jupiter (Zeus) would one day depose him. These are the mythic perils of patriarchy.

Saturn creates forms and structures, presiding over the governance and productivity of the land, setting the immutable constructs which, over time, would define the changing seasons, teaching humanity how to obey the laws of nature in order to survive and flourish. Naturally, with so much being reset over the past year thanks to conjunctions to Pluto (Jan) and Jupiter (Dec), Saturn’s recent entry into Aquarius mandates there are many adjustments we all need to make in the form of regulations and controls, and with Jupiter leading the way, a new set of ethics and laws are being rolled out, especially in the world of tech and innovation. These don’t come easily in a year where co-ruler Uranus in profit-minded Taurus runs contradictory to change and reforms.

Aspects of our mundane lives appear to be crumbling despite our governing leaders’ insistence that there are no problems that they can’t handle. Many of us now come to accept collapses or setbacks so easily that they’re no longer surprising. Meanwhile, pleasures and good times might be delayed or denied (♀ ☌ ♄), allowing us the opportunity to alleviate the situation (♀ ∗ Ch) before it explodes (♀ □ ♅).

On the other hand, the pressure’s intensifying with no means of escape. Those who deny responsibility for, or knowledge of, any tensions, or who turn a blind eye to game-fixing or continued sociopolitical oppression, or those who accept that things are not right but stand back, unwilling to do anything about it, only invite further strife and discord. There will always be those, even in times of breakdown and devastation who will cling to the established structures and go with the status quo, ignoring critical warning signs, believing themselves to be untouchable or beyond reproach. Those are the ones who carry karma, project it onto everyone and pass it on to their grandkids

Then there are those who feel that disasters are certainly imminent, who are filled with anxiety, apprehension and panic. However dangerous, there is often more confusion and discomfort than actual emergency. If you resonate with the fear/dread factor, perhaps you are cleaning up the debris of some personal debacle. If not, you are holding back the tide of a disaster you probably know is coming, sooner than later.

When this is projected onto others, you may fear that they are the ones making trouble or deliberately causing upheaval. Perhaps you see them as angry and destructive. Alternatively, you might perceive them as dynamic, assertive, and excitingly dangerous. On a deeply personal level, this week can represent inner turmoil, chaos, or anger, or it can be a divine “kick in the butt” to shake us out of complacency.

Blessings, and have an amazing week xx "

    VENUS/SATURN – Karmic Love
    https://angstoic.com/2021/02/venus-saturn-karmic-love/
    2/4/21

"Venus rules our personal ‘power of attraction’ – the magnetic forcefield generated by our heart (the Sun) to attract people, things and experiences that may compliment or satiate our desire for harmony and pleasure.

Saturn is the ruler of the collective consensus and the administrator of karmic law. Whatever he touches is blessed with fated soul-lessons, experiences that crystalise into matter, manifesting as physical constructs which, through discipline and hard work, we come to earn or learn to forfeit if we fail to meet his tough measures and endure his limitations.

During their (approximately) one-year cycle, the things we love to have; things that add value and embellish our lives will come, but to keep them, they must be hard-won. They will press us to make sacrifices, put us through trials, they will ripen, even age us, and teach us lessons we shall never forget.

It’s a tough kind of love but, as always (with Saturn), the process becomes character-distinguishing. Key transits in their synodic cycle show us the value of those things worth working for, and they will highlight those things of which we best learn to just let go because either we or they are just too heavy or not up to desired standards.

“Nature wishes that woman should attract man, yet she often cunningly moulds into her face a little sarcasm, which seems to say, ‘Yes, I am willing to attract, but to attract a little better kind of a man than any I yet behold”
    Ralph Waldo Emerson

    Attracting Our Teacher
Around the conjunction at 05°♒54′ (Feb 06 2021), as if by seemingly preordained, cosmic intervention, something or someone enters into our world who would help us play out the karmic implications of this cycle.

This occurs by sending out idiosyncratic affections and predilections as magnetic pulsations (Venus), like transmitting personally nuanced ‘heart-wave messages’ to the universe, a call out to say that “this is what I desire”. Saturn then responds by crystallising our intentions from mere magnetic heart energy into physical matter. Things/people/situations show up as if to test/measure/evaluate whether we have what it takes to keep, acquire or relinquish that which will potentially make our lives more worthwhile and pleasurable. If we do not know, we will learn how to work to procure those things which are an important part of shaping our destiny, and if not, how we must eventually learn to let them go.

In typical Saturnian terms, whatever is entering our magnetic field is typically a materially transactional affair. There is often something pragmatic and practical that we must satisfy in order to qualify for the object of our desire (enough money, status, age, responsibility, capacity to hold and secure, etc). Saturn cuts tickets on Venus’ ‘love, peace and aesthetic sensibilities’. In short, he makes you pay a price in order to have something nice and like a middling merchant, procurator or pimp, continues to collect dues, gradually raising the bar on expectations, tightening the screws, until you eventually come to question whether you can afford to have it any longer. (*Wherever Saturn’s conditionalities and rules are applied, all will eventually come to a definitive end, and to this effect, it’s often when the ‘love runs dry‘).

