President Obama told human rights advocates at the White House on Wednesday that he was mulling the need for a “preventive detention” system that would establish a legal basis for the United States to incarcerate terrorism suspects who are deemed a threat to national security but cannot be tried, two participants in the private session said.

Guantanamo Closure Funds Stripped by Senate, 90-6

Senators on Wednesday followed through with their vow to deny the Obama administration the necessary money to close the US prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Voting 90-6, the Senate stripped $80 million from a supplemental military funding bill, $50 million of which was designated to close the controversial prison and $30 million for a Justice Department investigation into interrogation techniques used there.

With trial balloons floating regarding the possibility of preventative detention and now government vaccine programs, the control necessary to keep the dollar high and government subsidies flowing grows darker. Let’s hope that bio-warfare is not someone’s idea of how to balance the federal budget and protect the banking and insurance industries.

I think Catherine Austin Fitts' ORIGINAL TITLE at her website, solari.com/blog, "Obama: Worried about a Falling Dollar?" points to preparations for civil unrest in which case it is directly related to the falling economy.



Rachel Maddow Takes on Obama on Indefinite Detention

Maddow continues to impress in her sharp critique of the Obama administration for continuing and expanding upon Bush's violations of civil liberties. Although I disagree with her strongly on economics, I find immense value in her consistent application of her civil libertarian principles, regardless of partisan concerns. If many more Americans judged both parties by the same standard -- even an imperfect standard -- we'd be on our way to freedom.

I wonder if this gets passed and enacted into law , How long will it be till the DHS is applying it to innocent american civilians . I wonder then if people might realize that Barack is not what they think he is . Just another groomed lacky for the PTB

Obama gives Memorial Day speech in which he praises the Constitution and simultaneously proposes indefinite imprisonment of those who have committed no crime but who the government thinks will do so in the future. That is a violation of the Constitution. http://www.brasschecktv.com/page/630.html
