There is destiny, and some of it can be over-ridden with will and manifestation. All of what we 'think' we want in this lifetime might very well be had - Money, jobs, people coming in - However, for some, the very essence of this exercise on a daily basis can create such a force within their ego consciousness that it can ultimately create a kind of 'fatigue' (as Edith Underhill would explain) ... its result is a sort of backlash, rubber band effect of the consciousness - for as much will that we have used to create our external world (rather than our internal world), will be equalled in that force to create an opportunity for the Soul Consciousness to manifest what It wanted for us this lifetime. This kind of Force always creates opportunities for expansion of our inner consciousness...which naturally seeks the Numinous and the One Source energy. So let's say one is an amazing director and actor - everything his mind has yearned for has been delivered by his powerful free will. So much so, that achievements would equal that of the Empire State Building...well, then, expect that it is possible that the same level of power is available to one's inner world. In fact, I would guess that if one has achieved the outer, there are grand possibilities to reach amazing, unforeseen inner depths. Again, and this is in other threads that I have spoken about the Will, it is very useful in the beginnings of spiritual pursuit to discipline our mind consciousness to learn to manifest and discipline the will, for it takes great practice and patience, and other things. Similar to the Magician card in the Tarot. As one travels this road, you see that more and more, out of a natural spiritual process, one may find oneself letting go of too much will and asking that one's own will be aligned to the One Source consciousness, accepting whatever the circumstances that presents. Just my thoughts. |

Bumpy roads along the path of life can leave us losing balance and vearing off down some other route.
Smooth paths always have junctions. Both paths carry temptations that broaden our horizons. When times are hard we think how bad they are and somtimes can never see a way on. In this scenario we are stood on the road of life looking at a signpost we cannot see (wood for the trees springs to mind) The sign post says - hard times. Now closer inspection reveals a arrow pointing along this road we stand on - the future which is bad. Even closer inspection reveals other arrows which take you off this path. I believe that you have to quieten the mind (meditation) in order to see the ultimate possibilities of free will. |
