You can tell , he's trying to scare congress into not pursueing the bill.

By the way , isnt congress suppose to be issuing currency according to the bill of rights / constitution ? Wasnt that the intention of our for fathers ? to keep the power to issue currency out of private corp hands ?

I heard from an accountant that there is a difference between financial and operational audits. The latter can be very complicated, messy, time-consuming, disruptive, even if things are all legit. Maybe this is what Bernanke is anticipating, in addition to the corruption.
