“Three-Headed Dog”: PLUTO’s RETROGRADE and the NODAL SQUARES 2023
    May 2, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW,
    https://angstoic.com/2023/05/three-h...-squares-2023/

"Pluto’s first retrograde in Aquarius, where the ‘old Black Hand of Fate’, has spent hardly 5 weeks. Pluto now heads back into Capricorn, where, from June to next January, exacts the finishing touches upon humanity’s obsession with posting status updates, corporate wealth control and widespread social reforms and restrictions. Governing the psychological processes of transformation, rebirth, and power, when Pluto enters its retrograde period, which happens once a year for about six months, we backtrack over some of the deep-seated control dramas experienced over the past few months, reviewing where we have lost and gained traction with the world around us, where we have reclaimed power, healed traumas and where we have gouged deeper into our sense of impotence and ineffectiveness.

When Pluto is retrograde, it appears to be moving backwards in its orbit. Its energy becomes more internalised, making it a time for introspection and self-reflection; our goal is to transcend unknown quantities within ourselves and bridge the gap between lower life and the higher, evolutionary self. Achieving this allows us to get more in touch with our real identity, which is essentially good. However, dropping off elements that are no longer necessary for our own personal growth can be hard since confronting deep psychological issues related to disintegration, death, and renewal is difficult. Our ego is often so attached to the exterior that we struggle to pause and go internally to face our shadow self.

The backtracking journey into the depths of one’s soul is an arduous task, yet a necessary one to face the challenges of the fate that awaits us. Though we have made gone through some changes in the power redistribution of our relationships since old dark-face went into his Rx shadow zone, Pluto’s retrograde tests our integrity and demands that we confront the symbolic disintegration, death, and renewal that must happen in order to commit. It is a solitary experience, without rehearsal, and though we go through this **** every year, each period is unique. Even if there are recurring themes in your relationships over the past 3-4 years, they are infused with prior experiences, and the actual issues are different every time. It can take years before the impact of current loss and renewal issues wanes, and what’s been happening in the background – culturally, politically, economically etc certainly acts as an underlying theme for many other, more quickly passing transits.

When Pluto enters its retrograde shadow zone, it will form a partile aspect (an aspect within one degree of exactness) with any natal planets or points in that zone three times: first when it enters the shadow zone, second when it stations retrograde, and third when it exits the shadow zone.
    • Pluto enters retrograde zone/shadow on January 8, 2023, at 27°♑︎53′
    • Pluto stations and turns retrograde on May 1, 2023, at 0°♒︎ 22′Rx
    • Pluto stations and turns direct on October 10, 2023, at 27°♑︎53′
    • Pluto leaves retrograde zone/shadow on February 1, 2024, at 0°♒︎22′

This triple hit of Pluto’s partile aspect can bring about intense and transformative experiences for individuals with natal planets or points in that zone. The energy of Pluto, which is already intense and transformative on its own, is further amplified by the three-part aspect. This can lead to a deep and profound inner transformation, often accompanied by external changes and upheavals. The more isolated the case, the more foreign the experience. The lack of intimate contact with other people makes it difficult to connect your changes to the experience with others and often leads to a more disorienting and disengaged feeling. After all, Pluto acts as a free agent, exhuming suppressed aspects of your inner psyche, and bringing them to the surface to be integrated into your whole self. It can produce an abrupt separation from the past, often experienced as a ‘death,’ but ultimately, once you get past the five stages of grief, leads to a new beginning. The journey to recall our steps and ascend to the upper world requires strength- after all, with his moving out of Capricorn and into Aquarius, we are about to enter a whole new dimension of power struggles. However, by learning to let go of all the Capricornian status, nominal role-playing and obsessions with money, physical body and emotional deadwood bull****, the rewards of personal growth and evolution are worth the struggle.

Pluto squares the Lunar Nodes throughout the rest of this year, felt most strongly in the coming months as a strong, unconscious urge to band together with influential people or organisations, form new associations and explore potential rewards and consequences, more as a primordial urge for survival. It’s a pack thing that, due to the square, doesn’t bode well for our evolutionary purposes. Instead of endowing us with a sense of unity and spec-ial sense of security, this alignment only conjures psychological and karmic-heavy challenges, such as feeling burdened by the mere association with others (wherever the common thread), feeling cramped by their influence and horrendous power struggles. Watch out for the aggravations of that Hadean three-headed dog.

On the plus side, it does help us to find valuable and influential resources who will help us to let go of some of our most toxic, transgenerational baggage and, through others, make significant gains through them, but be warned – these gains will be hard fought and impossible to keep if you’re hoping to bolster your ego or social power and status. A huge phenomenon is happening from now until January. I would say get used to standing on your own, in your own power, and ensuring that others are not playing with your own personal power switches or siphoning your emergency fuel tank. Once trip wires are triggered, **** gets crazy.

Any tendency to manipulate others or seek revenge, objectify or mistreat partners, and deny dealing with the root cause of issues concerning physical or mental well-being will only accelerate breakdowns. The nodal square from Pluto accentuates suppressed or unused energy leading to deranged desires for power or control, potentially causing issues not just among personal relationships (inferiority complexes or crippling inaction), but has every likelihood of busting out into a full-blown mass psychosis. Yes, worse than anything we’ve seen recently and akin (related) to the last Pluto-nodal squares of 2015.

Now, navigating through the minefield of the next few months is a tenuously precarious journey, and looking at just the transits of this next month (discussed in our most recent lunar eclipse Cosmic Bus episode) is going to take some mindful consideration and a little foresight. Before launching into drastic action, it’s important to ask yourself, “What’s it worth?” – Is it worth taking a heavy risk for potentially light, superficial gains, or is it better to play it safe? Is safety even possible? Are the short-term benefits worth the potential long-term consequences?

Consider what you truly value in this life anymore. You will be asked/pressured/dumped with the situation where you must let go of dead weight in order to move forward. Is it worth sacrificing your values for success or money? Is it worth sacrificing your relationships for career advancement or social status points? Is it worth sacrificing your health or your humanity for a few extra hours of work?

Big, gun-to-the-head style pressures during Pluto’s ultimate Rx period through Capricorn – it’s up to each individual to determine what’s truly worth pursuing in their life. Most of all, take the time to reflect and make conscious decisions based on your inner values and spiritual priorities rather than getting swept up in the chaos and distractions of the world around you."

“Purge These Poisons”: The LUNAR ECLIPSE at 14°58′ SCORPIO
    Friday, May 05, 2023, 17:35 UTC

    May 5, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/05/purge-t...2023-1735-utc/

    (BOLD LETTERS MY EMPHASIS)

"On Friday, May 5, skywatchers around the world will have the opportunity to witness a penumbral lunar eclipse as the moon passes through the Earth’s outer shadow. Although the moon will not completely disappear, it will partially darken during the eclipse.

The event is expected to begin at approximately 15:15 UTC and, weather permitting and provided you have eagle-eye vision, will be visible from certain regions, including Antarctica, Asia, Russia, Oceania, and Eastern and Central Africa. However, for most people, the shadowing effect will be barely perceptible. The eclipse will reach its peak at 17:24 UTC and end at 19:32 UTC. By the time the moon emerges from the Earth’s shadow, a south node Scorpio lunation will have cast its spell on the entire world.

Eclipses have a long reputation for being associated with unfortunate events and are often perceived as having a predominantly harmful impact on individuals. Even those who don’t care much for astrology are aware of the potential for eclipses to bring bad news. With Mercury currently in retrograde, the fear about this is compounded. In any case, it’s important that we try to convey a deeper understanding of the psychological processes involved in eclipses and how to harness their extraordinary power for personal growth, hopefully dispelling some of the bad press and utilise this rather intense eclipse season as an opportunity for introspection and spiritual development.

    THE POWER OF ECLIPSES:
Eclipses occur when the Sun, Moon, and Earth align in a particular way. A lunar eclipse happens when the Earth passes between the Sun and the Moon, casting its shadow on the Moon. This Friday’s eclipse is a penumbral lunar eclipse, which means that the Moon will pass through the Earth’s outer shadow, causing it to darken but not completely disappear. This eclipse is particularly significant as it occurs near the south node, complementing the north node eclipse that occurred two weeks prior. The nodes represent the points where the Moon’s orbit intersects with the Earth’s orbit, symbolising the soul’s evolutionary journey.

Dane Rudhyar, a renowned astrologer of the 20th century, likened the Nodes to a spiritual process of metabolism, where the North Node represents the intake and digestion of new spiritual material (i.e., karmic connections, life directions, and behaviour patterns), and the South Node symbolises the release and elimination of what is no longer needed. While the North Node requires effort and intention to ingest the incoming, the South Node can become an automatic excretion of psychic stagnation or spiritual constipation of everything overly relied upon. Rudhyar suggests that establishing a positive focus of conscious acceptance at the North Node is crucial while consecrating the South Node to a larger ideal to help release it into life. Moreover, Rudhyar notes that a planet conjunct the Nodes can act as a powerful and even compulsive lever to facilitate consciousness.

This is why a lunation occurring on or near the Nodes is so potent and personally impactful. Beyond just being any ordinary New or Full Moon, an eclipse intensifies the effects of the Nodes, since eclipses can only occur when the Moon aligns with the Nodes. Eclipses act as cosmic portals that can accelerate our spiritual growth and evolution by bringing to light the karmic lessons associated with the Nodes. They have the power to reveal hidden truths, trigger a chain of life-altering events, and propel us, whether our ego is ready or not, towards our soul’s purpose. Because of their unfathomable potency, eclipses are often single-handedly respected as the most significant celestial portents of the shifts and turning points in our lives.

