Swine Flu Tracking/Posting Section

UPDATE : My dad has just been diagnosed with swine flu. He seems to be in pretty good form, although he was telling me that at one stage he could just about take the top of the bottle of brandy in order to help him sleep. He's about six days in now and is in good enough form to go out and about walking outside.

This is the killer bug their all talking about huh? Ive seen people in far worse condition after taking a swine flu vaccination.

We are located in the west of Ireland.

Id also like to add, because im feeling it is somewhat important that the diagnosis was given after a simple check over.

"what are your symptoms?"

"Aches and pains, sore belly, headache"

"Its swine flu."

Simple as that.. no swabs taken or anything like that. It seems to me that he's got nothing more then the common flu. The doctors seem to be primed and ready to diagnose anyone with flu like symptoms as swine flu.
