Good for the French, when they don't like something they stand up and say so

A mass strike should help the economy no end.

If the unions think the policy is wrong, simply offer an alternative.

Don't do something that will make a situation that you're concerned about worse. That just doesn't make sense. It defeats the whole object of the complaint.

We need to think back to the miners' strike under Arthur Scargill in the UK.

I blame Arthurs dodgy comb-over! It gave me nightmares for months!

Anyway, on a more serious note, I disagree Steve.

This whole global economic crisis was planned long ago & no matter what viable alternative any group comes up with it'll be ignored..

The populous of this planet are finally starting to wake up & say "..NO!..We've had enough!"

If that means global strikes, then so be it. Actions speak louder than words..

I agree and I do not think that any microchipping can be good.( The latter statements refers to Steve's being pro microchipping on certain conditions...)

The French has always stood there ground, i commend them for what they are doing, pity the Uk people aren't the same way of thinking, we tend to roll over and let the government dictate.
I agree this agenda has been on the boil for a long while now perhaps more of us should get out there and protest!
What do they say there is only a few running this world? well it's about time the people took a stand.

Hi Colin,

I really don't see the point accelerating the process that the PTB are wanting (if that's what we beleive) as a protest against the very same thing.

However, as Jacqui_D suggested, protests could be a good alternative. That's not a strike, so it doesn't prejudice what you're fighting for and it delivers the message.

Best regards,

Steve