A LUNAR ECLIPSE AT THE SOUTH NODE:
A lunar eclipse is a Full Moon with intense spiritual or karmic overtones. Any Full Moon typically heralds the end of something stirring up on the emotional level, reaffirmed by our interpersonal experiences. At a lunar eclipse, our dependency issues, attachments, habits, emotional identifications and investments are temporarily put on hold, only to be unleashed later with overwhelming ferocity.

At this time, we sense the profound power of our lunar consciousness, the soul potential of our most intuitive essence, which speaks to us in the most prophetic and poetic ways, urging us to release those damned things that no longer serve us. If we can see beyond our ignorance and darkness, we may catch a glimpse of the hidden seed of our own future. This sensation is especially obvious when the Moon is eclipsed at the South Node and sensed by many.

The South Node is associated with the past, heritage, and baggage we carry from previous experiences. It illustrates ancestral themes or past connections that either impede our future potential or enable our tendencies to stay resistant, stagnant and concatenated to a far too obsoleted past.

THE SECOND SCORPIO SOUTH NODE ECLIPSE:
This lunar eclipse occurring at the Scorpio South Node is the second since the nodes shifted into the Taurus/Scorpio Axis in January 2022. The first was in May of last year, but its full effects were hindered by a T-square from Saturn in Aquarius. This time, with Uranus and Mercury Rx aligned along the Sun/Moon axis, it heralds a significant period of uncontrolled disruptions that can trigger the sudden release of our most toxic elements, bringing them wildly out into the open, releasing them into the environment so that they can be seen and dealt with, once and for all.

Scorpio is known for its intensity, passion, and tendency towards seeking revenge. However, it’s also the sign of the Moon’s indignant ‘fall’, making the Moon uncomfortable in Scorpio. Her emotional energy can become highly volatile and distorted here, leading to exaggerated emotions, impulses, and subconscious desires that are difficult to control. The Scorpio South Node further amplifies this effect, compelling us to cut ties with our karmic past and patterns that we need to release urgently.

This lunar eclipse will bring to light all the unhealthy patterns and behaviours that we need to release. We may be deeply wounded by past grievances, holding a badness towards anyone who threatens us, seek revenge for past ills, and vow to engage in hidden or illicit activities to exact recrimination. The intense energy of Scorpio can fuel our impulses for retribution and condemnation, leading us to hold fury, to harm others and cause conflicts.

Throughout history, our Scorpio verve has been associated with a desire to survive, dominate and control others, and feed off their power, their creative life force. We have become involved in manipulative power games that exploit our race, sex, class, ideology, and gender differences, perpetuating a cycle of ego-stroking and exploitation. Now, amid a planetary alignment that includes a retrograde Pluto forming nodal squares to the explosive Jupiter/Eris combination, we find ourselves at the crescendo of all global crises, at the peak of one international emergency after another, edging around the pits of a collective psychic turmoil, with an overwhelming need to break away from this absurd state of spiritual paralysis.

On both a personal and collective level, it is becoming clear that continuing on this path will lead to devastating losses, including war, financial extortion and fraud, and the sudden onset of soul-debilitating diseases and mental derangement. The social situation is so dire that its dehumanising element is becoming personally sickening. It is time for us to confront our shadows and release ourselves from the unhealthy patterns and behaviours that hold us back from true healing and growth.

    MOVING THROUGH THIS:
Unless we heed the North Node call of duty to defend the truth, the lunar eclipse has the power to stir up a sense of despair and restlessness that may leave us feeling trapped in a dark night of the soul. If we are plagued by interminable psychic woes and haunted by the imminent threat of failure and loss, it may be a sign that we need to confront the self-created patterns that have brought us to this point. In this moment of darkness, we may find a glimmer of courage to stop cowering; find the moral fortitude to go against the grain; cease expecting that someone else (our government?) will help us to break out of this transgenerational curse of power and control and embrace love, generosity and the pursuit of freedom. This issue is bigger than politics, much more difficult to comprehend by mere science alone.

It is time to accept that nobody is coming to rescue us. We can only save ourselves from this pitiful abyss of cowardice, loathing, and self-contempt. It is time to chart a new course and boldly move towards greater self-reliance and the ability to stand on our own, for ourselves, on our own terms.

Eclipses present an opportunity for inner work but require a willingness to venture into the darkness and see the source of evil with new eyes. The eyes of the soul. This participatory approach allows us to work symbolically with life’s unpleasant and painful aspects rather than merely reacting to them or trying to reason and argue our way out of them. During eclipse times, the interrelationship between the Sun (Mind), Earth (Body), and Moon (Soul) becomes apparent, and the primary symbolism of the Nodes manifests in real life. By attuning ourselves to this celestial energy, we can gain valuable insights and experience personal growth.

During this time, it’s possible to work with the energies of the nodes, which can help us to grow and evolve on a psychological and spiritual level.

    many blessings xx "

“Caught in the Crossfire”: FIXED GRAND CROSS, MAY 21
May 8, 2023 ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/05/caught-...-cross-may-21/

"Eclipse season is over; now we can start pulling apart the aftermath, and the epic event of May 21 [major David v Goliath action brewing around next New Moon].

When planets are locked in a fixed pattern, they create unyielding and persistent energy structures. In the forthcoming grand cross along the Taurus North Node and Scorpio South Node Axis, which is being squared by Pluto from Aquarius, the earthy and unwavering energy of Taurus, expounded by the ingressing Jupiter, seeks to be balanced by the emotional depth and complexity of Scorpio. Though Taurus is associated with form and stability, Scorpio, ruled by transformative Pluto, represents the release of attachment to forms and the recognition of their impermanence. We are seeing this currently thanks to the recent Scorpio Lunar Eclipse, as the two signs complement each other, with the most toxic elements of Scorpio mirrored by Taurus, offering a place to land, be buried (or earthed), become regenerative ‘wormfood’ and their karmic cycle complete.

The Earth, caught in the crossfire of this lunar eclipse between the Sun and Moon, is a living organism with her own intelligence and ecosystem. She is our physical home and has been neglected and exploited for centuries. However, as our understanding of the Earth evolves, we begin to recognise her sacredness and appreciate her vibrancy and interconnectedness. I include the Earth in every reading, since she affirms the central ‘here/now’ perspective which is essential to expanding our psychospiritual worldview beyond a geocentric perspective.

In considering the fixed Nodes being intersected, not just by the eclipse, but the planetary T-Square later this month, we see the Earth’s dual role as central to the Moon’s orbit and peripheral to the Sun. Their conjunction at New Moon (at the anaretic of Taurus) reflects the dynamic relationship between centre and periphery, which is present in various aspects of creation, from the solar system to the cellular and subatomic worlds.

As many of you know, I’ve been foreshadowing the theme of “David and Goliath” a lot lately, a biblical theme whose archetypal symbology is etched throughout the annals of time and immortalised in stone by many an artist – one in particular – that of Piscean artist, Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti…

As the story goes, David, was a well-known biblical hero an unlikely underdog who stood against the giant Goliath – a seemingly unbeatable foe. It is a metaphor and not to be taken literally, like much of my work. It’s up to you to make what you will of it, and I provide it here, with love, for your entertainment. In the story, David, a young shepherd boy, faces off against the Philistine giant, Goliath, in a battle that everyone expects him to lose. However, David is able to defeat Goliath by using his wit and skill with a sling and stone, ultimately becoming a hero and the future king of Israel.

The suggestive significance of the David and Goliath story lies in its representation of the triumph of the weak over the strong, the powerless over the powerful, and the small over the large. It’s a tale of courage, determination, and ingenuity in the face of seemingly insurmountable odds. As I mentioned earlier, it has been immortalised in various forms of art and literature throughout history.

In the coming fortnight, we will be drawing on this archetypal symbolism and using it to foreshadow a similar theme in my own astrological interpretations. As it stands, thanks to my recent issues with Facebook, I may be figuratively pitted as the allegorical “David” figure, fighting against an unbeatable opponent or challenging a dominant power structure, and so drawing inspiration from the story’s message of perseverance and determination to add further potency to the narrative. However, I do not see myself as the instrumental character in my own work – I am neither annoyed nor invigorated to rebel against the machine, merely here to draw from my own experiences and to use whatever medium to tell the story, as in the many artists who have been inspired by the David and Goliath story…

So, as it seems, in my research for my most recent article on Eris/Jupiter, I discovered a most interesting, yet little-known fact: Eris was last around the exact critical (26º) degree of Aries in 1500-1503, conjunct Jupiter (as she is now) in 1501. This period was remarkable for several reasons, which I would like to discuss with you, but kindly read the article for more context: https://angstoic.com/2023/04/jupiter...of-the-wisest/

"Stubborn Defiance” – SUN CONJUNCT URANUS at 18°56′ TAURUS, Tuesday, May 09, 19:56 UTC
    May 9, 2023
    https://angstoic.com/2023/05/stubbor...y-09-1956-utc/

"When the Sun aligns with Uranus, all subtlety goes out the window…

Instead, we see bold attempts to grab attention, and those with unchecked egos will lose it, override caution and any consideration for others and do all kinds of crazy, unexpected stuff. Whilst Uranus can bring breakthroughs, it can also provoke shocking twists and turns on our life path, leading to resentment and rebellion. To harness Uranean energy, we must wake up to our true selves, dispel ignorance and fear, and act independently from the influence of others. This is incredibly hard to do under a Sun/Uranus conjunction when the drive for freedom and “truth-telling” becomes amplified, and wildly erratic, over-blasted displays of obstinance and free will ultimately lead to sudden shifts and major, unforeseen life changes….

