It's obvious some of you are missing my point, especialy the ones private messaging me rather than maning up and putting it here for all to see.
Like my original post says, I'm not here to argue the livelyhood of the wolf. I'm just trying to make the point that you have to focus on the most dire problems first then work down the ladder. The fact is, we can sit here and argue about the wolf and the "heartless" killing of these animals. I'm only suggesting that the discussion be focused on problems of a grander scale and the heartless sole that considers the use of nuclear weapons, the pilfering of it's people, allowing millions to starve to death. After these problems are solved, then lets move on to lesser evils. |

What would you do if a pack of wolves threatened your food supply? What would you do if a pack of wolves threatened your family? Wolves are not fuzzy, furry, helpless creatures as they appear in the video. They are vicious killers along the lines of lions in Africa, tigers in Asia and venomous snakes in South America. They threaten wildlife, people and entire ecosystems. Futhermore, the video is a campaign attack ad designed to elicit the exact response that it had in you. It is manipulative and deceptive. Now I have two suggestions for you. If your aim is to save animals, join the PETA forums. If your aim is to sway others politically, there are thousands of forums that will welcome you. Of course, if your aim is to further your own knowledge and teach others of things that are more thought provoking and esoteric in nature, you're welcome to stay here and I will value your input. |

OK people..
This thread has been steered way off the original posters topic, and..it should really be in Off Topic Although the treatment of wildlife can be disturbing that's not the direction Project Avalon is taking right now. I'd like to refer you to Kerry's opening post in this thread if I may: http://www.projectavalon.net/forum/s...ead.php?t=1021 Quote:

If she would do this to animals ,she wouldn't think twice about doing it to to humans.in my experience you can judge a person by the way they treat animals

not in my opinion,in my experience people who are cruel to and do not respect animals treat people the same way.I do eat meat and will hunt to eat if I have too,but would never kill for sport .I grew up in a rural farming community.

This isn't cruelty. They aren't killing these animals to feed their own bloodlust. The wolf population in Alaska has grown to a dangerous level. The reason they use planes and helicopters is because the expanse of area is so remote and so large that there aren't enough hunters to cover the ground necessary for culling the wolf population. |

Every other option is owned by the true powers that be. My posts above are not in defense of Palin. I know nothing about her politics and I really don't care. She's a shill for the elite. As is everyone else running. No politician is going to save us. They will debate the inconsequential issues and make you believe they're important. My posts in this thread are to illustrate the power of deceptive and manipulative advertising. I wanted people to see how they bought into the trap. My hope was to help people realize that by delving into the political thought process they are helping to perpetuate the sham. Who am I voting for? NOBODY. I think the best message we can send at this point is that we don't care about the games they play anymore and we're not going to pay attention. |

Izz,
I respect although don’t completely support or understand the view you have on the wolf hunting. May I put a scenario before you that was an actual occurrence here on my eco-farm and ask what would you have done. I have 75 or so organically raised chickens that are allowed to free-range during the day outside in the sun where can do what chickens love and are designed to do. I sell their eggs to very grateful customers. A very intelligent coyote started picking off my hens one or two a day. He was doing what coyotes are designed to do and he was very “wiley” and elusive in his daily onslaught of my flock. He outwitted my dogs. He even ate one of my barn cats . . . my favorite by the way. He changed his “attack” patterns. He worked with two female coyotes that would distract so he could move in. I tried live trapping . . . he sprung the trap and took the bait. I tried changing the times I let the hens out or not letting them out at all, which is not healthy for the hens. I tried sitting on a large rock by my pond waiting and knowing that is where he generally would begin his day and stared into his eyes and asked him not to eat my chickens because I would have to resort to deadlier means. I asked the energy forms and nature beings to convince the coyote to go away. He did not. I shot him. |
