Please forgive me for being a little thick on this, but what do all these American corps have in common?

Another coincidence was reading somewhere that the Jewish masses were expelled from Spain in ~1492 when some of their leadership was found to be supporting the dissidents of Spain. (Perhaps there too stirring the pot of hate in preparation for a financial crash and/or civil war?)

Does anyone out there know Spanish history and economics?

For example: Were there influential groups of people that were:
1) acting as our Federal Reserve 'regulating', [taxing] the currency with all the implied purchasing / corruption powers?

2) Monopolizing key commodities like grain/fuel/arms?

3) Leveraging the 'Oops Business Model'(i), to manufacture shortages to control markets/prices?

4) Leveraging basic greed to lure the Spanish companies into bringing in too much cheap/free labor displacing local workers and/or inflating prices screwing with the economy?

Thanks for any light you might help to shed.

(i) "Oops Business Model": Deliberate placing weak links in the supply chain, special regulations, formulations, poor training or any number of other artificial means of creating or leveraging apparent human mistakes to increase profits, decrease competition, protect market share, etc.