Watch out for those who are a bit ungrounded, whose damaged, twisted view of reality has managed to warp their entire mainframe manifesto. Their whole worldview and ideology on life may be hinging on any excuse to erupt into unexpected catastrophic efforts at reinventing themselves.

Whilst not always necessary, chaotic situations do help us deal with ourselves more directly and honestly to reform ourselves, especially where freedom and reasonableness have been long suppressed, and a sudden outbreak has occurred. In any emergency, the Sun on Uranus stimulates intuition and accelerates willpower into taking timely action, leading to exciting solutions that draw out an instant grasp of the overall situation and provide a chance to act in an executive or leadership capacity. For those most obstinately ignorant individuals, or even entire tribes who have defied the laws of nature, whose ego is so far up their own buttholes they cannot possibly see any light, big upsets that require enormous cooperation, like rescue efforts after a massive disaster (**see earthquakes/revolutions) will usually snap out of their self-defeating oblivion and recognise the brilliance of other peoples’ ideas and know when to defer to them and cooperate (or bust).

Although Uranus will not pander to the ego, its conjunction to the Taurus Sun helps to awaken us to our self-reliant authenticity and creative ways to harness the earth’s abundance to make a go of things on our own, in our own, undulating terms. Any self-insight gained at this point ultimately helps us take off, like a rocket, in dynamic new directions. However, stubborn egos can become our worst enemy here, and unyielding standoffs – where neither side is willing to give a penny or an inch, will lead to protracted clashes, uprooting confrontations and wars of attrition. This is where Uranus, crestfallen in Taurus, shows its ultimate destructive power. It is difficult to use Uranian energy to act swiftly and adapt to changing circumstances in an easy, reasonable manner. In one sense, the slowness of Taurus can help us avoid impulsive actions and rushing decisions that lack consideration for others. In another, once decisions have been made, they can take ‘ages’ to unlock or reverse.

In any case, after this transit, our individual perspective and staunch individuality become clearer, more defined and stubbornly determined, and it will be easier to willingly separate ourselves from the masses and be our own, autonomous selves."

“The Abduction of Kore”: Lessons from an Untimely Loss of Innocence
    May 13, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/05/the-abd...-of-innocence/

"During her internment in Hades, Kore found herself overcome by depression, her future (and innocence) permanently snuffed away from her, her hypnotically induced state rendering her almost catatonic- precisely the state in which Hades preferred to have his captive maidens.

Yet, on the day the herald Hermes (Mercury) descended into the underworld to deliver the message that Zeus (Jupiter), god of gods, had commanded Kore’s immediate return to her mother, the newly-crowned underworld goddess Persephone suddenly came alive with eager anticipation. However, in her excitement at the news, Kore’s exuberance got the better of her, and she eagerly accepted a parting gift from Hades- a few pomegranate seeds.

In her eagerness to return to middle earth, she consumed the seeds, likely hoping to reclaim her former sweetness and supple nature. Little did she know that this seemingly innocuous act would seal her fate as Hades’ unwilling concubine for a good portion of each year…

With a thunderous roar, the earth ruptured asunder, unleashing the insatiable fury of edgelord Hades (Pluto) upon the world. Riding in his chariot, he brazenly seized Kore, ravished her, and then swallowed her whole, dragging her into the chthonic pits of his shadowy chambers. In many respects, this grim event acts out his own tormented youth, marred by the trauma of being devoured by his father (Kronos/Saturn), only to perpetuate the cycle of abuse as an adult…

Of course, the Hadean myth gained notoriety, with its defining incident in which the dark underlord violently snatches the innocent and radiant Kore, forcibly making her his own, then coercing her to share his throne in the dismal Underworld as his eternal queen consort, now known as Persephone.

Could this hideous abduction have been his twisted attempt to bridge his inhuman chasm of loneliness with another? Was he ignorant of the fact that no one can truly love or honour another under such oppressive conditions? Even to this day, forceful Plutonians who demand to own and control others struggle to earn genuine love and respect; they resort to manipulative tactics, gaslighting and sinister threats.

Hades fiercely guarded his subterranean realm, rarely venturing into the world of light and air without his special helmet of invisibility – just like those Plutonians and Scorpionic individuals who often don trademark sunglasses and facemasks to obscure their deviousness from the world and create an aura of mystery, unnerving the other gods the most, because they never knew whose conversations he was secretly monitoring, hoping to gather dirt which he would later use either to destroy you, get you imprisoned, and if that failed, have you snuffed out completely by his minions and his men in black…

When she found out, Demeter (Ceres) was beside herself with grief and anger, her sorrow causing the fertile land to become dry and more barren. Zeus, ruler of middle earth and all its humans, worried about the future of the planet and demanded a compromise: Kore would spend half of every year in the Underworld as Hades’ queen, and Demeter was allowed to go on strike, creating the non-vegetative seasons of autumn and winter.

But even this compromise was not enough to quell Demeter’s despair. As she withdrew her blessings from the land, famine and pestilence continued to ravage the earth. The changing climate seemed unstoppable, and Demeter’s sorrow only fueled it further.

Meanwhile, Hades.com (Pluto in Aquarius) who ruled over the ever-increasing zombified population of the digital Underworld, with souls of the newly dead and the damned logging into its gates every day, made sure that the world would never be the same again. And though Kore was reunited with her mother for half of every year, she was never quite the innocent young maiden again, having subscribed to Hades’ incredibly sexy, intelligence-enhancing powers.

“Moving the Immovable”: TAURUS NEW MOON LUNATION REPORT

We said from the start (ARIES EQUINOX) that this was going to be an incredible year, like no other: From the offset, a double-Aries lunation - the first at the world axis, the second, a hybrid solar eclipse - heralding the inception of a brave new being that would boldly step up to expose and go head to head against the Plutonian darkness. Last week's lunar eclipse in Scorpio packed a cosmic gut punch, and you can try to reason all kinds of fancy rhetoric into the current picture, but it is clear that humanity (and probably you, too) are in for a phenomenally truculent ride.

Next Friday's Taurus New Moon brings both good and bad news as it revolves around the Grand T-Square gridlock of ultra-fixed egos. Blame-shifting through selective amnesia is a common tactic employed by malicious individuals, and it all stems from an abusive person's unwillingness to take responsibility for their hurtful actions."

    JUPITER IN TAURUS (16 May 2023- 26 May 2024)
    May 17, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/05/jupiter...3-26-may-2024/

    "A Farewell to Aries
The great benefic, Jupiter, now at the edge of his celestial dance in Aries, illuminates the heavens with a final burst of incandescent sparks. Very soon, this mighty planet gracefully traverses over into the lush, fertile pastures of Taurus, bidding farewell to the fiery realm he has ignited for much of the past year. In his inception, he brings with him a child whose innocence is about to be introduced to the physical delights of this world.

This shift marks the end of a spectacular chapter that has inspired us to embrace our passions, explore wild new frontiers, and boldly push the boundaries of our existence. Since May 2022, Jupiter in Aries has taught us to show less resistance when it comes to asserting what we believe to be ethically or morally right. We also learned to question and challenge those who demand moral justice without showing just cause.

Regardless of your previous attitude on things, it is likely that the inclination to adopt a new outlook has become engendered in you, or perhaps you were pushed into one. In any sense, the spark of sacrosanctity – the grandeur, passion, and transcendental nature of our drive to assert ourselves and fight for causes greater than death has been ignited.

As we witness Jupiter’s last hurrah in the dynamic sign of Aries, we can’t help but feel a sense of gratitude for the transformative experiences it has gifted us over the past year. We are prepared, and with bated breath, we eagerly anticipate the next phase of Jupiter’s journey and the opportunities it will bring as he transitions into the fixed-earth realm of Taurus.

Jupiter in Transit: The Roving Benefactor
Jupiter transits leave a profound impact on us, opening doors to new opportunities and inspiring us to strive for future possibilities. When our chart is blessed with a Jupiter transit, some kind of personal growth is encouraged, and either through travel or study we are urged to expand our mundane experiences and engage in more extroverted and socially active pursuits. With a reassuring tap on the shoulder, Jupiter instils confidence and a sense of liberation, allowing us to express ourselves freely and overcome inhibitions.

However, Jupiter is not patient with fearful individuals and favours risk-taking over cautious moderation. His transits provide windows of opportunity that must be seized promptly, and even if we are the reluctant kind, Jupiter evokes a desire to move beyond our current limits, both for our material progress and personal inner growth. Jupiter transits can bring forth positive developments, but only if we rise above fear and self-doubt, and assume the way forward with honesty and faith in our abilities.

Jupiter’s nudge to have more trust in ourselves is what makes us embrace the potential for greatness and seize the opportunities that come our way with unwavering confidence, such as job promotions, advanced education certifications, opportunities to visit foreign lands, marriage proposals, entrepreneurial ventures, creative pursuits, influential leadership roles, significant financial gains, recognition and awards, spiritual transformations, and deep connections with people who inspire and support our growth.

    Jupiter in Taurus: Settling Down
When Jupiter enters Taurus, the sign of fixed earth, the application of the Jupiterian influence takes on a grounded and steady form. Jupiter’s expansive energy combines with Taurus’ stability and determination, creating a potent force for material growth and manifestation. During this transit, we are encouraged to focus on building tangible abundance in our lives, whether it be through financial endeavours, solid career advancements, or establishing a stable foundation for our goals and future vocation.

