This “To greet newcomers”, is an “open thread” and has a link pointing to a thread that has a “for subscription only”.
You Karen has a Moderator level, me (stiros) and Czymra has a Member level.
Maybe there is something “buggy” in testing the different flags within the vBulletin program.

That is more likely the cause than the operating systems.
You need to check your board settings. What is the result when you click the link. 404 or nothing at all?

Well, Karen, maybe you could forward this to the admin. There seems to be a conflict between subscribers and moderators regarding the "Subscription Only" part of the board.
