Think about the premature aging part.

It happened to Bill Clinton, George W.Bush and now it's happening to Obama. Obama's got a bit of gray coming out that he didn't have on the campaign trail.

Ditto on VPs, especially former VP Al Gore. He looks NOTHING like he did 10 years ago.

Either it's the stress of the job or something else.

Maybe the premature aging is part of the marketing campaign for US politicians. Maybe there is some kind of template used by the public relations team of the elite to model politicians. That basic package would include fast aging to better sell the character in the medias and to public opinion. They tried it once with a president and they got so good results that they decided to include it in the starting kit for all the other presidents.
