I have SOHO bookmarked on my browser and check it twice a week.
Solar cycle 24 was supposed to be more active than the others, not less,
Some researchers have said that the Solar Pole shift has already happened, just after a large spot was seen above 19 degrees from the Solar equator, well out of the usual sunspot range.
Thanks for the tip, I will study the SOHO data again
Whatever happens on the Sun happens here 9 minutes later, we could be in for some rapid global cooling.
