"'socialist policies' will cause food shortages" (this is absurd)
i see the word 'socialist' bandyied around a lot on this and other forums. it seems to be equated with 'satanism', or something like that. americans even commonly refer to the democrats as 'socialist'. it's really clear that most americans have no idea what 'socialism' means. the highest standard of living is not enjoyed by americans, but by the swedes and norwegians, who have socialist governments. |

I think that food shortages (created by disruptions to the normal distribution channels) are a very likely feature of the future array of inconveniences to beset many people.
It will probably be a major catalyst to awaken the remainder of the sleepers. Hunger is pretty hard to ignore. A.. |