    The VENUS/SATURN Cycle
The last VE/SA cycle commenced on Dec 11, 2019 at 19°04′ Capricorn. After 14 months, it is due to commence again on Feb 6 2021. Since Saturn is still in rulership through Aquarius, it would spell a year of strict appraisals on how well we can align to society’s new and progressive values, face judgements over how much we can comply to group-minded conscientiousness, while facing austerity and parsimonious positions over any frugality in aesthetic and materialistic pleasures. Social duties and civil responsibilities both in politics and love-relationships/friendships will come into question. Those bonds not meeting the functional objectives of a new society and the more traditional marriage partnerships will generally face a realignment in their outlook and style in order to maintain their cohesiveness. Tensions in meeting the strict criteria of our affairs are typically highlighted at the quarter (square) phases of the cycle.

Critical quarters (square phases) of last VE/SA cycle:

    ♀ ☌ ♄ Dec 11, 2019 03:06 Venus 19°♑04′ Conjunction Saturn 19°♑04′
    ♀ □ ♄ Mar 03, 2020 09:45 Venus 28°♈25′ Square Saturn 28°♑25′
    ♀ ☍ ♄ Sep 02, 2020 05:18 Venus 25°♋54′ Opposition Saturn 25°♑54’Rx
    ♀ □ ♄ Nov 19, 2020 04:29 Venus 27°♎26′ Square Saturn 27°♑26′
    ♀ ☌ ♄ Feb 06, 2021 00:08 Venus 05°♒54′ Conjunction Saturn 05°♒54′

As usual, only the most worthy, most dutiful unions and collaborations would hold ground, for under the pressure of Saturn’s most stringent conditions, as in the previous cycles (25 Dec 2017-18 Feb 2019, then to 11 Dec 2019, then to 6 Feb 2021), those who tried to engage or invest in ‘frivolous follies’ or ‘easy rides’ experienced either a year of unrequited love-suffering or became forced to endure an entire year of frustration/separations/delays or involuntary celibacy.

This first cycle to commence in Aquarius suggests that there is something scientific/technological, ideologically progressive, highly unusual or somehow futuristic about the bond. Aquarius isn’t terribly emotional or physical, and there is an element of interruptions or spasmodic expression. Venus in Aquarius prefers the coolness of friendship more than romance and attracts others into our lives with a refreshingly unconventional, possibly odd, yet openly friendly demeanour.

Those who cannot keep up the pace, or insist on more conventional or traditional styles of relationship may suffer serious disruptions. Venus also rules money and other things of value, so matters of acquisition, investment, or enterprises can either be borne anew or brokered in unusual new ways at this moment.

Be particularly aware of events developing on (or near) the conjunction between these two planets. Generally, they introduce the commencement of a new level of relationship between two entities which, at its most critical stages, forces us to slow down and experience the real merit of our current value system. More than anything, Saturn evaluates everything into shrewd economic terms.

Aquarian values are definitely less focused on the personal and leaning more towards the collective and humanitarian. The idealism and the utopian vision of this sign create a less emotional, more detached approach in all affairs of the heart. Money may also be made and lost through electronic and technological services as well as through friendship networks.

In any case, Saturn remains a harsh monitor and sets the bar on what it expects according to consensus trends. At the most critical times of this next cycle, we will be tested on how well the choices we make in our affairs meet up with the progressive spirit of the times.

Those who resonate with trending preferences will truly stand to know what love is all about in 2021. Those less capable of talking the talk, walking the 21st-century walk, could see the dawning of a greater sense of isolationism and feeling cut off from the mainstream. When we are inexperienced, feel inadequate, shy, fearful or insecure, we often develop unhealthy, immature yearnings for something that was perhaps not meant for us. Often we are out of place, or our timing is out, or we have to pass a few tests, earn a certain level of credibility, or come back with more cash, or the right qualifications before we can be even considered.

Sometimes we may need to accept that a thing of beauty cannot be possessed, but is best admired from afar, without attachment, shared equally so everybody may enjoy it. It has no function other than in its ability to make us smile, to ease our aching existential woes. Man’s constant craving to sequester, separate, close off and chastise the object of his affection by a series of conditions and contracts can crimp, crease and diminish Venus’ flow of keeping a connection to the abundance of love, the source where she draws her natural beauty. Sure, there are often lessons, karmic debts to complete, but at what cost?

Like cutting wildflowers, they will soon wilt and die when taken from their natural habitat. Saturn has this tendency to cut, place in the vessel of his own devices, create an unnaturally staged ornamental piece, then try everything under the sun to arrest its development, preserve its aesthetic, just to keep it from changing. He is not content to walk through the wild fields and admire the beauty as it was gifted by the creator. He must enjoy it on his own terms, and in and only for himself.

