1986 Cambrideshire UK- 10 years old

The flight tests most likely take place at the US Air Force base named RAF Alconbury in Cambrideshire at this time. I now live at the base and have my own bunk bed on the left side of a small room which I share with other children. I prefer living here than Recreation Road.
The aircraft hanger is on the first level underground and located to the left side of a runway which goes off diagonally to the right in a grassy field. A large hatch opens to the left of the runway and the more secret aircraft take flight from the first level underground.
