Default Financial crisis or loss of values?

The West has become morally bankrupt - this preceded the financial crisis and is the reason pumping more money into 'the corpse' won't bring it back to life. Schools that don't teach, hospitals and nursing homes that don't care about their patients came before the financial corruption that made it all 'official'. More money won't bring back the heart into this society, only loving service will and that has gone because this is the way society/ individuals grow and decline in old age: Youth has it together (see Indigo thread for my reply) old age is disillusioned and falls apart because of this. These are the processes at work - hence only new life can overcome old death (creationism overcomes entropy). Religion is dead, science is not enough and communion with reality has ended in selfish pursuit instead (The empty rocket falls to the ground, having got this far by holding together as a team and exploding in elements that went their own spectacular ways: The party is over...).

Paigetheoracle:

In dividing old and young, you leave out all the old who have known all this all along and who are anxious for some change as well. All the young don't necessarily have their hearts in the right place either -- generations of American children have now been raised all their lives on violent images in the media and their moral compass is out of true.

Many of us know and have known that the US is screwed up. Globalization, which has happened quite quickly, helped set things up so that the whole world can come crashing down. In the rubble and the chaos, we have to be careful what we rebuild. Many old and many young and many in between are hoping we can rebuild something better.

Mother Earth cries out for attention.

She CRIED out having decided she didnt want to die, and the universe heard. That is part of the reason why we are even here now talking.

Unbeleiveable quanities of light and love are now showered on Earth, and to the extent we make it possible, through you, through me and through all of us.

I think the earth would otherwise have died by now if this hadnt happened - it doesnt bear thinking about.

A..
