The heart that's where the love comes in , that's where the love goes out, that's where all barriers resolve. Let it be

I am such a "head" person when it comes to my spiritual path. However, one of my good friends is on a devotional path and I recognize that as a legitimate spiritual path. We are enjoying each other's viewpoint and perhaps our interaction will give both of us balance.

History is replete with martyrs. Yes, those martyrs live on in our thoughts and beliefs, but they are not physically alive. Love does not keep the physical body alive. The physical body needs food, water and oxygen. To believe anything else is naive in my opinion. |

Of course we need to be aware and prepare that is why we are here but LOVE is the way the only way to build a new and better world.
I was personally taught by a member of the galactic federation "A community with gun will not survive." LOVE...... LOVE...... LOVE......... love is all there is we are here to teach a new way |

Just remembered an old song I knew in a life 10 years ago..
I think y'all will like the lyric.. Twelfth Night Love Song Lyrics Songwriters: N/A (Geoff Mann) Everybody has wisdom everyone understands Food when we are hungry The touch of loving hands No-one is anyone's property No-one should be a slave The joining of hearts in free will Begins a tidal wave Don't hold back Don't think that hope is pointless Love is a love is a love is a love is an open door Don't believe That life is closed against us Love is a love is a love is a love is An open door And it doesn't make any difference The colour of anyone's skin We need the rejection of prejudice Let peace come flooding in Jealousy is just a parasite hatred is disease Respect for human dignity Become skittering wind blown leaves Don't hold back Don't think that hope is pointless Love is a love is a love is a love is an open door Don't believe That life is closed against us Love is a love is a love is a love is An open door The time is surely coming when we could all be free When eyes for so long blinded In opening shall see That children may grow happily Safe in the love of all The earth a fertile garden where no-body need crawl Don't hold back Don't think that hope is pointless Love is a love is a love is a love is an open door Don't believe That life is closed against us Love is a love is a love is a love is An open door And if it seems that your hoping heart Has led you into pain Take a tip from the Carpenter Forgive and love again and again http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1AKdzZC0f_E |

btw I am not trying to disrupt peace in the forum... or get anyone riled up. I enjoy a little debate every now and again though. Please do not take this personally... because its not about that. I am staying open... and gladly accept any thing that people might not agree with in my response acrora.

IE... Ghandi taking back India from Britain without a single bullet. It doesn't get much more powerful than this example. And there are cases where fear and hording only brought violence. IE... Every famine in history. When the people starve, they will do anything to get bread. I would sooner work together with people, than deny them.... and end up fighting them. Quote:
In fact by extending a hand, and working together... it might prevent a conflict from happening, because the other group wont feel the need to fight to get their needs met. They may wanna fight anyway... but in that case nothing can be done but to defend. Again preparedness doesnt mean fear... it just means being prepared. Quote:
Just look at a tree. Take a small tree and put it in a pot of dirt that has been weighed. Allow the tree to grow large then pull it out of the dirt. Then weigh the dirt and pot again... and it will be exactly the same as first measurement. The same experiment has been done with babies... and yielded the same results. In conclusion love does not mean naivety, and preparedness does not mean fear. Emotions are not subjective to specific conditions... and are a choice. Thankyou |