In some respects, Jupiter’s expansive nature is at odds in Taurus’ stodgy conservative domain. Although caution and traditionalism are not preferable to a god who seeks excitement and relentless growth, by adapting to Taurus’ steadying qualities, Jupiter can still foster steady material prosperity and grounded expansion, inspiring us to cultivate patience, persistence, and practicality, guiding us to make wise investments, take calculated risks, and diligently work towards our aspirations. This 12-month transit highlights the importance of finding pleasure and contentment in the present moment while steadily moving towards future possibilities.

Whilst in Taurus, Jupiter makes several notable aspects to other transiting planets, most significantly the square to Pluto (May 18, 2023) and the conjunction to Uranus (Apr 21, 2024).

From beginning to end, this uniquely intense and culturally revolutionary transition fosters a more profound sense of self-worth in all of us. Despite all that is happening in the world, it encourages us to resist what is superfluous and trite, and trust in our innate ability to create lasting, tangible gains in the material realm, ultimately leading to a greater sense of self-reliant security and autonomous fulfilment.

    Materialism and Sensuality

As Jupiter enters Taurus, he begins to glorify the values of practicality, earthiness, and sensuality, elevating the pursuit of pleasure and physical sensations above all else. We immerse ourselves in a burgeoning philosophy of hedonism and epicureanism, delighting in the luxuries of fine food, exquisite wines, sumptuous fabrics, and all the bountiful treasures of the earth. Yet, caution is warranted, for Jupiter’s inclination toward excess warns of the perils of overindulgence and extravagance. The consequences of glut can be weighty, both personally in the form of excessive physical burdens (ie weight gain) and globally in the depletion of the earth’s resources. A capitalist creed of greed and consumerism may usher in indolence, decadence, stagnation, and a distorted moral compass.

From its very ingress into Taurus, Jupiter is met by a daunting force, marked by challenges and admonitions as it squares Pluto in Aquarius. This cosmic alignment portends the dire repercussions of our insatiable greed, profligacy, and destructively progressive ways. We become acutely aware of the spectre of illness born from toxic health practices and overconsumption, and the looming threat of extinction overlooks ominously as we perpetuate an almost religious adoration of capitalism, fixated on hoarding and control of the earth’s resources.

Within this milieu, Jupiter’s penchant for excess and self-indulgence carries the potential for calamity, steering us towards a myopic nihilism that disregards the far-reaching ramifications of our choices. The signs are clear: we must strive for equilibrium and temperance, meticulously contemplating the repercussions of our actions, lest we endanger the annihilation of life itself.

As the Jupiter/Pluto square emerges (May 18), it heralds the onset of the first genuine crisis since these two celestial brothers collaborated in a powerful conjunction, orchestrating a grandiose manoeuvre to exploit vast wealth transfers during three momentous conjunctions in 2020. For us, it signifies the fervent pursuit of material possessions that fosters an environment ripe for greed and immoderation. This results in an unsustainable lifestyle that inflicts harm not only on the body through substance addictions and their accompanying health ailments, including anxiety and stress that insidiously accumulate within us, but also on our financial well-being, interpersonal relationships, and the moral fabric of society.

Superficial interests replace meaningful connections, empathy wanes, and a dearth of higher purpose prevails. Moreover, this relentless consumption engenders an erosion of the environment, imperilling both nature’s delicate balance and the foundations of our shared existence as a society. To navigate these treacherous waters, we must recalibrate our perspective on consumption and reassess the elements that truly constitute a fulfilling life, grounded in our innate connection to the earth and informed by our core, fundamental values.

Successes and Seismic Tremors in Finance and Business
Several critical aspects from the Jupiter/Pluto square along the nodal axis, the Mars, then later Venus T-squares, and culminating in Jupiter’s groundbreaking conjunction with Uranus in Taurus on April 21, 2024, offer the potential for stunning advancements (and setbacks) in material and financial matters. This alignment could bring sudden opportunities for growth, innovation, and technological progress, particularly in fields related to agriculture, food, and natural resources. However, there is also the risk of wild stock fluctuations due to impulsive market decisions and reckless actions, which could lead to unexpected setbacks or losses on the exchange. Maintaining a balance between taking calculated risks and exercising caution regarding financial and business ventures will be the most significant test of Jupiter’s later part of this transit, particularly as Jupiter exits his retrograde shadow in late March.

    Sociopolitical, Philosophical and Spiritual Values
During Jupiter’s transit in Taurus, we will see a profound shift in philosophical and spiritual values being infused into our lives. We are inclined towards conventional wisdom, down-to-earth truths, and practical philosophies. Fundamentalist views and conservatism are on the rise, perhaps as a moral outrage to the sprawling and overarching march of modernity and progressivism. To navigate this journey more smoothly, we must cultivate reverence for nature, preserve our assets, and convey our values to others in a practical, easy-to-understand manner.

During this time we witness the rise of the spiritually mature individual, someone who recognises their role as a steward of the world’s goods and commodities, using and sharing them wisely. We see the rise of the custodians of mother nature and the land. Money and material resources are seen as a form of energy that supports expansion and development. However, we also see the rise of the opposite perspective, characterised by simplistic individuals who hold rigid and even intolerant views, often associated with rednecks, bigots, and those who resist progressivism.

Individuals who hold strongly conservative or traditionalist beliefs, often resist social and cultural changes because they feel threatened by shifts in societal norms and values, and they may react with hostility or fear towards those who challenge or question their worldview. Those who stubbornly cling to outdated ideologies, resist progress and advocate for maintaining the status quo in times when change is happening everywhere are symptomatic of a society that needs to address systemic issues that contribute to the persistence of these perspectives. Sliding socioeconomic factors, lack of education, and limited exposure to diverse cultures and ideas can play a role in shaping individuals’ fixed views and unyielding values.

Advocating for equal access to education, enabling equitable access to social and economic opportunities for all, and working towards dismantling systemic inequalities, will have to become the leading premise in Jupiter’s steady slog through Taurus, helping administer resources to as many as possible to foster a more inclusive and tolerant society.

With Jupiter in Taurus, the religious and sociopolitical outlook is often orthodox and linked to financial and practical concerns under this transit, we see why this level of conservatism has its necessary place in the economy of life. The Jupiter/Uranus conjunction will revolutionise things in this respect, but overall, Jupiter in Taurus signifies a capacity for wise, almost sacred administering of money and material resources for the benefit of all, emphasising the importance of aligning our actions and investments with values that promote steady, sustainable growth, well-being, and the harmonious development of life.

Additionally, the three Jupiter/Neptune semisquares occurring in July, November, and March 2024 further invite us to delve into spirituality and blend practical, earthy wisdom with compassion and interconnectedness, guiding us towards an enlightened approach to our financial choices and material pursuits. Many advancements are made in both traditional and holistic medicine during this time.

    Personal Strengths and Weaknesses
Values and beliefs may become dynamically interwoven in exploring ways to develop personal strengths and ameliorate weaknesses under this transit. Challenges may arise from inflexibility, intolerance of others’ values and a lack of intellectual stimulation or ignorance of foreign ways and customs. However, Jupiter’s influence bestows reliability, common sense, and a down-homey, warm sense of humour when facing intellectual or sociopolitical hurdles.

We will be encouraged to build philosophical attributes and develop a sincere appreciation for life’s inherent beauty. This includes cultivating down-home attitudes and embracing belief systems rooted in earthiness and simplicity, like sustainable living methods, connecting with nature, valuing community and relationships, and appreciating craftsmanship and traditional skills. These attitudes and beliefs can provide a solid foundation for personal growth and a harmonious connection with the world around us.

As Jupiter aligns with Uranus in Taurus (Apr 2024), a transformative shift occurs, nurturing a renewed and profound appreciation for the physical world and a deep sense of sensuality. This catalyses the emergence of a fresh way of life – a “new earth religion” rooted in faith and personal growth, emphasising productivity, reliability, and steadfastness, fostered through the exploration of sustainable technology, promotion of local and regenerative agriculture, integration of minimalism and conscious consumerism, and integration of mind-body practices and holistic wellness.

    Interpersonal Relationships and Love
During Jupiter’s transit in Taurus, we may witness the emergence of certain patterns and dynamics in the affairs of the heart. Taurus is ruled by Venus, the goddess of beauty and love, so generosity and giving become common traits, as individuals find pleasure in entertaining and taking care of others. There is a preference for a slow and steady approach, emphasising the importance of building a solid foundation in love and life. Appreciation for the small, beautiful aspects of relationships is heightened, and there is a notable aversion towards greed, with the belief that abundance will naturally flow. Loved ones are treated with benevolence and, on occasion, even extravagance.

While physical pleasure and aesthetic beauty hold significance, reliability and supportiveness towards partners are evident as highly prized attributes. After a long period of “distancing” and dissociating, physical touch and non-verbal communication play more significant roles again, while fostering a deeper connection and unspoken understanding between partners becomes more prevalent in relationship building.

In this transformative period, new techniques in grooming, relating, and love-making such as Tantra, may come to the forefront, emphasising the power of physical touch, presence in non-verbal communication, and intuitive communion as pathways to deeper intimacy and connection. These practices can enhance the building of relationships based on reliability, supportiveness, and a profound appreciation for the small, beautiful aspects of love. The focus shifts towards cultivating a solid foundation and fostering unspoken understanding between partners, allowing for a heightened level of intimacy and synergy with the ancient rhythms of the human body.

