Kim Jong-un fighting for life after ‘heart surgery’

(CNN)The US is monitoring intelligence that suggests North Korea's leader, Kim Jong Un, is in grave danger after undergoing a previous surgery, according to a US official with direct knowledge.

A second source familiar with the intelligence told CNN that the US has been closely monitoring reports on Kim's health.
Kim recently missed the celebration of his grandfather's birthday on April 15, which raised speculation about his well-being. He had been seen four days before that at a government meeting.

Lots of speculation about it, but we know he put her sister on the "upgrade" path to replace him, if anything unexpected would happen

Also some friends who are working on low/middle level politics around NK have told me there's a bit of panic around this "issue" and everyone seems to be running like chickens all over the place, hitting their heads agains each other not knowing what to do

Maybe Corona chan came to visit Kim, and he's not really a healthy person anyways so he would not take that illness very well. But who knows, rumors and speculations, just that. Heart surgery is not out of the question, he constantly eats bad stuff and always looks as if he can't breath on his own for 5 straight minutes, so who knows

Agreed. Far more likely to be coronary than corona judging by his appearance.

Spinning Rumors of Regime Change in North Korea: Deciphering the Deep State’s Latest Kim Jong-un Conspiracy
    By Andrew Korybko
    Global Research, April 22, 2020

CNN’s report from a single unnamed US government source that the North Korean leader “is
in grave danger after undergoing a previous surgery”
isn’t all that credible, but the very fact
that it’s being pushed so strongly at this particular moment says a lot about the intentions of the
    network’s 'deep state' patrons.

    The Root Of The Rumor
Speculation is swirling all across the world about the possibility of an unexpected regime change in
North Korea following CNN’s report from a single unnamed US government source that Kim Jong-un
is in grave danger after undergoing a previous surgery”, with some outlets even going as far as to
predict that his sister Kim Yo-Jong might soon take his place. China and South Korea played down the
reports about his supposedly serious health crisis, but questions still remain about why hasn’t he been
seen in public for over 10 days after failing to appear at a celebration commemorating his grandfather’s
birthday on 15 April (his last public appearance was several days prior to that). CNN’s original report also
said that “A second source familiar with the intelligence told CNN that the US has been closely monitoring
    reports on Kim’s health
”, though that doesn’t in and of itself mean that his life is in danger, just that someone
allegedly confirmed that the US intelligence community is performing one of its most basic duties monitoring
reports about the health of a rival leader.

    Is The 'Broken Clock' Right?
Considering what’s factually known thus far, it’s obvious that something is amiss since Kim Jong-Un
wouldn’t otherwise have missed his grandfather’s birthday celebration, though it’s unclear exactly
what’s wrong. More than likely, it’s probably because of some health issue, but nobody knows for
sure whether it’s serious or not. Still, news about North Korea almost always succeeds in capturing
international media headlines, and the very fact that CNN of all places was the first to report that
he’s “in grave danger” is enough to be suspicious of its veracity. It might very well be the case
that “a broken clock is right twice a day” and that CNN’s report turns out to be credible, but it
could also turn out that it isn’t and that the network’s patrons in the permanent military, intelligence,
and diplomatic bureaucracy ('deep state') have ulterior motives for 'leaking' this story to the press.

South Korea and China play down Kim Jong-un ill-health claims
    Tue 21 Apr 2020

South Korea and China have played down speculation that Kim Jong-un is seriously ill, after
a Seoul-based website reported that the North Korean leader had undergone heart surgery.

Daily NK claimed Kim, who has not been seen in public for 10 days, was being treated at a
private villa following the procedure this month.

CNN, meanwhile, cited an anonymous US official as saying that Washington was “monitoring
    intelligence”
suggesting that Kim was in “grave danger”.

But Kang Min-seok, a spokesman at South Korea’s presidential Blue House, said there was
“nothing to confirm rumours about chairman Kim Jong-un’s health, and no special movement
has been detected inside North Korea as of now”
    .