In this cycle, we come to discover what we love and what is most of value. Venus in Aquarius brings a sense of beauty through freedom and liberal-minded views. We must learn not to become imprisoned by the prism of our own love-programming. It is in our upbringing that the structures of how we deserve to have love become defined. The relationship between Venus and Saturn in the chart generally indicates to what extent our love-nature has been conditioned.

It is a fundamental truth, spiritual love has no bounds. It must be allowed to dance freely both within us and in all that is around us. Constrained love is not true love. To become true it must be allowed to flower to its maturity, as we too are allowed to dance freely alongside it. Only here, without fear or worry, do we mature in our understanding that to continue this eternal dance with love we must also tend to the responsibilities of our heart, whose only mission is for us to stay creative, wild and free.

In Pursuit of a New Hope: The Week Ahead
    Feb 8-14
    https://angstoic.com/2021/02/in-purs...head-feb-8-14/

"If ever there was a time when the world needed a new hope, some glimmer of positive inspiration that things might start to take a turn for the better, that there is light despite all of the darkness and confusion that currently enshrouds this earth, it would be now.

Among the anguish and uncertainty of our global situation, there must surely be some hope. Humanity is constantly awakening to the reality that we live amidst the horrible scourge of an infectious virus, itself mutating into more aggressive strands; the proliferation of authoritarianism by power-crazed individuals who strive to possess weapons of mass-destruction and instruments of population surveillance, control, enslavement and tyranny; of laws which are increasingly isolating and limiting to our fundamental freedoms; and of macabre ecological consequences due to our inability to accept and deal with massive shifting climate patterns as a unified species…

…This week offers a ray of light, in fact several, in the auspices of a New Moon and a number of conjunctions (new beginnings) against the backdrop of stars in the constellation of Aquarius.

Yet we must be reasonable in our hopes, given that Aquarius – for all its ideological reasonableness – is a rather existential sign. Its co-rulers Saturn and Uranus insist we focus on integrating knowledge and insight over fantasy and assumption, historical facts and scientific data over myths, ideals and dreams. They ask us to let go of all pretensions so that we can achieve something which defies all that can be truly experienced in the biological realities of our here/now.

I guess there’s hope in this, but many of us are still wishful that the solution to our differences may come from a magical place – a love-miracle of some kind, like the second coming of a unifying heavenly messiah, or the earthly visitation of wise extraterrestrial beings, or the disclosure from world leaders that this whole system of separation and scarcity is merely a hoax and that we’ve all been had.

We can look for hope, but in a time when both Jupiter and Saturn – rulers over our collective mindset or our intersubjective notions of reality – are also in Aquarius, then much attention is given towards taking a much more rational approach in our idealism. Aquarius requires that our concept of hope is as much scientific and evidence-based as it is merely idealistic and inspired by our feelings and emotions, for if we are to truly reach for the stars, we surely need a steady, if not state-of-the-art launching pad.

This week, we see the Sun and Moon, as well as Mercury, Venus, Jupiter and Saturn, and asteroid Pallas Athena congregate under the stars of the fixed/air constellation of Aquarius, like a giant summit of heavenly rulers whose principles must accord with the ideological premise that we are somehow all equal in our pursuit of individual expression, in our acceptance of others, in our thinkings and feelings, as well as in efforts to understand one another and to work on building a system that leans toward creating a world that is more egalitarian, at least by intellectual and political standards. Against all this seeming one-sidedness, we contend with contradictory energies that rule over our corporeal or biological bodies such as Mars and Uranus in the fixed/earth constellation of Taurus. The stodgy bull is a different animal to the water-bearer in that it insists on holding only to what it values as being physically distinct as its own. Hence the conundrum happening inside each and every one of us.

We are each separate entities, pitched against one another in a physical universe in which things are limited, whether by time, geographical position, availability of resources necessary not just to our survival but to our sense of comfort, security, appreciation and enjoyment of our material needs and desires. If we must share and share alike, as is the Aquarian trope, then we must consider how this ‘sharingness’ will affect our accustomed living standards. It’s basic mathematics in that those who have more will stand to lose some of their assumed luxuries – like wealth, physical space, political power, career aspirations, education, social status, earning capacity, access to nice things and beautiful people and above all their ‘constitutional’ freedoms – so that those who have less can also come to appreciate and enjoy some of those things as well.

Of course, this has been a problem for humanity since time immemorial, and the assurance that we may one day live in a world where no individual is left behind has been a problem for political rulers, economists, social scientists, physicists and mathematicians and well as philosophers, mystics, poets, artists and dreamers, all healers in their own way. Yet, we are now entering a new realm where we must seek to marry the physical, Newtonian understanding of science and knowledge with the emergence of new metaphysical and quantum discoveries without getting mad at our inadequacies and inabilities to form a cohesive bridge between two seemingly conflicting realms of consciousness. To reach for the stars, it seems, is going to require a considerable expansion of faith in our ability to evolve just about every area of our hearts and mind, and this may seem like a stretch, but it is entirely possible.

