Hi Orion11,
The bright blue clouds are not only in Europe. I saw them for the first time on Sunday gone, I even commented to somebody who was there about their almost bright blue likeness. I've not seen clouds that colour before in my life and thought at the time it was something aboutsub tropical weather that I didn't know about, after all we had the huge turbulence Air France thingy only a couple of weeks ago. Best regards, Steve Quote:

Noctilucent clouds are beautiful in person. I saw one once that was a result of the residual contrail from a Saturn 5 rocket. I went to work one mourning in Boca Raton Florida. I got out of the car and looked up to the East North East Sky (Cape Canaveral) and saw this.
![]() I was a litte freaked out because when I saw it, it was against a pitch black 5:30am night sky and was very luminescent. It looked just like a Hubble Space Telescope picture of a nebula. I had to do some research to discover what it was. It was the ice crystals left behind by the exhaust of a rocket. It was high enough in the atmosphere that it cought the light that was about to come over the horizon before it actually did. I did not take the picture. I found it on NASA's web site the next day. |

Im from ohio and was recentlly in california where they were all complaining about an unsially long "june gloom" rather than sunny and hott hott hott. It was over cast cloudy and mild. most californians wearing hoodies n what not. It wasnt that cold to me tho being from ohio. Weird weather and I think its only going to get weirder

You want it " HOT " in PHX, Arizona.... Right Now, I could use a little rain... [thinking] " So, Is a raindance a too step...? ", [thinking] : Next Week, We'll Turn up the Heet in PHX.... How bout 105...107.... [that's nice] Now that My Siss-tum has been fixed I can let go ...... We'll see what we can do... We shall see; what we shall, see... I'll think abt it... see what happens. *******
*** * Sure SUMPIN happening here. May was 5-weeks rain every day, still going on now, with heavy winds thunderstorms embedded here in Florida. Did some damage yesterday - power lines and trees down. And been unusually Hot at the same time last few weeks 98-101, heat index ~112 or so with the high humidity. Blue skies MOST unusual. Wonder if SUMPIN flying around up there, like that could be related to that pilot death at 61 of "natural causes?" Flew in from Belgium last nite. * *** ******* |

I find the weather to be very strange. I live in Seattle, and it just feels different. There seems to be a lot of wind. I don't remember it every being as breezy as this before. And the air feels kind of electric.
