    Impressive contributions, Mecklenburger. That'll take everyone a while to dig through. I'm not 100% sure what I think about the documents, but I lean 80% towards them being real, or at the very least a "true hoax". Nazi interest in the occult and Tibet... and the subject of the subterranean world in general, is an endlessly fascinating topic.

    I refer to Posting 3 above in which I suggested that the U-boats likely to have been used by the Kriegsmarine to pass through the sub-glacial corridors below Antarctica would have been Seehund class midget submarines. Because of the 500-km voyage involved, a closed cycle engine would have been indispensable.

    Hitler had agreed to the development of the Seehund type U-boats on 18 January 1944, the same month as when the Neuschwabenland charts were being drawn up at Dachau.

    At a conference chaired by Vize-admiral Heye on 21 May 1944, Kurzak, the Kriegsmarine representative for closed-cycle propulsion at Germaniawerft shipyard Kiel, proposed a system with a 95 hp boat's diesel running off 1250 litres of oxygen stored in the keel at 4 atmospheres pressure.

    Although capable of 11 knots, this unit would have managed the 500 km stretch always submerged at 3 knots. On the basis of these figures Kurzak was authorized to develop the engine already fitted experimentally to the variant Klein-Uboot K.

    Abtauchen an Punkt mit den Koordinaten: Exakter Schnittpunkt: 68° (55? 66?) südlicher Breite und 1° östlicher Länge, auf eine Tiefe von 400 Metern.


    Der Anweisung ist strikt zu folgen !

    1. Abtauchen. Vom Punkt des Abtauchens mit halber Fahrt, einer Steuerbord-Schräglage von 10° mit einer Zuglastigkeit, Neigungswinkel 5°. Entfernung 188 sm. Vorgegebene Tiefe – 500 Meter. (Aufgrund des Fahrens im Korridor ist der Druck auf den Schiffskörper beim Manövrieren ein unwesentlicher.)

    2. Auftauchen. Ballast mit einer Hecktrimmung, Auftauchwinkel 23° mit einer Backbord-Schräglage von 22°. 190 Meter nach oben. Entfernung 75,5 sm.

    3. Schwieriges Manöver ! Auftauchen. Ballast mit einer Hecktrimmung, Auftauchwinkel 41°. Fahrt – geradeaus. 110 Meter nach oben, Entfernung 21,5 sm. Danach Steuerbord-Schräglage von 8° bis zum Auftauchen an die Oberfläche in der Grotte. Entfernung 81 sm.

    4. Fahrt an der Oberfläche innerhalb der Grotte mit einer Steurbord-Schräglage von 8°. Entfernung 286 sm.

    5., 6. Schwieriges Manöver! Abtauchen. Mit einer Zuglastigkeit, Neigungswinkel 45°. Bis auf eine Tiefe von 240 Metern, Entfernung 60 sm. Danach mit einer Backbord-Schräglage von 20°, wobei das Abtauchen bis auf 310 Meter bis zur Einfahrt in den Korridor fortgesetzt wird.
    Nach der Marke 310 Meter ist das Abtauchen mit einer Zuglastigkeit fortzusetzen. Abtauchwinkel 7° bis auf 360 Meter. Entfernung 70 sm. Weiter Steuerbord-Schräglage von 31° bis auf eine Tiefe von 380 Metern.

    7. Abtauchen. Zuglastigkeit, Auftauchwinkel 22°. 100 Meter nach oben mit einer Backbord-Schräglage von 26°. Entfernung 43 sm.

    8. Auftauchen, Hecktrimmung, Auftauchwinkel 45°, immer geradeaus, bis zum Auftauchen an die Oberfläche von Agartha. Entfernung 70 sm.

    9. Fahrt nach Agartha. Volle Fahrt. Fahrt geradeaus, bis das neue Licht ausgemacht wird. Änderungen der Magnetpole. Bewegungen der Kompassnadeln und Messgeräte sind zu vernachlässigen!

    This is totally understandable and written very precise. These are instructions and thus witten in a kind of Telegraph-style. No old or antique german words in the sentence you picked out. If you wanted to give somebody instructions and want them to be short but precise you would today write nearly the same if not the same.

    Although one could argue, "bis das neue Licht ausgemacht wird" would today be more like "bis Sie das neue Licht sehen"