    Challenges and Room for Growth
It is wisest to be aware of the potential challenges and avoid the pitfalls of Jupiter’s transit through Taurus, particularly if Jupiter is afflicting a fixed planet or point in your chart. I have listed the main areas to watch, along with attitudes to cultivate for growth and improvement:

Attachment to rigidity and resistance to change: There is a risk of becoming too attached to rigid and static approaches in enjoying resources, which can hinder our confidence in achieving financial stability and personal growth. To overcome this challenge, we must embrace flexibility and openness to change. Cultivating a dynamic mindset, being open to new experiences, and challenging our fundamental values and beliefs can lead to personal growth and abundance.

Overemphasis on material wealth and possessions: This transit may amplify our focus on material wealth and possessions, potentially leading to a shallow and wasteful mindset. To counterbalance this, it is wise to strike a healthy balance between enjoying material resources and recognising that true abundance goes beyond material possessions. Practising humility, being mindful of our spending habits, and valuing experiences over material accumulation can contribute to our overall well-being.

Risk of developing a sense of superiority and impulsive spending: Jupiter in Taurus afflicting our chart can increase the risk of developing a sense of entitlement and superiority of ‘ownership’, leading to using money or title to bully or suppress. Impulsive or reactionary spending could result in financial troubles. To address this challenge, it is essential to let go of stubbornness and cultivate humility. Recognising that personal growth involves giving way to tolerance, acceptance, and charitability can help manage impulses and make happier relations and wiser financial decisions.

Balancing personal causes and social impact: This transit often fuels our drive to uplift and enlighten others, but there can be a challenge in effectively applying the idealistic concepts we espouse. It is important that we practice what we preach and strive to become prime examples of the ideals we advocate. Open-mindedness, flexibility, and being receptive to different perspectives can help us avoid becoming opinionated or dogmatic.

Overindulgence and excessive expectations: With a tendency to accumulate resources and retain power, there may be a risk of overindulgence, wasteful excess, and unrealistic expectations. It is crucial for us to practice moderation and curb expanded sensual appetites. Being mindful of our habits and actively managing resources can help prevent inertia and dullness of the senses.

Balancing economic expansion and long-term control: Jupiter’s transit through Taurus may ignite a strong desire for financial expansion and extended control. However, over-commitment and overconfidence in financial dealings can pose risks. To avoid catastrophic reversals, it’s crucial that we maintain a realistic perspective, seek wise counsel when making financial decisions, and avoid overextending ourselves. Striving for balance and endurance in economic activities can contribute to long-term success.
During Jupiter’s transit through Taurus, these challenges present opportunities for personal growth and a deeper understanding of our relationship with resources and material wealth. By embracing flexibility, cultivating humility, and practising moderation, we can navigate this period with greater wisdom and unfettered access to the abundance that is around us."

"Holding Your Ground": The NEW MOON at 28°25' TAURUS, Friday, May 19, 2023, 15:54 UTC
    ANG STOIC
    MAY 18, 2023
    https://angstoic.substack.com/p/hold...m_medium=email

"Stand firm like a mountain, rooted deep into the earth, for it is in unwavering strength that we find our true power.

The Moon is in her element tonight, gracefully gliding across the vast expanse of the night sky.
But you will not glimpse her, for in the fading embers of the old lunar cycle, she stealthily readies herself to birth a New Moon.

In the 24 hours of her darkest phase, Luna defiantly emerges from the gloomy abyss of the recent eclipse season, passes respectfully before the Sun at 28º25’ Taurus, and sets us off in a whole new direction.
It's a decisive moment, one that carries immense significance, deserving of our utmost reverence as it beckons us towards uncharted territories.
In the wake of the Eclipses, those cosmic disruptors that recklessly unleash their primal energy, shaking the very core of our existence, propelling us into brave new territory, we also begin to make our peace with the quizzical trickery of Mercury's recent retrograde.
These past three weeks have been intense, even ominous at times, paying no heed to the delicate equilibrium of our lives.
The cosmic forces have been tearing through the tapestry of our realities with a raw and unbridled force that seems determined to rewire the very circuitry of our minds and reshape the core of our beings, all against the backdrop of a world left spellbound, immersed in a swirling tapestry of chaos and disarray.

Thankfully not every Sun-Moon conjunction is an eclipse.
As the placid Taurus Moon prepares to cast her luminous spell once again, we stand on the precipice of a new dawn, and there's nothing inherently sinister about it.

Our perceptions and responses to life are shaped by the radiant glow of the Sun-Moon partnership, the dynamic luminary duo that defines our individual aspirations against the context of our need for connection with others.
It's like looking through a pair of lenses; one focused on our self-development, the other on our relationships.

Ancient astrologers used to say that the Sun ruled the right eye and the Moon ruled the left.
When these two celestial bodies are in harmony, life feels pretty harmonious too. There's no inner conflict, and our wants align with our needs.
It's a moment of pure creative potential.
But tonight, as the moon wanes in her old cycle, we just know we’re on the cusp of a new beginning.
The New Moon in Taurus symbolises strength, resilience, and groundedness.
It's like standing firm on solid ground, unyielding in the face of challenges.
Taurus has a gritty quality to it—a down-to-earth nature that's as rugged as it is nurturing and sensitive.
The volatile Moon finds much solace in the fixed-earth realm of her exaltation.

In the final hours, before the synod resets, we're urged to let go of old narratives and shed the layers of the past.
The Moon's obscured presence—the "dark of the Moon," hints that our emotional sensitivity may be temporarily shrouded by the intensity of our drive for personal growth.
It's as if we become so focused, so single-pointed, that we might overlook the perspectives of others.
We must remember that life doesn't always fit neatly into our unified vision.

What awaits us in the coming days, the tempestuous tensions of a Fixed Grand Cross involving Mars in Leo, Jupiter in Taurus, Pluto and the Nodes, is nothing short of biblical in its proportions.
We spoke extensively about this “David and Goliath” battle in our most recent cosmic bus episode.
Despite facing overwhelming odds in their quest to free an entire species, the relentless determination of only a few propels us forward during this profound karmic realignment.
It's a testament to our unwavering resilience and unflinching commitment to reform draconian laws that threaten to stifle integrity and allow the freedom to speak truth to power.
Like seeds planted in tough soil, our dreams of liberation take root and grow.

The New Moon in Taurus, with her soft aspects to Mars in Cancer, and to the supernatural forces of Neptune and Pluto, invites us to claim the raw beauty of our desires, to honour our authenticity, and to find strength amidst the tumultuous uncertainty that engulfs us.
It's a time to ground ourselves, to connect with the Earth's energy, and to discover the alchemy that lies within our own hearts.

As the exalted moon sets her course for this new beginning, let us shed the burdens that hold us back.
With ardent passion, let us stand tall and face adversity head-on.
We can trudge through life's grittiest moments with resilience and vulnerability, finding the delicate balance between strength and sensitivity.

In this celestial convergence, we embark on a journey of self-discovery, unearthing the magic that lies within us."

    Reflections on the Taurus Stellium
    May 22, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/05/reflect...urus-stellium/

"True beauty doesn’t need a grand entrance or a loud announcement. It gracefully manifests itself in the quietest corners, unveiling its delicate charm when least expected. It’s like a flower blooming silently in the most unlikely place, at the most improbable time.

Similarly, genuine heroism and luck don’t seek the spotlight; they emerge slowly, like the dawning of a new day. They carry an unassuming aura of bravery and fortune, their significance growing quietly but steadily.

In the midst of the chaotic clamour and overwhelming clutter of this world, it is these subtle, unobtrusive qualities that endure and leave a lasting impact. They remind us that true permanence and significance are not determined by external displays of wealth, power, or superficial beauty.

Rather, it is the seemingly insignificant thoughts and actions of ordinary individuals that shape history’s course. These unpretentious souls, often overlooked and underestimated, convey profound ideas and perform meaningful deeds that can change the world.

Do not be deceived by the illusions of grandeur or the allure of superficial pomposity. Instead, let us appreciate the quiet stirrings of genuine beauty, heroism, and luck that reside within us all, waiting to be discovered, cultivated, and shared.

Mars now enters the fixed fray in loud’n’proud Leo, adding some spark to the divine crucifix. Ruler, Sun forms a perfect sextile in Gemini, with the Moon about to enter Cancer. Some seriously significant events are stirring… you know this. Look to the subtle stuff – do not be obtruded by the noisy distractions."

(This reading makes me think of some of the unassuming, self-starting online everyday youtuber heroes whose observations and discoveries I follow assiduously like Prepper Ben Davidson of SuspiciousObservers and self-educated earthquake predictor Dutchsinse.
More recently, scam busters like Team Bubba, Kitboga and Jim Browning.
All in their own way helping ordinary people to avoid whatever coming disasters of various kinds they may be subjected to.
And all without a lot of renumeration for their efforts, and putting themselves on the line from attacks in the process. )

    Darkness Before Dawn

    ASTROLOGY OF NOW

"Demons let off their foulest stench right before they are destroyed.

In the pits of our struggles, when it feels like all darkness has engulfed us, it’s wise to remember that the shadows loom largest just before the crack of light. This is true for those battling their inner demons, for it is in the moments before their vanquishing that they unleash their most ferocious, filthy and underhanded assaults.

It’s like that in our personal lives too, when we encounter the seemingly diabolical forces of our own psyche. Our lowest point must not be interpreted as evidence of our utter inner brokenness. Instead, it signifies that we are nearing discovering the light within ourselves. Shadows are mere projections that there is presence of light, and the more we shine, the more they reveal themselves.

