I saw this on the Sun's website 2 days ago and thought that it was strange that I hadn't seen it yet on Avalon, so here it is:

This one is in Mexico and it is huge. I cannot believe that it can be a natural phenomenon. You decide.

I saw that one too, and you're right, no one mentioned it here. LOL, I just got to the end of that article, and the very first viewer comment, which I normally pay no attention to, made me burst out laughing:

Hi. I am an Extra-Terrestrial and I would like to set the record straight. We are only here for the beer. We don't anal probe you or mess with cows. All that stuff is done by your stupid government and they are blaming us. We just want beer. We have been buying it for years. We love dark beer by the way and light beer sucks. We don't want to invade you or kill any of you. You do that to yourselves well enough. We just want the beer. We have, on occasion interfered when you were about to launch global war, since that would stop the production of beer. Yes. You read that right. Beer saved the world. Keep making it, stop fighting each other.
One more thing...that whole god idea? You guys are way off the mark with that.
And the hole in the cloud? Ask your stupid government. The ones that can't do anything right? yeah, they are trying to control the weather. They can't even control their own johnson's and they think they can control the weather?
