Ljóst varð að eldgos hefði hafist við Fagradalsfjall á tíunda tímanum í kvöld. Samhæfingarmiðstöð almannavarna hefur verið virkjuð. Viðbragðsaðilar hafa sagt að mikilvægt sé fyrir fólk að halda kyrru fyrir og fjarri svæðinu. Meira.

    Giggle-translate:
It became clear that an eruption had begun at Fagradalsfjall at ten o'clock tonight. The Civil Protection Coordination Center has been activated. Responders have said it is important for people to stay calm in and out of the area

"2021 Hurricane forecast is based on continuing La Nina conditions in the Pacific, but there are huge irregularities in high and low pressure systems through the oceans. Add in the fact that agriculture is being hit with wave after wave of out of season cold waves, this has all the fingerprints to atmospheric disturbances beginning as we have seen in the outer planets over the last 18 months."

"Artificial Intelligence has forecast Grand Solar Minimum level sunspot activity beginning now through 2050, this has made it through the main stream media. Interestingly, the same information was released in 2015 by Valentina Zharkova but denied and dismissed. Why is this solar activity information being released at this moment ? Is it to explain why all continents are experiencing crop damage and yield reductions from abnormal cold? My findings and thoughts are explained in the video. Thank you for watching."

Uncut and Unseen: Greenland Tsunami (2017) (6:09)
In the evening of June 17th, 2017 (at about 9:40 pm local time), a gigantic landslide (measuring 300 m × 1,100 m = 980 ft × 3,610 ft) occurred on the southern slope of the Umiammakku Nunaat peninsula. Several dozen million cubic meters of rock and slope sediments fell about 1 km (3,300 ft) into the Kangilleq fjord, which triggered a tsunami that moved westward into the Karrat fjord complex. The tsunami wave, which was initially over 90 meters high (about 300 ft.), reached the small village Nuugaatsiaq with a wave height of about ten meters (about 30 ft.). It took the catastrophic tidal wave only seven minutes to cover the 32 kilometers distance to Nuugaatsiaq, which means it reached an average speed of 275 km/h. The tsunami dragged four people out to sea, who have since been considered dead. Furthermore, seven people were slightly injured and two people were seriously injured by the catastrophic natural disaster. Eleven buildings were destroyed. Rescue helicopters brought the approximately 200 local residents to the district capital of Uummannaq.

Massive Active Volcano in Antarctica; Mount Erebus

"Despite the bitter cold of the region, Antarctica is host to one of the most active volcanoes on the planet. Known as Mount Erebus, this volcano has been constantly erupting since 1972 and is erupting right now. Erebus is one of the few volcanoes on the planet which contains an active lava lake in its summit. This video covers the recent eruptions from this volcano, and states the general hazard which it poses in the future.
This video was made by a geologist who is based in Arizona."

Note this from the quote below: In a follow-up reading he said there will also be upheavals in the Arctic and Antarctica which will make for eruptions in the torrid areas and will result in a shifting of the poles (magnetic reversal).

The following was posted here: https://projectavalon.net/forum4/sho...=1#post1415568
"Dark Journalist talks about Mt Etna erupting and Edgar Cayce's predictions about it.
Starting at one hour, 3 minutes into his latest talk "The State of Emergency Powers".https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V_-_65U9UuQ
Mt. Etna is really blowing its top now. See: https://youtube.com/watch?v=ozjnoUfFqko
DJ cites volcanic and asteroid activity, the lockdown, and asks is there a connection?
He, Farrell & Fitts think so, and Cayce predicted that in the 21st Century (in a reading 270-5 from 1936), that if Vesuvius or Pelee become active, then 3 months following that, the southern coast of CA and parts of Nevada and the Great Salt Lake area will experience an inundation of earthquake activity.
Also mentioned was unrest in Syria and Iraq.
In a follow-up reading he said there will also be upheavals in the Arctic and Antarctica which will make for eruptions in the torrid areas and will result in a shifting of the poles (magnetic reversal).
And a lifeline of land will be needed between Greenland and Canada and California.
DJ mentions in this context the Davis Strait (a northern arm of the Atlantic Ocean that lies north of the Labrador Sea. It lies between mid-western Greenland and Baffin Island in Nunavut, Canada.)
Cayce said that if there is volcanic activity at Mt. Etna and then in the volcanos in the South Pacific, then that is the signal beginning all the above.
DJ says he thinks that time has arrived and this will all be covered more in the Hot Zone presentation....