The triple conjunction of a retrograding Mercury and Venus over Jupiter inflates and expands the question of how we can somehow recalibrate our individualistic thoughts and emotions according to progressive concepts of a worldview which tends towards collectivism – one which provides us with an innovative and alternative understanding of the universe through which to grasp the evolving form and structure of our cosmos. In this, we are strongly encouraged to try to understand how our own individual freedoms may be affected and how reforms to our idiosyncratic beliefs around this concept may produce opportunities that benefit all society before we can move whole-heartedly (mind/body/spirit) into an arena of fairness and egalitarianism.

These are largely ideological concepts, but with Saturn holding the rear, also in Aquarius for the next two years, we are left with little option but to recalibrate all existing systems and structures to facilitate these ideals or have them fail in epic proportions if they are proven to be dysfunctional. This is made even more urgent as the antithesis raised by Uranus’ squares to Saturn throughout this year exemplify the archetypical struggle taking place in our psyche – the old versus the new; that which exists in the old order versus that which is possible; of ageing structures and fear-based limitations versus freedom; of existing logic versus an intuitive intelligence. There is almost an inevitability to the conflict between these two primordial forces, where certain change and the preservation of the status quo are constantly arrayed in a harsh grind against each other, and the irritating choice is always one of either/or. Naturally, this eats us up inside, but it also creates an icy tension in our outer world.

The Saturn-Uranus conflict begins as an internal struggle, resulting in confusion, inner torment and doubt within the individual psyche, where we are simultaneously fascinated by and disgusted by both the old-world status quo (3D) and the new order of freedom/change (4D). Finding it insufferable to happily exist in both dimensions, although compelled to do so in some way, the level of irritability rises to the point where the subconscious psyche inevitably compensates in the form of dissociation from current reality as it intrudes violently into our conscious expression. We are seeing this playing out already in several areas in our lives, where we see tense episodes between those who act as upholders of the status quo, conformity and law-and-order, facing up against the disruptive, innovative and insurgent elements of society – those rebellious, bohemian and revolutionary types who feel restricted and oppressed by authority and are now intent on precipitating change, instability, forced separations and accidents.

Hence, in both our ‘hopeful’ desire to either hold steady or to integrate reforms, we are confronted with constant obstacles and limitations which force us to endure life’s harsh, existential burdens until we can come up with a workable answer. Often, since the hope of finding any sustainable solution is under so much resistance, the subconscious manifestations of the contrariness of Saturn/Uranus function only to intensify the dissociative schism within both the individual psyche and that of the collective.

If hope exists, it emerges out of an ability to ground ourselves enough to accept both change and stability as beneficial and inevitable, to accept the creative tension posed when structure, rigidity and stagnation serve only to precipitate a necessary impetus towards inspiration, innovation and invention, and that if any cohesive future vision is to emerge, it must revolutionise and reform all existing edifices, form and order. It is up to each of us, whether we find ourselves stuck within or outside existing structures, to convert this tendency to gradually dissociate from ‘what is’, and to reassociate it with ‘what could be’ in order to facilitate our own evolution and that of the world around us.

Blessings, and may you have an amazing week xx

Waning MOON on the SOUTH NODE

"Looks as though politics has now exceeded its customary grasp over the administration of our society's economics, laws and public securities. Politics has finally trespassed and infringed itself completely upon our individual reasonings, our sacred mental and spiritual processes, our personal health and choices of morality and mortality, our precious private day-to-day dealings with one another, how we express ourselves intimately in our love and art.
There's really nowhere politics isn't present now, and it is a symptom of man's failure to act as a sovereign-thinking being, one who can question, argue and debate the incomprehensible absurdities that he feels goes against her inner nature.
Politics has almost always got it wrong, but because it has formerly only applied to the collective we have allowed it, whether through ignorance, indifference or our privileged ability to be corrupt. But when our lives are saturated by our interpersonal politics, it strikes at the core of the individual's ability to rule over his/her own meagre existence for fear of thinking/saying/doing 'the wrong thing', this is a condition worse than any oppression. This soon becomes soul-destroying.
As CS Lewis once said: “Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
When the boundaries of our individuality become trespassed, then ever so subtly recalibrated into 'rights' and 'wrongs', then the individual will is hijacked and sent slowly on a death march. Spirit will not allow politics (or religion) to govern over the individual's soul. A Spiritual Revolution is hence inevitable."

