Default Re: Nc removes barack from ballot

Hi mntruthseeker,

First of all I need to say that I don't really care who will be elected next week, I don't even have the right to manifest my political view on the US as I'm not even American.

However I think at this stage we wil find how dirty politics can get. We see that Obama is ahead in the polls, we see that in terms of policy, McCain is not, or does not appear to be the chosen one (although that will be decided in the election) so secret recordings and texts taken out of context are being presented and even lies being told to try and get the swing voters over to the other side.

I was repulsed by Fox News this morning because they spent most of the morning slagging off Obama. I really don't see the point of Fox doing that as they are seen to be right wing for the popular classes (lower rate of intelect) and on the whole the left wing won't even go near them, so they are trying to sell ice to an Eskimo.

You can be sure, as the time gets nearer, the desperation and inuendos will get worse, even down to a repeat of the 'hanging chads' routine. It seems par for American politics.

that's what makes the US great.

Best regards,

Steve
