( I was posting some videos in the " Weird, wild weather: floods, freak storms, giant hail, record lows, all over the world" thread for a while about extreme global weather conditions--flooding, volcanoes, drought, etc, but there are so many videos now about so many such events all over the world, I just got tired of it.
What Ben Davidson says in this short video validates the case in point--such events will increasingly continue to be on the rise in the next 20-30 years.
But that doesn't mean that they are signs the timing on the 12,000 year cycle is accelerating.
Ben says the increase in extreme weather was figured into the 20-30 year estimate. BUT... the expectation is still that the global electric grid will go down sooner than that, and since that grid is fragile and it's very unlikely it can be repaired at that point, Preppers need to be ready to be off the grid before that happens.
Which means--ASAP....)

More about the 1859 Carrington Event, during which a CME from the Sun created havoc with the planet's grid.

Good talk, Ben. Honest self-reflection is essential to clearing our past, the baggage and garbage. As long as they are there, not dealt with, they remain weaknesses. If you’ve put a problem in (figuratively) a hole, poured cement down there, and forgot about it, the weakness that represents is only hidden from your awareness. Still there, waiting for life to show it to you again.

Foreseeable calamity or not, ‘working’ on ourself, as you called it, is one of the best uses of our God given time here on Earth.
