I DO recall two instances where a bigfoot was seen descending from a UFO; one in the U.S. Northwest & one in the mountains of S.A. somewhere. I would have seen those videos here on Avalon, but don't remember specifics!

I think the first thing to try and get one's head wrapped around is the question of Sasquatch being ET. I was watching a presentation of LMH recently where she eludes to there being sightings of Bigfoot standing together with ET's (can't remember which type/race)...which took me by surprise as I was not aware of this.
    This video @15.30 minute mark?

I agree that it is a piece of follage down by the thigh...and therefore not an indication of skinny legs...it's one thick thigh. Also, the first thing that struck me is the long arm (one of the first things I look for in a Squatch photo). I do not think it's a gorilla. I'm more than 50/50 here...I'll go 75/25 real deal.

    Thx for posting.

Sasquatch Chronicles and Bigfoot Tony are two of my favs these days. I became interested, very, about five years ago with my own experience. I'll have to write it up here to share when I have more time. Really glad to see more of the big fellow on the forum!

I really like the Thinker Thunker reviews. MK Davis is another fave of mine.

Would love to year your story, Kristin. I've long been fascinated by the subject (ever since I watched the Six Million Dollar Man meets Bigfoot episodes as a kid).

Here's another Bigfoot Tony review...this time of the PA white Bigfoot footage (which I find interesting in that most Squatch sightings in NA are dark brown / black). He doesn't seem to move like a human in a suit the way he leers around.

    OK!

So about five years ago my husband and I were house sitting in a very rural part of Northeastern Canada. I had a big garden in the back of the house right by thick woods and a large stream. It was beautiful there but very buggy as the stream drained into a large swampy area and that then drained into the ocean. Loads of black flies by the pound!

Now I like to spend hours in my garden, and I was often there alone while my husband was working. I had a health condition that had partially disabled me so the garden was my sanctuary. While working I wore my black fly netting and on a good day they did not swarm too badly and I could take it off. The air was very still that first day and I could not hear a sound, just the river running down the hill from me. It was very hot so I thought a small dip in the river would do me a little good!

I would often take such quick dips in the river and always had the uncanny feeling that I was being watched so I never lingered there long. Across the river and connecting both embankments was a large tree that had fallen. This tree had become the bridge that one could dangle your feet over, take a lunch break on, or use at night to support a lamp while soaking in the icy cold water beneath.

I was just thinking about taking a dip when I was surprised to see a small river stone come sailing 30 feet out of the bushes and land softly at my bare feet. Hmmm, who tossed that rock? I felt the intensity of knowing that behind that thicket on the side of the pine needle path to the river there was... something. Fisherman? Perhaps. Kid? Maybe, but there were no kids that I was aware of in our neck of the woods. I waited patiently for some sound, foot falls, anything at all to tip me off. Nothing happened. I rose up and walked down the embankment expecting to see an angler wading trying to catch a trout. Nothing was there.

The next day I went to the garden again at my usual time. To my surprise there were several bluejay feathers waiting for me right by the bush beans I had been weeding the prior day. The corn had been damaged by a few raccoons and also something else... There was a large print and a corn cob that had been pealed like a banana and eaten as a human would. The rest of the corn had raccoon bites right through the cob, leaves and all. The print was very large, human looking, and deeply embedded. I could not distinguish toes as it had stepped right on the landscaping carpet that I use to keep down the weeds. At the time I thought it may have been my husband who had stepped on the carpet and left the deep print (about 5 inches deep) but when I tried to make a similar impression I could not get the same results. With corn cob in my hand, I was nerved. Who is eating my corn? I harvested the rest that day and grumbling about those bastard raccoons who seem to wait for the very moment corn is ripe to begin demolishing it.

    Day 3
Bush beans are nearly finished being weeded. Where did all of these leopard frogs come from and why are they in my garden?!!! Frogs were jumping everywhere, his was highly unusual. We have a species called "leopard frog" that live in the nearby swamp, 1/2 mile away. However, they do not native the areas of fast cold water. These frogs were all over my garden and strangely out of place. I rounded them up (and that is a task as leopard frogs are quick and very hard to catch) I put them down by the stream with hopes they would float back down river to the swamp. Half the time I was chasing them down to the river, they can jump 10-15 feet at a leap easy! Now I was becoming convinced that something strange was going on.

    Day 4
Another stone is tossed through the brush expertly landing at my feet again. I lifted the stone, smooth calcite right out of the water. You could still smell the river on it. I rose up gently and gingerly walked over to the beginning of the path, where the thicket was. I then walked some 10 feet down the path, so I could get a look behind the thicket I was hit in the chest with a growl so deep that I felt it in my bones. I knew exactly what this was and what it was not.