    BIRTH OF A REVOLUTION
    https://angstoic.com/2021/02/birth-of-a-revolution/

"The complexity of this moment is such that it defies any attempt to make any succinct prediction. All we can do is merely speculate that when several bodies converge into a single meeting point, their seemingly ‘fated’ union will engender a greater entity, one which will be somewhat characteristic of the kind of portends ordained by the heavens.

AQUARIUS is about groups, it is about becoming the designated spokesperson who will deliver the news that the old and outdated must give way to the new; the young; the brilliant; the unusual and the innovative.

It is the perfect place to meet if you are tired of the crusty and forlorn diatribe dictated by the hackneyed establishment whose only remaining premise is to stop the younger generation from usurping the old kingdom. AQUARIUS is the meeting ground where the ‘Revolution In The Head’ becomes instantly awakened, excited by the harmonies in the voices of a new group.

Last time we had a stellium in AQUARIUS was in Feb 1962. Among many worldwide seminal events, it was the month a little-known group in Liverpool, England called the BEATLES began their management contract with Brian Epstein; used drummer, RINGO, to replace their usual guy (who happened to be sick), and were released from prior contract to record company Polydor.

A New Hope: New Moon at 23°17′ Aquarius
    Thursday, Feb 11 2021, 19:07 UTC
    https://angstoic.com/2021/02/a-new-h...2021-1907-utc/

"It was inevitable after the Saturn/Pluto which cast its shadow over 2020, that we would have to come to accept that it was time to change everything or face the dire consequences for our ignorance and complacency.

Whilst alarm bells have been ringing at almost deafening levels, many are still confused, uncertain where to go and what to do. As Saturn approaches his first square to Uranus for 2021, our distortions, or rather departures from truth, have primed us for any possibility of another, more edgy reality. There’s a reason for all this dissociation and detachment, but one must stay present, lucid, and aligned within their centre to receive true guidance. Nothing and nobody around us can quite give us any true bearings, since it all seems shaky, ready to totally collapse.

    Unless you look up…

In the dark of the moon, there’s no real way of knowing where you’re going. But then, you’re probably used to that by now. After all, it’s only when the way ahead is shrouded in darkness, with your mind steeped in mystery about what’s going to happen that you’re compelled to change the way you’re used to seeing things. On this darkest of nights, if you look up to the skies you will see a million stars. Clusters and clusters of them, most, too close together to tell them apart. Then there are your bright ones. You can count them…

For you who believe in a brighter tomorrow, this New Moon presents us with a brand new prayer, a promise of hope; of seeing above and beyond this impossibly dark cloud of limitations.

If you believe in the power of ritual to mark a special event, then this phenomenal New Moon, accompanied by a trail of planets in the promising constellation of Aquarius, presents you with a divine opportunity to see the shimmering jewels and treasures of infinite abundance in your life. Just like the myriad of stars up in the night canopy, the skies are filled with choices:

What is it that you want most in your life? Better health, improved self-image, more money, a brilliant mind, greater communication skills, better job or career prospects, a new relationship, a dream holiday, to resolve some nagging problem in your life, a spiritual awakening, a world of universal abundance, a more peaceful world?

Attaining any of this starts with you setting a strong, pure intention. If you can dream it in the higher dimensions, and you can visualise its potential in the not-too-distant here/now – if you can look towards the horizon, you will see how the thundering lightning storms of Uranus hit the earth with electrifying effect upon your nervous system. If you can use your night-vision as a real superpower for you to perceive beyond the existential limitations in this life, then you can surely manifest your vision more objectively here, in your 3D experience of ‘reality’.

But you must first let go of the inner negativity and fear. Much is changing, the earth is literally quaking under your feet, allowing you to see that you have less and less that you can cling to, hence less and less to lose. A certain level of detachment is needed to see the freedom of your choices. A certain level of darkness is necessary to see the stars. One of those stars presents a special gift for you. Open up your heart and mind and be ready to receive.

This lunation is a perfect time to remedy and realign any broken-down mental and emotional pathways. Solar and Lunar energies combine at New Moon, merging your conscious mind☉ with the unconscious emotions ☽ embedded in your body.

In a world shrouded by darkness, peril and confusion about what lies ahead, it is time that we looked up to the skies for a new hope. The stars have never lied to us. They have not ever let us down. Use their light to navigate your way.

Blessings, and may you have an amazing New Moon xx"

Between the Ridiculous and the Sublime…
    THE WEEK AHEAD: Feb 22-28
    https://angstoic.com/2021/02/between...ree+Newsletter

"The Sun now moves away from all the hubbub in Aquarius, and by Thursday is joined by Venus in the nebulous, ego-dissolving Pisces. In the next few weeks, the subliminal ‘slide-away’ sensations that permeate our consciousness will be enough to throw much serious matter into disarray. Under the powerful dissolution of a Pisces Sun, we must learn to relinquish anything that ceases to serve our higher purpose here on earth, let go of the silly misconceptions and half-truths and find a point of resonance with the highest possible essence of ourselves. The risk of becoming swallowed wholesale into the abyss of mental confusion and ego disorientation is great during this period, for there are forces that seek to weaken the individual will and to dissipate its identification with and connection to the past.

