Just found a friend request of hers in my inbox,
though I somehow remember having already accepted it - a decade ago, or so...

In case it's not painfully obvious to those here....don't get that Covid shot. I'm confident it's what lead to my uncles death last week. I mean, he's healthy, he gets a shot, and now he's dead. I wasn't all that close to him so I don't need condolences or sympathies, I'm more so angry than I am sad. It's just such a messed up situation. I'm not an anti vaxxer but even I think it's a bad idea putting that bull**** in your body.

A doctor, around the places i live, was 32 i believe, perfectly healthy and all, then he took the vaccine, he deteriorated in less than two weeks and by the end of 15 days he was dead, of a heart attack

Another friend proposed the following, which i thought maybe was crazy thinking or 'too far out there', but now i'm reconsidering, because this is happening all over the world, so is not just like "one batch that went bad at some city"

He said "Maybe the vaccine is smart in a nano tech way, and once in your body, it inspect what your body is most likely to fail later on, then provokes that specific weakness to grow and spread in a matter of days until you die, so if you were to get heart issues 20 years from now, you get them in 2 weeks, or other illnesses as well.

If you were to have nano bots injected in your body that identify what's the most probable illness you will develop naturally in the next 20/30 years, and then 'reprogram' your body so that it develops immediately, then it would look perfectly natural death. No one to blame, it "just happened"

It's true, once in a while I remember something I want to revisit, and I stop by I just pop in and pop back out. This time y'all caught me There is some really good research on PA. Just about any topic a person would want to dig into is right here. It's just good to be careful and not go down any rabbit holes lol. But hey, even if that happens, it is all learning. Everyone's on their own journey home.

Posting this here because I want to share but I think it's gross to talk about charity in person. This is one advantage of internet anonymity.

I donate to micro charities via Kiva but helping face to face is more rewarding. I'm really not sure why I do this, I don't have much and I hate throwing money away. I don't necessarily believe in karma, and if I did that'd be a ****ty reason to help people. Maybe I do it because it makes me feel good, because I get the impression that I did something good. Some folks point this out and suggest that it makes charity disingenuous since one is only doing it for the feel good feeling and not for some grand belief of helping the community. Frankly though, anyone who thinks that can kick rocks. Ask the guy who wanted me to buy him food and water what he thinks. Honestly, if he wanted a beer and cigs I wouldn't hesitate. My only question would be what kind of cigs he smokes. I'd give the change too.

Maybe this is harmful, maybe it is not. My ship in life sank a long time ago and it sucks being stuck out in the ocean, alone, except for the sharks circling. I can't relate to others' suffering but I do know suffering more than most others. I don't do the judging, just the helping. If someone's not ready to help themselves then I'll let them lean on me. Have a beer and a smoke. Tomorrow will be better, have faith in tomorrow.

It's just kinda weird. Maybe I'm helping because I was brainwashed as a Christian to help others. Maybe it's all for nothing. Maybe I'm overthinking everything! Regardless, I am very ****ing grateful that I'm not in the position of homeless misery, having to ask others for food. Legit asking for food and not money is mind boggling. I could ramble on, but I think that's enough for now.

Yo Strat, I can relate to everything you said there. It's easy to get a little neurotic about one's motivations, but I think it's a good sign actually. It indicates that you're honest enough with yourself to explore yours. Motivations are complex, even ones that involve charity. Most charity involves all the things you mentioned above. Those are all perfectly human thoughts and feelings.

What separates you from the average giver is your willingness to explore those thoughts and feelings. Much has been written on the forum about the Jungian shadow concept, so I won't delve deeply into it here. But I think your average giver won't allow himself/herself any time to explore their shadow motivations when it comes to charity. They won't even allow themelves to go there. They're perfectly happy lying to themslves about the purity of their actions. But nearly all actions involve ego in some shape or form.

Everyone who gives to charity secretly wants the world to know about it. That feeling isn't too unusual. Maybe that's not the important thing though. Maybe it's important to simply not indulge that urge. Maybe there's some moral victory in just doing that.

Same with karma. Nearly everyone who donates or gives considers karma at one time or another. But, as you said, giving is often its own gift - it makes you feel good! And I think that's why even the most deeply spiritual people give, because they've discovered that secret. And I don't think there's anything wrong with it at all.

Thanks for your thoughts there Strat and Mike. I'm going to come at this from yet another perspective.

Ultimately, what I want is to live and share with as many people as I can a heaven-on-earth. If I want to be happy and at peace, if I am here to be all that I can be, fulfilling my highest potential, loving and serving all, being true to myself and others, I'm going to share everything that I have as an outpouring of my heart and do it all unconditionally.

Having said that, I prefer to share whatever I have in the way of the material with a person directly because most charities are corrupt. I do donate to charities where the money goes directly to the people who need it.

I don't believe in karma, karma is only for those who cannot stay present.

My perspective on shadow work is this: Plumbing the depths of our shadows is a bottomless pit because every cell in our body has a poor me story to tell; it would be like scrubbing shadows off a wall. It is a complete waste of our time and energy. The past is the past. All we have to do is honour who we really are, stay in the present moment, be open to all the divine incoming thoughts by staying in SESSION and put back what is missing from our lives which is all the Love, Light, Life aspects.

As Einstein once said: “No Problem Can Be Solved From The Same Level Of Consciousness That Created It.”

In part, Constance, I agree with you. Some drown in the bottomless pit for a lifetime and use it as an excuse to not get their **** together.

I believe traumas such as childhood sexual and physical abuse needs to be worked through. It’s more than a ”poor me story to tell".

That kind of pain is stored deep within cellar memory. If it’s not brought to the surface and given a cathartic release, it’ll manifest in self-destructive patterns such as food addictions, drug and alcohol abuse and continue the cycle of abuse and torture onto their children.

Respectfully, the shadow work youre describing isn't what shadow work really is.

It's not an incessant digging into the past, or an analysis of poor me stories. All so called "shadow work" involves is a recogniton that in challenging situations we may present a side of ourselves that we're not proud of, and an effort to cultivate habits and behaviors that might lessen the chances that we present that side when said challenging situations arise. It's not an obsession with deficiencies, it's merely a recognition of them To improve something you first have to admit it exists! That's all shadow work is. Instead of denying thoughts and impulses that may frighten or confuse us, we integrate them in order to better manage them. It's very simple.