South Korea’s Yonhap news agency quoted an unnamed government official saying that reports
Kim was seriously ill were “not true”.

An official at the Chinese Communist party’s international liaison department, which deals with
North Korea, told Reuters there was no reason to believe Kim was critically ill.

Speculation about Kim’s health grew after he missed an event to mark the anniversary of the birth
of his grandfather – and the country’s founder – Kim Il-sung, on 15 April.

Kim Jong-un underwent the procedure at a hospital in the county of Hyangsan on the country’s east
coast on 12 April, according to the Daily NK, which is run mostly by North Korean defectors.

The 36-year-old was continuing to receive treatment at a villa at the Mount Kumgang resort, it added.

The report cited unnamed sources, and there has been no official comment from North Korean state media.

Kim’s health had deteriorated in recent months due to heavy smoking, obesity and overwork, Daily NK said.

More here as well... Nothing mainstream...

North Korea's Supreme Leader/dictator Kim Jong-un has reportedly died, or is on his death bed with no hope for recuperation -- according to media outlets in China and Japan.

Amid reports China has sent a medical team to their communist neighbors this week to check in/advise on Kim, a Hong Kong-backed news channel's vice director -- who's apparently the niece of a Chinese foreign minister -- blasted out the news herself ... he's dead.

The woman put the report on a social media app called Weibo for her nearly 15 million followers to read, citing a "very solid source" about the claim Kim had, in fact, perished. A Japanese magazine reports he's in a "vegetative state" after a heart surgery gone wrong.

Best source so far. Claims Kim Jong-Un in "vegetative state."

The North Korean dictator's health remains a mystery after a report that he was in 'grave condition' following cardiovascular surgery; Greg Palkot reports.

Kim Jong Un’s health appears could be more serious than initially believed, according to reports.

Reports emerged earlier this week that Kim was gravely ill following heart surgery, although that has since been disputed. However, Japanese media now claims that Kim is in a vegetative state following a stent procedure.

Japanese magazine Shukan Gendai reported that Kim collapsed during a visit to a rural area in April. Kim reportedly required a stent procedure following the incident.

Shukan Gendai subsequently detailed how the surgeon in charge of Kim’s operation was not used to dealing with obese patients and was too nervous during the operation, leading to delays that left Kim in a “vegetative state.”

The magazine cited an unnamed member of Kim’s medical team.

I don't wish him death, because i know he has kids and losing your father is a terrible thing to happen, as much evil as he was for everyone else he's not the same for those kids very likely. I don't speak for myself but my sis lost her father at 8 years old and his death destroyed her in a lot of ways i have seen through the years, it's not something i wish on anyone, it changes you forever and we are not ever responsible for what our parents did or do. I don't know but at least i feel for those kids who may never see or understand the hate people had for his father

I am positive about removing the guy from power, that's for sure, the political thing doesn't relate to wish him death as some people are wishing for on Reddit/Twitter and Facebook + other sites, i find that a horrible way of being and i hope we never see that stance here on Avalon. Would be terrible disappointing

North Korea is still remaining silent on its leader Kim Jong-un's health. Although
the reports about Kim's poor health may just end in rumors, a lot of speculations
are rising from media about who's next in line to run the communist nation.

As a leader of the country that has been ruled by the same Kim family for 7 decades
now, Kim Jong-un's younger sister Kim Yo-jong was considered as the most likely
candidate to step in as a successor. However, another Kim family member also came in
the spotlight, & that is Kim Pyoung-il.

Very unlikely, he's not "pure enough" as he is a half brother only from the previous leader, this has sent him into a third place because even as Jim Jong un has a sister, they also have kids, which would take the privilege over an older half-xxxx person. Just as with royalty, he's a "bastard" so no chance. Unless he had somehow managed to create a coup behind everyones eyes?