Mercury, the ruler of Gemini, is again direct after three weeks of retrograde. Significantly in Aquarius, Mercury’s extended stay in the constellation of the Water Bearer has been a heralding trumpet for the New Age, introducing and reiterating the progressive shifts in technologies, medicines, networking, social reform ideas and matters of inequity. Much is developing on this front since the Grand Conjunction of Jupiter/Saturn at 00°♒29′ two months ago. Mercury’s buzzing back and forth between the two gas giants over these past weeks is instrumental in delivering the new reforms and regulations. The triple conjunction is magnificent to see in the pre-dawn rise, announcing the coming of a new intersubjective reality.

In a world where sweeping changes and reforms seem almost impossible to fathom, let alone keep up with and fully integrate into our lives, the conscious individual is reminded to maintain focus on the main purpose of his/her spiritual journey here. We are, at our core, pure intelligence. Our task during ‘the human experience’ is to rise beyond the petty squabbles that divide us in this grim, lower illusion of limitation and scarcity, to transcend from the world of suffering and fear by using all the knowledge and insight afforded to us by the heavens.

With Saturn and Jupiter in his wake, the luminescent Pisces Sun expresses a little apprehension (if not some naivety) for the dubious relationship between government and big business trying to inject sweeping new regulations into our supply networks. Behind them is always Pluto, and the collective quest to administer equality and fairness for all seems driven by a hidden, supernatural motive to amass tremendous power. Hence, the Sun in Pisces showers us with a lighted capacity to learn from past experiences, forgive others their trespasses, and to ask for forgiveness where there have been deviations and ills inflicted upon ourselves.

In an effort to regain a personal sense of power, creativity and sovereignty, the individual must vanquish all interests in external attempts to manipulate and gaslight him/her into positions of relative submission. The earth trine from Pluto to Mars (Thu) sees the force of the collective making every effort to secure its worldly holdings and securities of governance over the physical world. We may fight to preserve our individual interests, but we are also observing that all is not what it appears to be in the world of material stocks, that what we own and cherish in the material sense is becoming dissipated, its value diminishing as it becomes dispersed, somewhat unevenly, among the many billion souls who are alive today.

There is much speculation and still too much assertion placed on mere assumption and conjecture.

Power, wealth and security are arguably poorly meted out among the people on this earth. As the world seems plagued by all kinds of natural disasters, there appears a growing divide and discontentment between the few that ‘have’ and the many who do not, the few that ‘know’ and those who are kept in the dark by their own ignorance. As systems of governance over the economy and its laws are being upgraded constantly, the beneficiaries remain largely uneven and the greater wealth and power are not trickling down to those who seem to be blindly and pliantly doing all the work. The extent of global inequality still depends not on who we are, but where we are, both geographically and in the social order of things. As we can see by the daily reports from around the world, there are entire societies dealing with insufferable conditions of inequity and oppression. Those masses who are being controlled by an increasingly authoritarian rule are given fewer choices and fewer opportunities to liberate themselves from their current lot and hence share in the abundance of this world.

A Virgo Full Moon (Saturday) will assist us to see quite starkly what needs rebalancing between us, especially in our most intimate relationships. Who is doing all the work, and who is reaping all the benefit? Some sacrifices might need to be made at the highest level of our being in order to restore the equilibrium of healthy give-and-take between us.

This week, Jupiter’s trine to the North Node provides a welcome chance to see the greater purpose and overall goal of humanity a little clearer, connecting us with those who are willing to cooperate. However, with Neptune still squaring the Nodes (Nov 2020-Mar 2021), this may not appear entirely evident. There is still considerable gaslighting occurring at all levels – widespread brainwashing that seeks to convince the healthy that they are perhaps not so well and need treatment, while those who are truly pathologically ill are convinced that they have nothing to worry about.

Mercury in direct motion over his Rx shadow remains in close conjunction with Jupiter at the mid-degrees of Aquarius. In the union of the two rulers of the opposing Lunar Nodes (Gemini/Sadge), Mercury and Jupiter’s conjunction provides a rare opportunity to actually bring many of the ideas and beliefs about what the future may hold into some moral vision that can promise hope and prosperity for all humankind.

Again, through the Pisces Sun, we are to stay mindful that our presence here as conscious beings is all about a much higher process – consciously seeing that none of the constructs of the past are going to hold us for much longer, and though there is still enough spin and nonsense going around to fool “some of the people some of the time”, the truth is that “time” is truly up and many folks are quickly waking up to the dire emergency that we can no longer govern the new world using old inequitable systems. Every human being is a resource of creative intelligence and evolutionary power. To deny even one being of their cooperation is a crime against nature.