( I don't think I've ever seen an estimation from Cayce as to how long the timeframe is within which all this would take place, and there is controversy as to how long a pole reversal might take.
I believe scientists say there seem to have been variations in that, from what they have observed of evidence of the timing of such shifts in the past.. .)

China Braces For Summer Of Floods As 97 Rivers Exceed Warning Levels

    by Tyler Durden
    Thursday, May 27, 2021 - 11:00 PM

China braces for another dangerous flood season with 97 rivers already exceeding warning levels as of Thursday, according to Chinese state media Global Times. Major floods are expected this summer, and Western media will soon be drumming up headlines about how confidence in China's flood control capabilities is faltering.
Water levels along the Yangtze River basin and its tributaries are expected to increase over the next week, the Ministry of Water Resources said, adding that major floods are possible throughout the country from June to August.

Wang Wei, an official with the flood and drought disaster prevention office of the Ministry of Water Resources, told state broadcaster China Central Television (CCTV) that total flood control capacity is approximately 69.5 billion cubic meters - most of the reservoirs have been discharged to full levels. He said the water level of the Three Gorges Reservoir is about 150.83 meters as of Wednesday and will decline through June 10.

Sun Chunpeng, director of the hydrological information and forecast center under the water resources ministry, told CCTV rivers of southern China are experiencing record-high levels. More precipitation is expected in the weeks ahead and could push river levels to even higher dangerous levels.

The country's largest freshwater lake, called Poyang Lake, located in Jiangxi Province, could have water above warning levels by the end of the week.
"This year's rainy season has come earlier than usual, but it is still within the normal range. Last year, China recorded record heavy rainfall, so the chance of this year being the same is low, but extreme weather is unpredictable due to the impact of global warming," Cheng Xiaotao, the former head for the Institute of Flood Control and Disaster Reduction, with the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research, told the Global Times.
QingMa Investment, a hedge fund based in Shanghai China, shows flooding risks are climbing for China.

Last summer's rainy season was the second-highest level since 1961, which triggered massive flooding and fears of the giant Three Gorges Dam failure that circulated across Western media.

It's about that time Western media becomes obsessed with China flooding stories and persuades the world that China's flood control capabilities are lacking.

Noctilucent clouds (NLCs) have been spotted over Poland, Czech Republic, Canada, and Scotland, among other countries, on May 25 and 26, marking an early start to the northern hemisphere's 2021 NLC season. The clouds are rapidly intensifying. In only four days since the clouds were first seen, their coverage of the Arctic has multiplied 10 times.

On May 26, 2021, photographer Andy Stables captured NLCs over Milovaig in the Isle of Skye, Scotland. "The NLCs got stronger and this was taken at 00:47 UTC (01:47 LT)," Stables said.

The electric-blue rippers "were clearly visible to the unaided eye," he added. "This is the earliest I have ever seen them here in Scotland."

Dr. Tony Phillips of spaceweather.com described the phenomenon as unusual, noting that the NLCs are already forming even though it is only May. Other witnesses are able to see the clouds from the ground.

"NLCs are Earth's highest clouds," said Dr. Phillips. "Seeded by meteoroids, they float at the edge of space about 83 km (52 miles) above the ground."

The clouds form when summertime wisps of water vapor rise up to the mesosphere, letting water crystallize around meteor smoke.