As these hideous forces of darkness strive to derail us, we must acknowledge their vulnerability and just know that their most brutal attacks mean that we are close to exposing them, running side by side along our most rightful path. "

Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea”: LIBRA MOON on the VENUS/SUN/ERIS
    June 1, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/06/between...enus-sun-eris/

"The Libra Moon’s activation of the Venus/Sun/Eris warns against the dangers of remaining in a neutral or apathetic position, which can perpetuate injustice and distress, especially when troubled souls insist on spreading poison through their misplaced words and ideas. However, this is a strange situation where the courage to make decisive choices and the willingness to stand up and make others take responsibility for the consequences of their insidious designs leads us only into greater discord.

The Moon, in mutual reception to Venus, represents our emotions, instincts, and needs. Her presence within this ERIS-loaded T-square configuration suggests a heightened emotional charge during this transit. There may be a tendency for emotions to fluctuate between extremes, leading to internal conflicts and a sense of turmoil that is so highly charged emotionally, so subjectified, that it struggles to make any sense at all.

The Sun’s position in Gemini faces a significant challenge in this astrological configuration. It highlights the difficulties of finding a middle ground between harmony and complete discord. The concept of compromise, often associated with seeking balance, can sometimes dilute the truth and allow malicious intentions and misleading information to persist.

While this transit calls upon us to confront contradictions, acknowledge the existence of moral absolutes and actively denounce injustice and unethical principles, the T-square formation creates a messy exchange followed by an impasse. Within this dynamic, the power struggle and desire to make one’s point known may be overshadowed by emotions. After all the commotion, our efforts to make any sense at all will have failed to achieve any genuine understanding, and we will need to retreat.

This is indeed difficult, as it now leads towards Sunday’s Full Moon, as Venus heads towards the PLUTO-ERIS midpoint, when any controversial point carries a ‘damned if you do, damned if you don’t situation’. Note too, the quincunx between Mars/Saturn only adds to the frustration."

SATURN STATIONING TO RETROGRADE, 07°13′ PISCES (June 17, 2023)
    June 9, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/06/saturn-...-june-17-2023/

"Whether it ultimately leads us to spiritual self-mastery or plunges us into the pits of existential torment, darkness and despair, a stationing Saturn in Pisces pressures us to come to terms with past hurts, unresolved issues, and face any lingering unfinished business still dragging us down. That’s Saturn – Lord of Karma, laying over us the haunting funk of unfulfilled obligations.

When Saturn slows to a halt, the karmic gunk hangs low. For the next week or two, as it stations to retrograde at 07°♓13′ on June 17th, we can expect delays, frustration and the obligatory bummer of a summer.

Pisces is the last of the zodiac signs. What it symbolises most is the culmination of all our warped and weirded-out human experiences being laid out before us as we seek to distil their deeper meanings. Saturn, whose role is to crystallise experiences, make them solid and tangible, shows us that sometimes some things are best left alone.

Seems that some things, the more you pick at them and hold them up to scrutiny, the more problematic or nightmarish they get when manifested in the physical world. All our magical thinking, the parallel realities, the redundant escapism to our inner life, all our depressions, superstitious beliefs or irrational behaviour, when whacked by Saturn’s analytic ugly stick, only screws with the emotional vulnerability of Pisces, turning things into a right mess.

So Saturn in Pisces only induces an atmosphere of widespread paranoia or conspiracy fears, where we all start to believe that everyone else is plotting against us – a mindset that leads to collective self-pity and a sense of alienation and being uncared for by others. It’s unfortunate because it only obstructs the deeper magic and spiritual power that Pisces has to offer…

Avoid authorities and belief systems that lay on the guilt trips, sinfulness, insignificance, or meaninglessness, as they will not help nourish soul growth. Use Saturn’s selectivity and common sense to discern which spiritual beliefs you should adopt and who to listen to. Avoid anything that causes excessive guilt or submission to charismatic authorities (gurus), especially if you’ve experienced early-life hardships. If you’re feeling down, best keep to yourself. Maintain inner resilience and don’t get overwhelmed by the suffering of others. Establishing regular quiet time, such as through meditation or artistic pursuits, can help restore energy and maintain spiritual health. If you’re more robust and together, Saturn in Pisces energy can be channelled positively by serving and helping others in grief, particularly those who are struggling, in pain or in mourning. Engaging in charitable activities or volunteering can be rewarding and fulfilling.

As Saturn retrogrades through Pisces, it blesses us with the inner wisdom we need to deal with past mistakes and challenges. Saturn’s determination, combined with Pisces’ ability to manifest dreams, can bring visions to life and heal a troubled world. Staying power is crucial, as is the willingness to face rejection and conflict, but humility is also essential."

    PLUTO RE-ENTERING CAPRICORN
    June 11, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/06/pluto-r...ing-capricorn/

"Ok, so over the past 3 months, some of us might have caught a glimpse of what the future has in store for us. But Pluto’s not yet through with our decrepit past and our toxic fixations and deep-rooted grip on outmoded societal structures, material possessions, the old patriarchy and our pursuit of power in status-symbol land.

As Pluto retrogrades into Capricorn, he exposes the illusions and shadows that have shaped our most corporeal values and aspirations and, in doing so, annihilates it all as old dark face clears the road for what may lay ahead…

Pluto will spend from now until Jan 21, 2024, in Capricorn; this is an epic time, as is his ultimate return to cardinal/earth (Sep 2 – Nov 19, 2024). As he did back in 1777-1778 strips away the superficial layers, inviting us to question the foundations upon which we have built our identities.

During this retrospective, we are called to reevaluate our relationship with the trappings of “success” and the external markers of wealth, ambition and status-defined achievement

Quote PLUTO IN CAPRICORN: A RETROSPECTIVE

Reflecting on the past 15 years of global upheaval, destruction and reconstruction, as Pluto comes to the end of his ascent towards the dizzying heights of the Capricorn summit.
History teaches us much, so as a footnote, last time Pluto was breaching the Capricorn/Aquarius border (1777-1778), the American Revolutionary War, which began two years earlier, was ongoing and marking some decisive wins over the old empire; France’s imperial alliances with the emerging new nation would bleed the nation dry, leading to the French revolution in 1789. These years would usher in great intellectual and ideological developments that laid the foundation for another revolution. Ideas of equality, liberty, challenging existing social hierarchies gained traction, ultimately leading to the dismantling of the old patriarchy both in France and the New World.

Meanwhile, Russia, under the reformist rule of Catherine the Great, would decimate and weaken the Ottoman Empire, granting more autonomy to territories and signalling a decline in the empire’s 400-yr supremacy.

The late 18th century was marked by the spread of Enlightenment ideas across Europe and North America. Philosophers and thinkers promoted concepts of individual rights, reason, and challenging traditional authority, contributing to a broader shift away from old patriarchal structures.

The crumbling of old power structures also cleared the way for new ideas to be generated in science, business and commerce. The Industrial Revolution, which also began in the late 18th century, brought about a profound transformation of economies from agrarian to industrial, the emergence of a new middle class and the restructuring of social hierarchies, the introduction of disruptive technological advancements (steam power, mechanisation, factories), urbanisation (replacing rural landscapes), and the rise of social and labour movements, all deeply challenging established power structures.

Pluto spends 20 years in the revolutionary Aquarius. The transformational shift, akin to the relatively short but significantly impactful Pluto-Uranus transits, is dramatic and filled with all kinds of upheaval. Learn to say goodbye with as little sentimental attachment as possible."

"As we’ve been discussing, when Neptune crosses a new lunation, maintaining a sceptical stance is crucial. Trust none of what you hear, and doubt everything you see before you. Learn to use your nose to sniff out nonsense.

The whole point of these misinformation, disinformation, wish-information, and fish-information campaigns goes beyond just messing with your mind or pushing a certain agenda. Their ultimate goal is to undermine your capacity for critical thinking and obliterate the concept of truth itself. Double-check, even triple-check, your sources diligently. Learn to draw boundaries and place little red flags wherever you smell bs.

Trust only in one thing – that in due course, devoted and extensive research will unveil hidden truths that currently elude us. The vastness of the subject at hand has warranted not just a single lifetime but a long succession of generations devoted to the pursuit of knowing the ultimate answer. We are nearly there. Our ancestors have worked hard, sacrificed everything to give us this; bless them. But we are also dangerously close to being eradicated. One wrong step, and we’re out. Those of us who survive will inevitably reach a point where we will be astounded by the lack of awareness regarding matters that will soon (if not already) appear self-evident.

Many incredible discoveries await us, ready to clear the air of all past remnants of greed, ignorance and suffering in a single transformative instant."

“Out Of This World”: The NEW MOON at 26°43′ GEMINI, Sunday, June 18, 2023, 04:37 UTC
    June 18, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/06/out-of-...2023-0437-utc/

    "Greetings Fellow Travellers,

It is New Moon time (again), and with each blessed new cycle, we come together to read about the marvelous phenomenon of our Luna’s alignment with Sol, this time in the witty and vivacious sign of Gemini.

At precisely 04:37 UTC on June 18, the Moon will enter her invisible phase where her illuminated side faces towards the Sun and away from our Earth. For those who still look up to the night skies, this dark moon phase holds a variety of mysteries and profound influences that shape our experiences during this time.

During New Moon, we are imbued with a profound sense of self-containment and self-acceptance; we become focused on our own identity and inner power, harmonising our conscious will with our emotional responses. Guided by this alignment, we are invigorated to act on instinct and make decisions based on our immediate reactions, trusting our gut feelings. Life flows most naturally at New Moon time, allowing us to navigate with effortlessness and ease, focusing all our attention on specific areas of our lives, such as our home and family or the particular facet of our birth chart that the Sun/Moon conjunction edifies.

