Well, with Communism you get victimisation of minority groups, concentration camps, no individual freedoms, massive state control of every aspect of life and a cabal of elite holding all the power and wealth. You go left to get there, hence the term 'left wing.' And with National Socialism you get victimisation of minority groups, concentration camps, no individual freedoms, massive state control of every aspect of life and a cabal of elite holding all the power and wealth. You go right to get there, hence the term 'right wing.' Socialism is the mindset (for want of a better word) that leads to Communism and National Socialism- the process of centralisation of power on the grounds that individual freedoms are outweighed by the needs of the country, continent or world. Sometimes called National Security, economic reform or by other terms. The problem is, most people are so focused on how great one wing is and had bad the other wing is they tend to miss the bloody great owl in the middle which happily flies on to the same destination it's always had. I think that about sums it up. Everyone please feel free to fill in anything I missed or correct any mistakes. ![]() |
