Default Re: Abandoned pets.

I got a question for the forum members here, what do I feed my two little dogs and cat if the shtf and I am away in the bush, woods and there is no food, do you think they will eat the vegetables that I grow if there is nothing else, I know sometimes that they chew on a bit of grass in the backyard for some reason sometimes.

Do you think it would be spiritually okay if maybe we tried to catch a few wild rabbits to cook for them to eat.

Since my beloved Mr Biggs passed (devon rex cat) on August 12 this year I was howling most days. Hubby (he can be a gem at times) got on the computer and told the story to a devon rex breeder and she kindly offered us one of her little kittens which will fly down on a plane for us when he is 12 weeks old, neutered, microchipped, all the vaccinations done. I have been stocking up on good cat food but my husband doesn't believe everything I am viewing on here and said why on earth are you getting cat food and dog food and hoarding it, the cat is not even here with us yet. Between a rock and a hard place I am at times.

Anyway what do you think about what I could feed them if the shelves go bare?

Not that anyone is interested but we looked for days on the computer looking at names, couldn't come up with one. In the end hubby suggested to me.........why don't you call him a character from one of your favourite books, how about Louis from the John Connelly books - but he sent off the name to the breeder in Queensland and unfortunately spelt Louis Lewis! The breeder sends us pictures of Lewis every week until we get him in December.