In evolutionary astrology, it’s all about the Nodes. Of course, all planets and points in the horoscope contribute towards how we will live out our dharma, but it’s important to keep a keen respectful eye on the transiting Nodes and their relationship to the rest of our chart when staying in check with the course of our relative spiritual purpose.

The transiting Gemini North Node is pulling humanity to reintegrate back into society. As much as we feel dragged backwards by the Sagittarian South Node, trying to maintain our ‘sense of liberty’ at all costs, we must be mindful that we cannot shirk our social responsibilities by avoiding any restrictions imposed on us. One’s liberty must not be at the expense of anyone else’s. As much as Sagittarius dislikes boundaries and rules, unless they are in alignment – not with one’s own truth, but Truth itself – there is no basis for self-knowledge and growth. Gemini tries to compel us to at least listen to both sides of an argument, see reason, accept facts as facts and not just mere suppositions and assumptions.

We need to work harder in being informed, ask questions where there are gaps in reasoning and be relentless in our attempts to understand exactly what is happening in our lives. To place faith on mere assumptions is a dangerous thing to do and like all dangerous things to do, we can suddenly find ourselves in frightful trouble. Making assumptions simply means believing things are a certain way with little or no real evidence to support that. For instance, we might assume that our position in the world today is in the same secure place it has always been, neglecting the obvious fact that things are shifting so dramatically, only to wake up tomorrow and discover that the whole foundation of our existence has eroded away underneath our feet. find ourselves drifting out to sea, with no grounds of support to our position whatsoever.

The Neptunian tides are strong, especially during Pisces season, and as the Nodes become crossed, we are reminded to check in with reality, Meditation is the key here, not so much your ‘trusty’ news sources.

While the Sun, our light-bringer, won’t reach the Gemini North Node until June 1, in Pisces, he will square the nodal axis in a spectacularly fantastical Last Quarter Moon on Mar 6 (15°♐42′), where, flanked by Venus/Neptune in the soul-unifying Pisces, he is unwilling to accept anything as neither fact nor truth. Over the next month, the Pisces Sun’s desire for the dissolution of ego attachments will challenge both the North and South Node evolutionary forces and we may struggle to maintain some grip on our position, especially if we invest in fantasies, delusions and all kinds of ‘medications’.

Fogs of confusion, avoidance of responsibilties and magical-thinking continue to plague humanity through March, despite efforts to regulate our pathways of disseminating news and information in a clear, logical and unbiased fashion.
There are other forces looming. As we can see, Mars himself finally enters Gemini (Mar 4). After spending the past 8 months in Aries/Taurus, the stolid little fighter had better smarten up if he wishes to keep up the little fight. Around the Solstice (Mar 20), Mars will approach the Gemini North Node, which will pull us to work towards the light side. We must all learn to become more assertive, but only with the facts. This will aggravate those more inclined to feel they know-it-all, the arrogant and ignorant, the rough and uncouth. We must build our courage up to ask more questions, demanding to hear satisfactory answers, to study and become clever if we are to become wiser. Those who fail to provide us with ‘reason’ and ‘just cause’ for their misgivings will have to pipe down and learn to see the ‘truth’ from another angle. It is our moral and spiritual imperative to pursue a logical solution to our problems. We must guard against resorting to sophistries and belief systems so obviously absurd that their whole case takes on an air of the ridiculous.

Blessings, and may you have an amazing week xx "

    "Greetings Fellow Travellers,

It's Virgo Full Moon time, the time of the year when we get to catch a reflection on the minutiae of just how vast and chaotic our universe can be. Can you make any sense out if it?

Sitting at the midpoint of the PLUTO/ERIS square, this Moon gives us a glimpse of how we're all under the spell of some massive soul-disintegration process, a force so sinister and hidden in its widespread operation, a most unnatural selection of who's fittest and who's most unfit to represent the morsels of humanity now undergoing a most monumental transition, right before our very eyes. Can you see it?

Power and envy are at war, and though it's grim to even imagine the final outcome, it's also the experience we (apparently) all need to have in order to remember that we're all in this together and we're going to see it through to its death, even if it kills us. In all the swirling chaos there is man's attempt to create order by giving meaning to whatever he does not understand. Woman too. We're all in this together, whatever this is.

    Is it real?

    Define real.

If you've ever looked in the mirror only to see somebody looking back at somebody who's clearly in a dream, that's similar to the effect of a Pisces Sun opposite the Virgo Moon. Have a close look at the moon tonight. See what you make of it all. What's it all mean to you?"

(My response, in my present mood today: But tomorrow or next week will most certainly bring a change. )

(My response, in my present mood today: But tomorrow or next week will most certainly bring a change. )

Make The Dream Real: VIRGO FULL MOON at 08°57

"The Virgo Moon holds up a mirror to the Pisces Sun, a hard-nosed reflection to his nebulous, subtle yet powerfully ego-dissolving glare. The Pisces Sun denies us of any clear, practical definitions, diffuses our minds into super-wholistic notions, makes us interested in the ‘holy’ principles behind any idea, and much like Aquarius, speaks to us in broad impersonal terms and wide-reaching concepts.