While the New Moon phase empowers us with a pronounced sense of personal focus, it can also narrow our perspective and hinder our understanding of others’ experiences. At the peak of the New Moon, our drive to fulfil our basic needs is influenced by internal patterns shaped by past experiences and internalised conditioning, leading us to often feel compelled to be a certain way, driven by a sense of destiny or a higher purpose. However, in these transformative times, it is essential to deeply reflect on our unconscious selves and the impact of our past behaviours. The New Moon offers an opportunity to realign our habits, moods, and subconscious mind, bringing them into higher consonance and rhythmic flow with our present circumstances.

In any sense, regardless of our level of consciousness, whether deliberate or instinctive, New Moon is a time to set an intention…

    THE GEMINI PERSPEX
When the Sun and Moon align in Mercury-ruled Gemini, our lens on life becomes bifocal and multifaceted. Through the mutable/air perspex, we witness life with heightened alertness and versatility. Our ingenuity shines through, and we excel at problem-solving, quick to provide a smart and logical solution to everything. Sourcing data becomes our superpower as we absorb information like sponges, retaining it effortlessly and ready to disseminate it to a wide range of interests. The world seems to spin faster on its axis in the Land of Blah, and we thus eagerly adopt the excitement of the new and the unknown.

However, with this heightened intellectual energy comes the nose-bleeding challenge of maintaining mental focus and discernment. Our breezy mind propels us to explore anything and everything if only at its surface level, and though we do become aware of much, we must mind not to blow too fast, not to disperse our resources and fritter away good, solid possibilities to get ahead in our discussions. Gemini’s ever-changing and unpredictable nature may lead us to ambivalence, making it difficult to determine our allegiances in our argument, whom we want to speak with and what it is we even wish to say. It’s therefore crucial to master our mental self-control and to develop the ability to channel our brilliant minds and communicative skills ethically and construct our premises effectively.

Also, whilst the Gemini New Moon endows us with enhanced communication skills and a verbose gift of gab, we must tread carefully to avoid inadvertently hurting others with our quick wit and sharpish tongue. By focusing these energies and harnessing their potential, we can set our lunation intentions with a purpose for adaptability, genuine human intelligence, and a touch of humour.

    MERCURY IS ALSO IN GEMINI
Of course, with Mercury the Trickster, the dispositor of this lunation, also in his domicile of Gemini, the tendency for our active, curious minds to behave like a highly charged particle becomes even more pronounced. We flit from one idea to another without delving deep or fully committing, letting our minds run away with playing tricks on us, while simultaneously having a joke upon the world.

The trickster, a captivating figure in myth and folklore across every culture, embodies wit, deceit, and boundary-breaking. Unlike the harmless yet naïve fool, the trickster is a master of mischief and often exposes our poor choices. These threshold-crossing agents of change remind us to guard against deception, embrace laughter as a transformative force, and confront our fears of change. They are both creators and destroyers, revealing the paradoxical nature of the human condition. By acknowledging their presence and seeking balance, we open ourselves to the possibility of transcending societal restrictions and discovering profound unity amidst apparent duality.

It takes a square aspect from Saturn to introduce limitations, inhibitions, and challenges in expressing trickster thoughts and ideas. Interestingly, with Saturn in Pisces, the discipline is subtle, almost ethereal, as if transmitted along psychic lines and from alternative dimensions. And yet it is there. A sense of disbelief, a stoic cynicism and knowing our limits, even when they’re clearly not visible, is necessary here.

For those more susceptible to social conditioning and fear, the multitude of airwaves now abuzz with way-out ideas can lead to narrow-mindedness, bigotry and an ignorant resistance to any news that doesn’t gel with their ideas of sound and logical sense, and a denial of necessary learning and acceptance of facts. Cultivating the mental fortitude, concentration, and discipline required to harness our creative potential may require conscious effort or external motivation. In any case, a sense of healthy scepticism must be taken when…

    …NEPTUNE SQUARES THE LUNATION
The lunation’s square to Neptune, ruler of alternative realms, introduces challenges in differentiating reality from fantasy and lies, opening the floodgates to all kinds of confusion and distorted misconceptions. Emotions become ungrounded at this time as the imagination runs wild, while misshaped memories intertwine with future projections, creating such unprecedented disturbances with the rational mind that we may not be able to see clearly. With the prevalence of artificial intelligence and speculative talk about extraterrestrial visitations, etc, we may likely see a rising tendency to veer off into abstractions and avoid human reality by seeking solace in the world of fantasies and sci-fi fairy tales. Maintaining emotional stability and a sense of responsibility will be most difficult for those already prone to credulity and wildly impressionable behaviour. We must work hard to keep our senses, for it is a fine line between the masterful trickster and the naive fool.

Trying to avoid hurtful past experiences and unresolved emotions can give rise to suspicion, fear and addictive behaviours. Caution must be exercised to avoid escapism or involvement in religious, sociopolitical or mystical cults blurring the lines between reality and unreality. Furthermore, the square to this lunation from Neptune poses challenges which hinder our sense of self-identity and goal attainment, stemming from conflicts within parental relationships.

    GODDESS VOODOO
A number of feminine planets and asteroids are tightly embroiled in this lunation, leaving a lasting resonance on our emotional perceptions.

Most significantly, the New Moon’s conjunction to Juno, who is associated with marriage, partnerships, and committed relationships, suggests that these themes may loom large, albeit superficial or lacking depth due to the Gemini modality. Whilst it implies that there may be a need for much discussion in our connubial affairs, some marriages may exist in name only, their nuptials serving merely as a facade or fulfilling superficial or officious purposes. The square aspect to Neptune further emphasises the notion of binding contracts not worth the paper they’re written on, appealing only in the figment of someone’s fanciful imagination.

The presence of a strong Venus semisquare (45º) will affect the magnetic resonance of our thoughts and ideas by creating a lack of appreciation or affection, leading to feelings of being ignored by loved ones. Negative vibes cause us to respond curtly to close friends and relatives and push rather than attract. Since we are more prone to be easily cut and wounded by thoughtless words and actions, we may be more inclined to safeguard our own interests by taking a proudly protective stance. Over the coming weeks, as Venus prepares to enter her retrograde shadow (June 19), we will be haunted by the echoes of our past relationship choices, a chance to reflect upon and learn from any patterns of poor or distasteful choices.

The square to this lunation from Ceres, the goddess of nurturing and motherhood, highlights the tension between our personal ideals and our role as parents. Ceres in Virgo, opposing Neptune in Pisces, urges us to find a balance between practical caregiving and embracing our spiritual nature. It calls for establishing healthier boundaries in parenting and integrating spirituality into our daily lives.

    SYNOPSIS:
In steering through the mental complexities of all our relationships during this time, it is wise to approach them with compassion and understanding. Like its trickster-ruler Mercury, Gemini brings out our cleverness, but sheer wit alone doesn’t necessarily solve the deeper issues. Words can be weapons, sharper than knives. However, talking about the things we see, if indeed we can see clearly during this time, allows us to talk about the most arcane and precious things.

Recognising the potential for heightened emotional vulnerability and the presence of hidden neuroses, it is essential to establish and respect emotional boundaries around what we talk about and with whom. Partnerships, marriages, and weddings may encounter tremendous challenges and conflicts that require careful attention and honest reflection. Similarly, issues pertaining to children demand thoughtful consideration, encompassing ethical and legal matters with an overall focus on the well-being of those involved. Let us be mindful that there are those who specialise in the healing power of words.

At the heart of our sacred intention this month lies the commitment to being impeccable with our own words. The highest resonance of Gemini emphasises the importance of speaking with integrity, refraining from gossip, and avoiding negative or hurtful language. By being mindful of the impact our words can have on ourselves and others and choosing to communicate honestly, authentically, and with kindness, we can foster trust, build stronger connections, and create a more harmonious and compassionate world."

    SUN ENTERS CANCER

    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/06/sun-ent...-bus-tomorrow/

"Did I hear someone say Gemini season was a bit nuts? Umm, wait till you see what’s about to go down during Cancertime (happy Solstice!)…
…almost everything comes to a station during the next month; some planets will remain around the same degree all month.
That’s a lot of tension and suspense, and of course, retrogrades have already begun with hardcore malefics Pluto and Saturn, and many of us feel the intensity and gravity of our past bearing consequences.

CANCER season means meetings revolve around taking things personally, meaning that more often than not, someone generally tends to interpret events, actions, or words being directed specifically at them as personal attacks or criticisms…

Cancer season, culminating with the Cancer Sun opposing Pluto at the anaretic degree on Sat Jul 22, 2023, brings our sensitivities and past traumas to the forefront. Over the next month, our cosmic bus journey delves into the dynamics of our relationships, whether with our family members, our ancestors, or our inner selves.
We explore how personal triggers, wounds, and suffering often serves as catalysts for healing and awakening, and we gain insight into the insidious influence of unresolved ancestral abuse and trauma passed down through generations.

