Radio chip coming soon to your driver's license?

I would hope that we could opt-out by not buying an enhanced license? Then again, what happens if they don't even give us that option?

Does anybody have a list or a way to check against what I actually carry around with me already?
I.E. does my current passport have a chip in it? How do I find out?