According to NASA, specks of meteor smoke act as gathering spots where water molecules can assemble themselves into ice crystals in a process called nucleation.

"Nucleation happens all the time in the lower atmosphere. In ordinary clouds, airborne specks of dust and even living microbes can serve as nucleation sites," NASA explained.

"Tiny ice crystals, drops of water, and snowflakes grow around these particles, falling to Earth if and when they become heavy enough."

Is all NA getting this heat wave or is it just the north west?

While I was complaining about minus -40c-ish (-40f) temps this last winter, we're now on the extreme other end of the spectrum - very early and record breaking heat for this time of the year and for many places. Our local forecast here is saying 41C (106f) here for Tuesday, 40c for Monday, and high 30's (~100f+) for the following week, with overnight lows higher than our average highs for this time of year. That's not normal for here.

Kamloops, 2 hours drive south is forecast by some weather sites to get up to 46C(115f) with all days next week at or over 40C.

Even on the coast, Abbotsford is expected to have humidex ("realfeel" - or humidity and wind adjusted tempt) of 47c(117f) -- pretty sure a lot of records are expected to be broken.

Pretty much all BC will be experiencing this heatwave to some extent. Over 40c for Kamloops isn't that unusual but for this early and for over a week straight certainly is. Where I am living it rarely gets over 35c even during the hottest summers.

    Alerts in Effect
    Heat Warning

    Issued at 04:30 Saturday 26 June 2021

A dangerous long duration heat wave will affect B.C. until Wednesday.

    Threat:
Daytime highs ranging from 31 to 38 degrees celsius combined with overnight lows of 14 to 16 degrees celsius.

    Locations:
North Thompson, North Columbia, Kinbasket, 100 Mile, Chilcotin, Cariboo, Prince George, Yellowhead, Williston, Bulkley Valley, Lakes District, McGregor, B.C. Peace River, Fort Nelson, Muncho Lake Park, Stone Mountain Park.

    Timespan: Now through Wednesday.

Remarks: An exceptionally strong ridge of high pressure will continue to build over British Columbia likely resulting in record breaking temperatures for the next few days. The duration of this heat wave is concerning as there is little relief at night with elevated overnight temperatures. This record-breaking heat event will increase the potential for heat-related illnesses, raise river levels due to glacier melt and increase the risk of wildfires due to drought conditions.

Moscow Melts in Historic June Heat Wave

Moscow, June 22 (AFP) Jun 22, 2021 – Moscow has been hit by a historic heat wave this week, with temperatures reaching a 120-year record due to the effects of climate change, Russia's weather service said Tuesday.

On Monday the Russian capital sweated under 34.7 degrees Celsius (94.5 degrees Fahrenheit), according to Roshydromet, matching the record for a June day from in 1901. The weather service, which has kept records since 1881, is forecasting temperatures above 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit) on the weekend.

"The increase in temperatures recorded in Moscow for these days is unprecedented in 120 years," Roshydromet meteorologist Marina Makarova told AFP.

    Historic Heat Wave Blasts Northwest

The Pacific Northwest sweltered Friday and braced for even hotter weather through the weekend as a historic heat wave hit Washington and Oregon, with temperatures in many areas expected to top out up to 30 degrees above normal. The extreme and dangerous heat was expected to break all-time records in cities and towns from eastern Washington state to Portland to southern Oregon as concerns mounted about wildfire risk in a region that is already experiencing a crippling and extended drought.

Seattle was expected to edge above 100 degrees Fahrenheit (38 degrees Celsius) over the weekend and in Portland, Oregon, weather forecasters said the thermometer could soar to 108 F (42 C) by Sunday, breaking an all-time record of 107 F (42 C) set in 1981. Unusually hot weather was expected to extend into next week for much of the region.

Seattle has only hit 100 F three times in recorded history, the National Weather Service said, and there was a chance it could eclipse the record of 103 F (39 C) on Monday.