Have you noticed no "bastards" are ever elected, it's always the strong one on each primary generation, even if there are some others older or more experienced but not from the "main" family

Kim Yo-jong has tons of power since years ago, if she sees this guy as a problem, he will get taken away if she needs to, no doubt about it at all

She's way too powerful by now, even by normal standards and above Generals and whatever else comes her way, only Kim would be higher than her, to be clear

Default Re: Kim Jong-un fighting for life after ‘heart surgery’

American intelligence is claiming he went into isolation after several officials caught coronavirus.

Someone in Ireland did a photoshop job of him in a glass casket at approximately the same time American intelligence claimed they used a combination of radars and spy aircraft to prove he is in Wonsan, and released the following:

"It has been reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong Un who has recently become subject to rumors about his health moved to Wonsan to avoid COVID-19. The U.S. authorities captured Kim walking on his own. "It has been identified that Kim Jong Un had been staying in Wonsan during the entire last week, " said a U.S. government official. "He was seen to be walking on his own between April 15 and 20." It has been reported that the movements of Kim€™s cars and close associates were also witnessed and Kim was walking on his own without help from others or being in a wheelchair. The U.S. authorities seem to have identified such information based on the analysis of radars and images captured by reconnaissance planes.

"As some of Kim's aids and high-ranking officials have contracted COVID-19, Kim seems to have left Pyongyang, which has a high population density, as a preventive measure, " said the official regarding the reasons why the North Korean leader has not made a public appearance since April 11.

It remains unknown when Kim will make a public appearance again.

    From today's Daily Mail (26.4.20)

Quote A 250-metre-long train belonging to the dictator has been spotted near to his Wonsan holiday compound as recently as Thursday in satellite photos, according to news website 38North.

Although Kim's whereabouts remains unknown, the train's presence at a nearby railway station reserved for the Kim family in the 'elite' area on the east coast suggests he has visited the hideaway.

The most recent photos, from April 23, show the train preparing for departure.

The Wonsan complex includes nine large guesthouses and recreation center, as well as a shooting range and covered dock believed to be for a yacht. At the center of the grounds is a large building that was constructed shortly after Kim Jong Un came to power in 2014.

Kim’s last confirmed public appearance was two weeks ago, when he led a meeting of the ruling Workers’ Party committee of policymakers, according to North Korean state media.

A bit of horse-sense from JS:

Despite what the click bait crew has claimed, there is no solid evidence Kim Jong is in trouble at all. Today his train was spotted in a resort town on the coast. It is highly probably he's bugging out from corona. Do not wish him dead, if he goes, the other options are not good. Kim jong is the best case scenario for NK, how lucky we are.

I know people rip him as a tyrant, but it is definitely true that the best thing that could happen is for Kim Jong to stay in power until he's at least 80. Try to name someone in NK that would be better. There is no one. FACT: If Kim Jong was not the leader of North Korea and instead showed up at your work place as an employee, he'd probably be popular. I can't name another powerful communist that would be.

Definitely something going on with him. KJU does have a twitter account, and 3 days ago he tweeted:

때로는 더 강력하고 똑똑한 버전으로 다시 태어나려면 조금 죽어야합니다.

    Google translates it thus:

Sometimes you need to die a bit to be reborn as a more powerful and smarter version.

    A day later:

Like stars, humans have the right to eclipse.
If the light returns and the eclipse is not an endless night, everything is fine.
    Dawn and Resurrection are synonymous.
The return of light is like the survival of the soul.

    Earlier today:

Do not believe what you have not seen with your own eyes.

    All on his twitter feed.

He finally showed up.. Honestly, i can't believe he's alive like that, how can a 38 year old guy be in this terrible shape? Just look at the older men around him, it's ridiculous how unhealthy he is.

He survived this one but clearly he is not doing well, looks like if a mosquito would land on him and prick his arm he would explode with the power of 10 thousand Tsar bombs LMAO
