We cannot panic. We will be all right as long as we think we will be all right. what Capitol Hill needs to realize is that the little man needs to have the bolstering, not the big bank managers.

If they do that, we will be all right. Remember what Andrew Jackson did when he was the prez. He kicked those Federalists right in their kiesters and closed the Federal banks. Then he put all the dollars into wildcat (i.e. locally owned, locally run by the local man banks.) We need to do the same, so the common man can start living free and clear of the economic slave chains the big man has put on all of us and we've been trying to break free of for years.

But this is not the banks of the 19th century we are dealing with...
