It seems to be something like that. I am intuiting a northern sine oscillating much more quickly than the Giza sine (which makes exactly 1 period around the earth), meaning it could possibly be the same sine that makes it's pass through the Irish and U.K sites and dips down to the strip along southern Germany as you've mentioned. Theoretically it would continue in this trend all the way around earth, covering roughly more of Europe, southern Russia, and the Americas, perhaps straddling the Canadian/U.S border in its oscillations.

Could be a fun thing to see if anything comes up.
