Well, what I've found in this particular field is that the first time someone disagrees with someone else, they call them a "disinformation agent" - and of course TPTB would use that particular technique, too. Soooo, I think the issue here is for us to use our own discrimination - and if you're not comfortable doing that, maybe to wait until you have enough proof rather than one person saying it against another.