I grew up in the woods on a 100 acre farm, I know the difference between a bear and a cat growling. This was neither of these. I also live on an islandwhere the largest animal is a coyote. We do not even have deer here but an abundance of birds. Geese, turkeys, pheasant, grouse... you name it; if it's a tasty bird it lives here. There are no bears, no mountain lions, nothing with this type of vocal power. We don't even have moose here, but this sounded as big as a moose.

I froze. I KNEW what this was, however, what do I do?!! I was caught between fear, intrigue, and panic. I put my hands out, palms up, in a gesture of supplication. The beast was only five feet away from me. That was all, just a bush between me and it. I tried to focus on it's mass, but it was so huge my mind seemingly could not comprehend. It was distorted. This made me feel like I was going mad. There was a massive distortion very much like from the movie predator when cloaked or when you look at a landscape on a very hot day and it gets all wavy.

I walked backwards back up the path and started talking. Yes, talking. I jabbered on an on about how "I don't mind sharing my garden, hope your having a good day, the river is beautiful isn't it?" As I walked backwards I found myself walking backwards into my garden and nearly fell. I looked down at the three healthy rows of bush beans and said out loud, "You can help yourself to these beans!"

    Day 5
Every bean in the garden was gone. Not one was left. They had been pinched off, no damage to the plants. I'm talking several hundred beans here.

By that fall the house was being slapped in the middle of the night. Our front kitchen door would be opened from the outside and swing open in the middle of dinner. One of the trees across the street would swing wildly every time I was doing the dishes and looking out the window, just the one tree and no wind.

I left apples, some of the garden, and once in a while a bit of apple pie on the log down by the river. I never did go swimming there again.

Loggers came and cut the trees on the other side of the road and the events close to the house took a quiet turn. When I would go for my daily walks or CC Skiing I would be followed by wood knocks. Sometimes I would knock back, sing a hello song, or just shout out a greeting. I never felt in danger, but cautious. With the cover of the woods gone, my husband and I bought our own property in another area of the Island and moved there.

I often think of those times, how magical they were. When our cat was hit by a car and more bluejay feathers and dead snakes appeared by the kitchen door. We buried the cat by the entrance to the forest path, I think there were more in attendance that day for Skuttlebutt's funeral then we could see. What the big fellow is doing now I can only imagine.

I think it may have been dangerous for us, I do not know. I know my curious mind overcame my fear and I accepted the interaction. Perhaps things would have taken a turn for the worse had the woods not been cut, or perhaps there was a certain joy felt in being accepted on both sides of each species. I know that for me it was a gift.

    From the Heart,
    Kris

What a beautiful, moving tale to tell! Thank you so much, Kristin! Kind of sounds like you two were taking each other's measure! I do remember reading the story of a woman who lived in the NW of the US, way out in the boonies. She had a Bigfoot that kind of "looked out for her" so I guess she had a type of "relationship" with the creature. Wish I could remember the source of the story, but I can't! What an amazing memory for you to have!

Thank you Foxie, I miss having those experiences! I often think of it now while walking and I often wonder when I'm getting that peculiar feeling whom else may be watching . I hope the big fellow is doing well. I think that I was being observed for a long time before there was any attempt at contact. I talk to my plants, always have. Perhaps that type of connection with the world is appreciated by others who are connected in ways we can only imagine?

    Hi Kristin,

I've read your story over a few times and I must admit, I admire how you reacted. My guess is that your gesture of sharing your garden, talking to the creature, hands out with palms down....showing him that you meant no harm...a sense of kindness....was well taken by the big guy. I do have one question here. Was there any odor or deep dark smell from the creature?? Often this is associated with Sasquatch encounters, so I was just curious.

    Again, thank you for sharing.

Just saw this on the BBC site , the suite does not look very good close up but
could possibly fool you at a distance , though not conclusive by any means....

Wandering shaman 'mistaken' for Bigfoot in North Carolina

    10 August 2017
From the section US & Canada

MacGregor says his shaman suit led to the 'mistaken identity'

A self-described shaman says a strange creature reportedly
spotted in the hills of North Carolina last week was actually
him dressed in animal skins. The "Bigfoot" sighting happened
last Friday in the Appalachian mountains, but the story took
an even weirder twist with a mistaken identity claim.

Gawain MacGregor says it was him wandering through the
forest on the night in question, 4 August. But a local group
claims the cryptid they saw could not have been him.

Bigfoot 911, a Facebook group of more than 5,700 members
that investigates sightings of the mythical Bigfoot in McDowell
County, western North Carolina, said photos displayed on Mr
MacGregor's website look nothing like the thing they saw.

Personally, I would never take the chance on wearing a Squatch suit for fear of some dumb@ss taking a shot at me wanting a trophy. Sure, I can see some photos/footage being hoaxes....but not all. There's definitely something to the Sasquatch phenomenon (and I have no doubt the US gov't knows more than they let on).
