    Hi Kristin,

I've read your story over a few times and I must admit, I admire how you reacted. My guess is that your gesture of sharing your garden, talking to the creature, hands out with palms down....showing him that you meant no harm...a sense of kindness....was well taken by the big guy. I do have one question here. Was there any odor or deep dark smell from the creature?? Often this is associated with Sasquatch encounters, so I was just curious.

    Again, thank you for sharing.

    Dave - Toronto
No smell, and that surprised me too! I was thinking on the lines of perhaps the smell is a glandular response to danger, or a marking of territory. When I've listened to encounters it seems that there was an accidental run in, guns involved, or some kind of stand off about to happen. What happened with me was very different, calm, not confrontational to either of us. I did get that growl warning when I was too close, but my reaction may have created a sense of security for us both. Your thoughts?

I think the first thing to try and get one's head wrapped around is the question of Sasquatch being ET.
Is an interdimensional being an 'ET'? One that is the genetic spinoff of modern man?

Quote I was watching a presentation of LMH recently where she eludes to there being sightings of Bigfoot standing together with ET's (can't remember which type/race)...which took me by surprise as I was not aware of this. Ancient Aliens devoted an entire episode to this theory. A similar possibility is Bigfoot being inter-dimensional which could explain his elusiveness (though I'm not sure I buy into this). Some folks think Bigfoot is super intelligent....and communicates telepathically and sometimes with other humans (this is a bit too far out there for me personally). I mean, is it as simple enough as Bigfoot being just a normal species that has yet to be found and classified...or is there a little more to it than that??

    Dave - Toronto
    LOT more than that.

sometimes this channel does a great job of teaching what to look for but this time it seems more of a stretch on some images, a few maybes. The photos arent showing what he infers and perhaps he is building an image from matrixing or pareidolia? This channel comes from the camp that Bigfoot is more an unknown primate. Some of the best evidence imo though comes from the other camp ie he is more than that. The best evidence Mike Patterson of Sasquatch Ontario channel is my favorite evidence still to date. The camps also portray the infighting in the paranormal field sadly, just like ghost and ufos... it shouldn't be that people have to choose camps in any research but must be hard.

this is one wild story, there must be some proof somewhere.... why pull the trigger so quickly? It sounds like it was premature, and personally would never go hunting with a person like that. Confirmed ID and waiting to see the intent of the scream perhaps it was a warning and not an attack? When is the time to make the decision to kill?

    Hi Kristin,

Thx for your response. You may be on to something there regarding glandular response to danger....I hadn't thought about that. I always figured that Squatch emitted a strong odor due to them not cleaning/washing themselves. Perhaps the big guy did not smell strongly in your particular case as it's possible that he was bathing/swimming regularly in the waters nearby your location. What I like about your story is, as you said, calm...non confrontational (hands extended outwards with palms down). That really struck a chord in me.

    Again, thx for sharing.

Hi Foxie, The 1960s?... is that when the Yeti attack happened in the mountains of Russia? There are some disturbing bigfoot stories out there no doubt and I support the defending of life. If a bigfoot was taking action to harm someone it would be necessary to stop it and as a hunter mostly during my time living in Alaska there were some hunters that did not do the right things in terms of when and what they were shooting at. There was the injuring of big game like moose that I personally witnessed by their miss-identification of the animal they were hunting. Most hunters though practice good gun safety and properly know when to take lethal action. Perhaps when this story I posted above happened the cultural norms allowed for more freedom and less discernment to shoot.

Some nice footage here. Squatch appears at 4:08 crossing the trail. I'd love to see a ThinkerThunker/MK Davis breakdown of this clip.

The FreEman fooTage has always been one of my favorites. That big guy definitely was familiar with Paul and totally showed himself it seems as almost a gesture. Being in the undeniable presence of him was almost too much. The way he films it says it all. Can't blame him as he was absolutely massive. You can see by how he moves how much weight is carried just walking around.

This is pretty decent evidence its just a shame there wasnt more snow around but to come across tracks crossing their path makes it compelling. We have to assume they didnt fake them though..

I have a buddy who lives in the Kawarthas and I'm always sending him clips of Squatch. He think's I'm off my rocker (aliens, squatch and the like....tinfoil hat).

Sasquatch Ontario has/had some nice stuff on You Tube....footprints, hand prints, audio recordings, presents left, etc. I think there was some falling out between him and the guy who owned the property in which he was on...and therefore he stopped posting. Not sure if that has been resolved or not.

Is anyone familiar with the Rick Dyer incident? Claims to have filmed and then killed a Bigfoot. I've seen his footage on You Tube quite a few times (just the tent footage)...but I had no idea that he claimed to have actually hunted the creature down and killed it (that makes me sad). Footage looks real though many people have called it a hoax. For the Squatch's sake, I hope this is a hoax because I abhor the thought of it being hunted and killed.

I followed that story very closely, as did FaceBookFindingBigfoot... the body was taken to Vegas of all places and that really put the idea of a hoax into my head big time. Still not sure though, but why Vegas? The guys from FBFB went to see the body and then they left the net for a long time, it seemed they were taken in by the whole thing. Not sure how it ended. I would like to chat about all of that with them somehow. They were allowed to view the body, but not touch it. (Could it have been a very good fake dummy?) These days they can construct creatures with real hair, and put the hair in soft rubber strand by strand. We've come so far in creating for film that it is impossible to tell the difference just by looking. But that may have been the point of you can only look not touch. They did not discuss a smell as far as I can recall.

..would love to visit that area, you can tell its SAS environment but the Pacific Northwest is my doorstep and so it makes sense to find a closer spot to look. The Blue Mountains in Northern Oregon/Southern Washington sound interesting and that where Freeman captured his bigfoot video and for camping and UFO skywatching. That would be a great vacation and who knows what you will see?
