Texas on High Alert with Mexico Updates

The Governor of Texas has put the State on high alert because of the violent clashes on the Mexican side of the border.

He stated in a recent interview that the State is on high alert to avert the sudden influx of hundreds of thousands of Mexicans fleeing from Mexico because of the escalation of violence between the drug cartels and the miltaryand police.

Protests have been increasing in the streets demanding the military to be taken away from the border town and it has been reported that the drug cartels have even used bazooka rounds against the miltary.

The Texan governor also stated that his forces are ready, independantly of whether the White House orders action or not.

Seriously, this is a pretty serious conflict. I blame the War on Drugs for the escalation of violence related to the global drug market.
