I guess we will see what impact this has on the life of the average citizen.
All I know is that everything has been humming along without any major hiccups in services, utilities, etc. There are many smaller signs around here that people are having a rough time such as empty houses and businesses, lots of people on foot instead of driving, homeless etc. I know multiple people who are out of work and have or are dealing with foreclosure and reposession. As someone else commented in another thread, a collapse would almost be a welcome development after all the tension building! Ah! Here is a BIG event that has been predicted that has actually come to pass! However, those big events that affect nearly everyone across the board could be quite painful..... I guess we should be careful what we wish for. Short-term pain would be worth it if something better is born from it. Last edited by FIIISH; 10-14-2009 at 05:35 AM. |