However, Aquarius is an air-sign, primarily operating along the rational dimension of ideas and science. Pisces goes one step beyond – into the sublime watery regions of the quantum universe, indeed an infinite realm of multiverses, a psychic memory bank where all things past, present and future are possible, including magic, mystery, ultra-terrestrial entities of the angelic and demonic realms and even ‘god’ as an all-powerful, all-knowing, all-seeing being exist. Of course, these are only visible through engaging the highest faculties of the imagination, and although we as humans often resonate collectively on certain dreams, fashions and sweeping trends, there is another side to us that begs us towards functionality and analytical distinction – a side that seeks to make these ‘holy visions’ wholesome and real.

Flanked by Venus and ruler Neptune, there is a preponderance of feelings, much talk about spiritual evolvement from this Pisces Sun – a deep concern about how spiritually evolved and conscious we are, especially regarding the universal principle of unconditional love and acceptance. However, when it comes down to self-effacement, particularly against the shrewd, discerning instincts of an earthy Virgo Moon, any heightened idealisms tend to appear more verbal than actual. There is considerable detail missing in how to make idealistic theories actually happen, especially during a state of global emergency.

This poses considerable challenges in our relationships which, while they can aspire to greater compassion and understanding between the individual and his/her world, there doesn’t appear to be much of a plan, just a lot of complaining about what’s not working. There is an obvious avoidance or evasion in dealing with the practical matters and step-by-step duties inherent in any well-functioning system. This is a kind of martyrdom that plunges the slippery Piscean into the abyss, from which Virgo must often overcompensate by working twice as hard to find techniques to fish him out.

The Virgo Full Moon poses us with a moment, a distinctly intense point in time when we must wrestle with our conscience to bring our highest, most altruistic and sacrificial aspirations into some semblance of order and reasonable application. Yes, it is special and sacred to be inspired by art, literature, classical mythology or fields of humanitarian endeavour, but unless these are brought into some down-to-earth, practicable complex of tasks and routine, they will escape serving any true purpose, both to our individual selves and to others.

Hence, this is a time to either marry the sublime and fantastically creative ideas into mundane utilisation or make a decision to untether and expunge ourselves from any relationship which only siphons away our rational energies.

If you are finding that you can no longer understand the purpose of the dream that is presented to you, effectively unable to carry on in the direction your dreamworld has been leading you, if you feel frustrated and confused by the main narrative of your mind’s eye, then this is seriously a time to stop and reflect. There are many factors contributing to your ability to satisfactorily realise all that is true and meaningful for you in this world.

The connecting midpoint of the Pluto/Eris square, impacting the exact degree of this lunation, brings up a myriad of massive global issues that affect the greater evolution or the extinction of our species and the well-being of every other element on this planet. Hence, matters of inability to meet our selfless duty towards the preservation of the greater whole become far more critical and urgent than being merely personal. At the dawn of a new scientific age, there are still many issues that evade any logical reason and plain, common sense.

Humanity is awakening to realise that we live in a fantasy world full of imaginary heroes and villains, of angels and demons, a universe all of our own making, where little of true substance is able to bring us down to earth, or where the family or social structure is too harsh for us to cope with. We must not look at escape from the harsh realities of this planet as the only option. It is in our ability to turn fantasy into reality, to channel our dreams and visions in such a way that allows us to practically contribute something wonderfully useful and resuscitating to the beautiful life that is possible for us all in this world.

    What can you do?
    What will you do?"

Planning the Great Escape (Prelude to Last Quarter Moon)

"…hope you’re studying up on how to get yourself out of this painful little twist.

All around and everywhere, unwitting instruments for wickedness and corruption are arrogantly, ignorantly, and self-righteously convinced they are in possession of the ‘truth’ and working for the highest good. It is as if they are unable to know that what they are doing is nasty and corrosive, unable to register their actions as anything other than healthy.

The real disease plaguing this planet cannot be medicated nor controlled by the very system which is itself infected with the disease. The pathogen of pure criminality, which manifests in the possessed individual under its thrall, now wreaks merciless havoc in the inner landscape of their perverted, convoluted psyche, playing out in their patriarchal role, as well as over the lives of those whom they purport to govern.

If you feel stuck in a box in some department over there, better wise up – devote a little systematic research on those ‘dark triad’ jerks – narcissus, psychopathus, and Machiavelli (& the four seasons)… gonna prove hand-ay.

Eris has cast her disease against Pluto’s dark auspices of patriarchal power… “Apple of Discord” is another way of saying “any action or situation that causes dissent, dissension and turmoil and causes more trouble than it’s worth.” "
