Nice list thanks, I used https://www.scuttlebutt.nz/ for a while, it is a decentralised social network, I used the Patchwork in my laptops and Manyverse on Android, but since my mobile use is very limited (by option) I actually just tested it with a few people that I know, i am not using it in my daily life, it is a nice project and no one will be banned or deleted for posting any thing. Free speech platform.
There was one small issue I remember, I couldn't sync my laptop with the android app, neither the folks I tested with could do that, here is so far what I found explaining how to do that (https://weblog.masukomi.org/2017/12/...tiple-devices/). I am sure there is something else in their github repository related to it, but have to dig to find.

What is your Top 5?

Hi John. It will certainly take a little while for the alternative news sites and social media platforms to shake out. It is a fascinating process watching as places like gab and bitchute rapidly gain in content and diversity. i sense a timing to this, and if the dark get it wrong, then they will be in all sorts very quickly. I see how they are attempting to monopolise their positions by ensuring that you sign into their platforms before proceeding to their partners/subsidiaries.

I have begun to get content from
1.Bitchute
2.Gab
3.Brandnewtube
4.Patreon
5. Mewe

I do not know how many of these are ultimately controlled by the big guys, or which ones would be susceptible to takeover and strong arming in the future. Except Gab. The CEO of Gab, Andrew Torba, is a devout christian, and well studied in the Qanon material, as well as being a Silicon Valley insider.