As we become increasingly aware of our unconscious collusion with the forces that dominate and victimise us, we call in the wounded healer within to help initiate our journey into the unfathomable depths of the unconscious. We travel deep into the hidden realm between our past and future, trying to reframe our current experiences in a way that precipitates healing and release. "

“The New Tower of Babel”: VENUS/MARS in LEO SQUARE URANUS and MERCURY in GEMINI SQUARE NEPTUNE
    June 26, 2023
    ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/06/the-new...quare-neptune/

"What happened to you? You used to have a reasonably decent life. You had a job and family and friends; you were healthy. You knew some stuff, but not too much. You weren’t the most handsome, but so what? You generally stayed in your lane, finding comfort and security within familiar bounds. Above all, you knew your place in the world, and if you ever got too big for your boots, there was always someone around to knock you down to earth, quicksmart. And then, suddenly, it was as if the world beneath you underwent a seismic shift, and the power of social media came along and recalibrated the way we all lived our lives, and you, like most of us, found yourself caught up in the tidal wave of transformations, trying to keep afloat and adapt to all the changes that unfolded before you….

As VENUS/MARS in LEO SQUARES URANUS and MERCURY in GEMINI SQUARES NEPTUNE, we take a look at the New Tower of Babel:
At first, the allure of social media was irresistible. We marvelled at the ability to connect with friends and acquaintances from all corners of the globe, bridging the gaps of distance and time. We revelled in the convenience and immediacy of sharing our thoughts, experiences, and photographs with people we had never even met, with just a few taps on our phone screens. It was a brave new world, and we eagerly embraced it because it allowed us to express that special, curated version of ourselves that we wished everyone to like, share, and celebrate.

But as the influence of social media seeped into our daily routines, we couldn’t help but notice the subtle shifts in our behaviours, attitudes, and relationships. The boundaries between our online and offline lives began to blur, as the virtual realm infiltrated our physical existence.

Like in the fabled Tower of Babel, the vision of ultimate unification stood tall before us, a digitised symbol of humanity’s ambitions and inherent folly. In the biblical story, people united under one language, one common ideology, building a tower reaching the heavens. In today’s retelling, the rapid expansion of social media platforms, with their vast networks and endless streams of information, had the power to bring us closer together while simultaneously separating us.

We became consumed by the incessant need for validation, measuring our worth in likes, comments, and followers. Our self-esteem became intricately tied to the digital metrics of popularity and acceptance. The fear of missing out on the latest trends, events, or viral sensations created an insatiable desire to constantly stay connected and updated.

Our once-diverse social circles transformed into echo chambers, where we were surrounded by voices that mirrored our own beliefs and perspectives. The algorithms governing our feeds learned our preferences and tailored the content to cater to our biases. We became unwittingly trapped in a feedback loop, where our existing viewpoints were reinforced while alternative ideas were pushed to the periphery.

The constant bombardment of carefully crafted lives, idyllic images, and the newborn exemplars of social media influencers had an insidious effect on our sense of self. We found ourselves comparing our achievements, appearance, and experiences to meticulously stylised personas that seemed to have it all. Inadvertently, we began to judge our own lives against these inconceivably unattainable standards, leading to feelings of inadequacy, envy, and anxiety.

As the lines between reality and fiction blurred, so did our ability to discern truth from falsehood. Misinformation and fake news spread like wildfire, amplified and accelerated by the viral nature of the medium. Whether we wanted to or not, we, like everyone on the planet, became unwitting participants in the global dissemination of unverified media disinformation, unwittingly contributing to the erosion of trust in established institutions and the destabilisation of public discourse. And the irony here is that we all swore that this was a conspiracy. We could have turned it off any time, but funnily enough, either the thought never occured to us or we just didn’t have the strength to do it.

In any case, within each crisis lies an opportunity for resolution. Just as the mythical Tower of Babel collapsed, we also have the chance to rebuild and reshape our relationship with social media. We need to recognise the inherent dangers and consequences that come with its power and abuse, and consciously work to break free from its addictive, mind-whacking grasp.

First and foremost, we need to cultivate better digital literacy; educate ourselves and others about media literacy, critical thinking, and rigorous fact-checking. By equipping ourselves with the skills to stay afloat among the digital deluge that forms the vast sea of information, we can become more discerning consumers and valuable contributors to online conversations. We must develop the ability to distinguish those who speak the truth from those who seek to draw us into the vortex of their own personal disillusionment.

Secondly, we need to reclaim our agency and autonomy. We should take breaks from social media, establishing boundaries and limits that allow us to disconnect and engage in activities that nourish our minds, bodies, and relationships. By consciously stepping away from the virtual world, we can rediscover the value of face-to-face interactions, genuine connections, and meaningful experiences.

Furthermore, we must foster true, unconditional empathy and understanding. Instead of retreating into the self-validating portal of our respective echo chambers, we should actively seek out diverse perspectives, engage in respectful dialogue, and promote kind, respectful discourse in our interactions. By celebrating the bountiful richness of human diversity and the creative human mind, we can break free from the narrow confines of our own ideological bubbles and work towards a more inclusive and compassionate society.

Lastly, we need to advocate for responsible use of social media platforms. We should push for transparency in algorithms, ethical data practices, and stricter regulations to curb the spread of toxic trollmongering, hate-culture, malignant attempts at misinformation, shadow-banning, unconstitutional censoring, and safeguard our privacy and the sanctiity of our precious communities. By holding governments, social media companies and individual bad actors accountable and demanding change, we can shape a more responsible and balanced digital landscape.

The collapse of the Tower of Babel brought about a hive of horrendous consequences. As the story goes, the people’s collective unity and common language were shattered, and they were scattered across the earth, unable to understand one another. This fragmentation led to deep divisions, mistrust, and the breakdown of communication. Similarly, in the context of the social media age, the consequences have been equally troubling.

One of the worst outcomes of the social media revolution is the erosion of genuine human connection. Despite the promise of connectivity, social media has often fostered superficial relationships and replaced meaningful interactions with fleeting exchanges. This narrowing of perspectives and exacerbation of ideological divisions has resulted in people becoming less willing to engage with differing viewpoints and more inclined to dismiss or attack those who hold opposing opinions, further fueling societal polarisation. Individuals have become more focused on cultivating their phoney online personas and seeking external validation rather than getting any integral ideas across. The real shame here is that this has led us into a widespread, devastating sense of loneliness, isolation, and even depression.

At this point, the world needs to take a step back and regroup. Yes, of course, the power of social media has reshaped our lives in profound ways. But it is up to us to determine how we’re going to steer through this daunting new reality. This social displacement and erosion of trust pose a significant threat to the foundations of a well-functioning society. By learning from the consequences of the Tower of Babel, we can forge a path forward that harnesses the highest potential power of social media while preserving our authentic individuality, fostering genuine connections, and rebuilding the foundations of trust and understanding in our communities again."

Thank you for this, Onawah, this makes so much sense to me, especially the last two paragraphs.

And I think it has become especially difficult for the younger generations, those who were brought up with social media while simultaneously no longer having a strong family unit to help them deal with any problems arising. The engineered break-up of the family unit, now in full swing, makes it so much harder to find strength and belief in themselves and to recognize the values that really matter in life.

"Whose husband dedicates innumerable hours exploring distant galaxies and alien civilizations, yet fails to exhibit any interest in delving into the labyrinthine corridors and secret chambers of his own woman’s mind—a mysterious world so foreign and unsettling it remains securely hidden, tightly concealed behind a fortress that only he himself has bolted and sealed shut?

In the Uranian freakzone, how are you hoping to make contact with distant worlds when you can’t even connect with those next to you, your own kind, who speak your own language. Your fellow humans are the most distant form of alien intelligence. Seek treatment. You’re dissociated.

So yup… in a world dominated by men and their rigid codes, archaic customs, frat-boy contests and an insatiable penchant for wargames, women (and all those scrambling to become non-men) now find themselves a little lost, adrift in a strange terrain, feeling like aliens in an uncertain future.

What good is your ’empowerment’ if you cannot use it to stomp out, or at least step away from the toxic elements that proliferate the oppressive nature of reality?

Stop wedding into reptilian consciousness, bearing its children. We are heading into unchartered territory (Terra incognita), perhaps extinction. Let your conscience serve as a compass for forging the right path that aligns with your core values and principles."

    “Heating Up”: JULY 2023 FORECAST
July 1, 2023 ASTROLOGY OF NOW
    https://angstoic.com/2023/07/heating...2023-forecast/

    Jul 1 – Mercury Superior Conjunction to Sun (09º ♋ 09′)

Mercury will pass on the far side of the Sun, furthest from Earth, ending its visibility in the morning sky and transitioning to an “evening star”. Our winged messenger will be unobservable for weeks due to the Sun’s glare.

Jul 1 – Closest approach of Venus (21°♌11′) and Mars (24°♌39′)

Hot before she slows to retrograde later this month, VENUS (peace & love) comes closest to MARS (sex & war) in fiery LEO, but can’t catch him. Instead, MARS pursues ATHENA (political strategy, justice warrior), finally catching up with her on July 11, first degree of Virgo.

    Jul 3 – FULL MOON Capricorn (11º ♑ 18′)

…brings a culmination of ambitions and responsibilities. The Moon, in its fall in Capricorn makes it difficult to express our emotions freely, prioritising practical considerations over emotional needs, its energy heavy or restrictive. Patience and perseverance to overcome frustrations, delays and obstacles that lie ahead, later this month. Tensions with Mars/Athena sees anger brewing over strategic alliances that go against us. It’s not personal, just business (but you’ll take it personally all the same, and make it HARD).

Things start get crazy in the head around July 10, when touchy Mercury at the 29º of Cancer gets bit by Pluto, and it’s as if somebody pushed the wrong button to turn all hell inside out.

Talk about things on edge… Mars/Athena and the Nodes also about to switch signs. Mars will then move into Virgo to oppose Saturn and I think I mentioned about the Unholy Cross between Pluto and Nodes later this month."
